"For this price point, I honestly think this hotel is pretty good! The room is a bit small – we struggled to open two suitcases – but it has a massive TV that you can cast Netflix and YouTube to. Watching TV on such a huge screen was incredibly satisfying. As for cleanliness, it's neither outstanding nor terrible; those who are particularly finicky might not like it. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the subway station, which is acceptable. You can also walk to Dongdaemun in a short while, so the location is decent (though next time I might choose to stay in Myeongdong). Ordering takeout is super convenient; you can basically get all the popular takeout options from Xiaohongshu. I highly recommend ordering takeout, the Korean delivery food is truly amazing and delicious! 🔥 The front desk staff were very friendly, always greeting us when we returned. Overall, it's a good hotel, suitable for those who aren't too picky about accommodation and want to save money 🩷❤️"

"The location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from Euljiro 2(ga) station after taking bus 6015. The subway station is also very close, and there are tons of dining options downstairs, with places like 'Water Parsley Beef' and 'Wild Wild' right around the corner. 😂 The hotel lobby has a luggage scale and a convenience store, and you can do laundry on B2. The room size is acceptable, and there's a window, though no view. However, there's no shelf or platform in the bathroom to put toiletries. The narrow strip under the mirror is too small to hold anything. The motion-sensor light near the entrance can't be turned off, which can be startling when getting up for the restroom at night. The soundproofing in the room is decent, but I could clearly hear people shouting on the street in the middle of the night. I understand and appreciate the eco-friendly concept, but the lack of cups in the room was a bit inconvenient."

"## Location: Perfect Score Right across from Lotte Duty-Free and less than a 5-minute walk to Shinsegae Duty-Free, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. Its location is comparable to the Aloft nearby but significantly better than Voco (which requires a bit of a detour). If you're here for serious shopping, this location will definitely save you time and effort. ## Room & Facilities The room size is similar to Aloft's – both are on the 'compact' side. It's a bit smaller than Voco, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might want to reconsider. The hotel is located within a mixed-use building, so you'll need to go to the 9th-floor lobby for check-in. Waiting for elevators during peak hours can be a bit of a pain. There are free luggage lockers on the 9th floor lobby, which are very convenient to use. ## Service & Details The service was adequate, neither exceptionally good nor bad. However, there's a noticeable drawback: my Trip.com reservation explicitly requested a 'high floor,' but I was given the 11th floor (guest rooms are on floors 10-18). This compromised both the view and the quietness. I recommend calling ahead to confirm or actively requesting a higher floor upon arrival. The central air conditioning noise from the adjacent building runs 24/7, which somewhat affected my sleep. ## Alternatives Next door is Ibis. If you're not sensitive to floor level or room size, you could compare prices for the same location and pick whichever is cheaper. ## Summary: If you're looking for ultimate convenience and don't mind a smaller room or the occasional elevator wait, this place is worth considering. However, if a great view, spacious rooms, or a high-floor experience are important to you, I suggest lowering your expectations or looking elsewhere."

"Great hotel service and in middle of Myeong-dong! Do note the Uber/Taxi apps can’t set pickup point right outside the hotel entrance, you got to walk out to main street, all else is good about the location They offer free beer and nachos or popcorn for the movie room. They went out of the way to find me birthday candles which I forgot to bring and can’t find anywhere in Myeong-dong. The room is great and cool concept except there are no windows. Late check-out is also not tolerated. Check-out after 11:10am is chargeable, I requested a-bit more time and only offered till 11:20am else charges start at 20,000KRW. No toothbrush and toothpaste as well, is sold for 6,500KRW for a pack of 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste. Bring your own!"

"I booked 7 nights and specifically requested a high-floor room in advance. I arrived at the hotel around 5 PM, and the front desk assigned me a room on the 5th floor. I initially thought, 'Oh well, a lower floor is fine,' but when I got upstairs, my window faced the rooftop of another building. I instantly felt very annoyed; it felt like being confined in a prison. I had woken up at 4 AM that day to catch a flight from Hong Kong, so I was exhausted and didn't speak the local language, just wanting to rest. The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. I had made a special request so early, and it wasn't like they had no other rooms available when I arrived. Yet, they gave me a 5th-floor room with a wall right outside the window. I figured if it were just for two or three days, I wouldn't mind as much. Later, I contacted Trip.com and asked them to help me coordinate. They were very responsible and understanding, informing me they would communicate with the hotel. They later told me I would be moved to a different room the next day. I'm grateful for Trip.com's assistance this time. The railway noise at the hotel didn't bother me too much, and the cleanliness was good. It was also convenient to take the subway from there."

"The room was very clean and tidy, and having a microwave was convenient for heating food. A cleaning lady came daily to empty the trash. It's very close to the subway station and within walking distance to Myeongdong, making the location excellent. However, waiting for the elevator took a long time, and the bedding wasn't great; the fabric felt rough."

"The hotel is located right in the heart of Myeongdong, very close to Euljiro subway station. With many restaurants nearby, the location is incredibly convenient. I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM on my check-in day, so I went up to the 3rd floor via the elevator and found a card key with my name on it at the counter. I believe if I had gone to the counter the next day, they would have told me my room number, but I was short on time and just continued using the card key, which wasn't inconvenient at all. The room didn't have enough space to fully open a large suitcase without blocking the aisle, but since I was traveling alone, it wasn't a major issue. The mirror and light were very handy for doing makeup. The sink, shower, and toilet were all in one area, but it was clean and easy to use. The water pressure in the shower was also good. I could catch a glimpse of the Myeongdong cityscape from the window. There were plenty of outlets, so as long as you have a plug adapter and a voltage converter, you should be fine. Towels were provided in the room, and extra ones were available in the hallway, which I found to be a thoughtful touch. Although it was a non-smoking room, there was a smoking area very close to the hotel, which made it tolerable. I would definitely consider staying here again for a solo trip! Thank you."

"The hotel is located in between Myeongdong and Dongdaemun, about 20 to 30 mins walk to each. Closest subway or metro station is Euljiro-3ga. Airport limo 6015 has a stop nearby Kukdo Hotel which is around a 10 min walk away. The rooms are large and well furnished. It's more like a service apartment than an actual hotel. Lots of hotel guests from HK, USA and Japan. We got the family room with 2 rooms and a toilet. Each bedroom had a queen bed, good for 4 adults. Room also came with washer/dryer, convenient for long stays. Breakfast buffet was crowded each morning. Felt more like cookhouse than a hotel. Food options around the hotel are limited, but there is a 24hr Emart24 and GS25 right in the building so it's very convenient ."

"Second stay at Nine Tree Myeongdong I and high recommend anyone to stay here. Super convenient location, just steps away from airport limousine bus stop, subway station and right at Myeongdong street itself. No need to worry about pulling your luggage too far or crossing the road/up down stairs. Staff were friendly and professional during check in. This time my room was a bit smaller than the previous time but it was sufficient as I was traveling solo. Rain shower water pressure is not as strong as the hand held shower head but loved everything else in the room!"
