This B&B popped up in my search for places to stay in Chongqing, and the location is fantastic! It's just 100 meters from Jiefangbei, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. But the best part has to be the washer-dryer combo. With the high temperatures, my clothes were soaked with sweat every day, but I could just toss them in and have them clean in no time. That was a huge comfort and definitely better than staying in a hotel. The host was also great, reminding us daily not to get ripped off by taxis or buying fruit nearby. 😂 They were really looking out for us!

This place is unbeatable! The room is super close to Jiaochangkou Metro Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The building is less than 100 meters in a straight line from the subway exit. There's more than one entrance to the building, so it's more convenient to communicate in advance after booking. The lady at reception helped us upgrade to a river-view room, and the view was absolutely beautiful! 🌹 The room was spacious enough, very close to many must-visit attractions, and the facilities were comprehensive, making it a great experience for a family trip. There are multiple food streets right outside, so dining is super convenient. It's also very close to Jiefangbei, Shibatidang, and Shanched Budao, all within easy walking distance. The service experience was just as good; disposable amenities in the room were replenished very promptly. Luggage storage after check-out was seamless. It's a great choice I'd recommend to friends.

One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting. The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me. The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever. Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure. While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort. Facilities: Very complete and comfortable. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Very comfortable. Service: Very responsive. Any requests made to the front desk were met with quick replies. Food delivery was also very fast.

🏮Located inside a renovated church down a long winding stair alley, this hotel was the definition of a hidden gem. If you didn’t know it existed, you definitely wouldn’t know it was there. The rooms were extremely spacious, with high ceilings, beautifully considered decor, and refined aesthetics. I’d say the rooms were way better than the pictures. ⛪️✨ 📸 The hotel offers a free travel photography service. You can have your hair/makeup/outfit done professionally for an additional charge but we wore our own stuff. Zihao (子豪) came to take photos of us on our second day and they turned out absolutely stunning!! The entire process took about an hour and he was incredibly professional, kind, and funny; and took the time to work with us through the language barrier using a translator app on his phone. You get a certain number of free photos, but we ended up buying almost the entire photo set with minimal editing from him because they turned out so good. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. I will treasure the photos he took of my mom forever. 🍴 Breakfast is included and there’s a full service bar for guests where you can get free soft drinks and freshly cut fruit throughout the day. The hotel will also deliver a soup to your room in the evening (called night service? I think?) and it was really delicious. I have no photos of that because we ate it too fast. 😋 🧳 📝 The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a far- the nearest car drop-off point is Lingshi Alley No.8, Yuzhong Chongqing, and from there, you have to walk 3-4 flights of stairs down an alley to get to the entrance of the church. The hotel will message you ahead to help you with your luggage (and they’re extremely nice! Two of the staff helped us get our suitcases to our car at 5am when we had to leave very early 😵💫) but if you have any accessibility needs or difficulties walking up and down stairs, or just have a ton of luggage, this might not be the hotel for you 🚙😥 🌸 Overall, stunning hotel & amazing staff who you can message anytime on WeChat if you need anything. It feels like quiet escape in the middle of a super bustling crazy city. I would come back 100% if I was in Chongqing again. Thank you for everything!

STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Yang, Xiao Yi, and Master Li for their care during my stay. They were kind, professional, warm, patient, and proactive. They were also incredibly accommodating with my inability to speak more than a little Chinese. Xiao Yang even made a point to speak English with me during breakfast and checkout. Master Li was very tolerant with my last-minute requests for pickup and drop off and Xiao Yi quickly located and added me on WeChat to allow us to chat more comfortably. As it was raining, she even met me by the car with an umbrella when I arrived. I felt quite pampered! DIRECTIONS: To reach the hotel requires a few transfers. It's not too troublesome and is well worth it! 1) I arrived at the Wulong South Railway 🚉 and followed the exit signs outside. 2) To the left was the large blue bus 🚌 mentioned by another reviewer. It will take you to the Fairy Mountain Visitor Center for 16 yuan. From here you can reach the most popular tourist destinations in Wulong to include the Three Bridges. 3) Outside the center you’ll find another blue fairy bus which will take you to the mountain itself for an additional 8 yuan. This bus will stop at the gate where tickets will be checked. Be sure to contact the hotel and give them your information before you set off because the cost of this ticket is included with your stay! They will reserve the ticket for you and send you confirmation and any relevant information. Otherwise, it is 50 yuan per person. 4) This bus will drop you off at a plaza with a few shops and the boarding platform for the scenic train. 🚂 Contact the hotel and someone will come to pick you up, as private vehicles are not permitted beyond this point. REVIEW: If availability and your budget permit, I cannot emphasize strongly enough how much it is worth it to splurge on the room with a 270-degree view of the property. I went on a foggy, wet weekend and still found the view incredible. The windows cover three walls. I can only imagine how amazing the sky must look on a clear night. The minibar has a good selection of free snacks and drinks and a sampling of the local tea. Meals are also served at the hotel. The cost is not low, but for the exclusivity of the location, I considered it more than fair compared to what I’ve paid elsewhere. Also, the dishes looked and tasted great. There are also vendors down the hill where the train and shops (show in the picture below) are located. Look for the sign identifying the train exit and go down the steps. These were the only places I saw to purchase food, drinks, or supplies once you pass the entrance to the mountain, so plan accordingly. By the way, tickets for the scenic train were included with the reservation as well. I highly recommend it. It stops at the grasslands and the horse stables. Now, I will allow the pictures to speak for me. TLDR: Multiple transfers lead to a place that is secluded and picturesque and right in the heart of the mountain. That means your dining choices will also be limited, but the meals provided (at a cost) were delicious. Tickets to the mountain and scenic train are included in the price. A photo session is included as well, but I did not utilize it. I recommend setting out earlier to miss the worst of the crowds. The staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The room with the 270-degree view offers the best experience. 10/10 recommend for those seeking quiet and the peace only nature can bring. 🏞

Service overall was very pleasant and worth every penny we paid! All the staff were very polite and greeted us whenever they saw us. A special shoutout to Ashe, who was incredibly helpful, attentive and shared some interesting history about the resort and the hotspring with us. We especially enjoyed the food at the resort. 过桥米线 was definitely the star of the meals, and 碳烤冬瓜猪 was also super delicious. I also loved their breakfast, which included several local noodle selections - my favourite was the 豌杂面! A small downside was that some areas outside the main resort area felt a little run-down, and there were mosquitoes in the open-air dining area. However, the restaurant thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent and mosquito coils, so it was manageable overall.

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality during our anniversary stay! ❤️ We stayed here for our anniversary trip. Upon entering the room, we were incredibly touched by the lovely anniversary-themed decorations. Furthermore, the heartfelt handwritten message card and even a cake made our time truly unforgettable. My partner and I had such a wonderful time. The staff's service was prompt and courteous throughout our stay, making us feel comfortable the entire time. Also, the breakfast the next morning was very satisfying, and everything was delicious. The meticulous attention to detail in their hospitality truly reaffirmed my impression of Westin. I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

When traveling to Chongqing, you definitely want to stay close to the attractions with a good view. After checking out the Cloud Eye, I discovered so many high-rise hotels in the area and decisively chose this room with a 270° river view. The environment was truly worth it – backed by mountains and the river, not only could I overlook the Qiansimen Bridge, but I could also see the Yangtze River Cableway. The city lights of Nanbin at night were also completely visible.

The hotel room is nice, the toilet is super big, the staff is very enthusiastic, the heating in the room is a little poor, the air conditioner is a little loud, but the heating is not very sufficient, but there is an electric blanket, so it won't be cold when sleeping. The balcony looks out to the vast snow, beautiful
