Mountain view Hotels in Antu

For my Changbaishan trip, I spent a long time deliberating over accommodation. After comparing several hotels of similar caliber, I settled on the Atour Hotel in Erdaobaihe, and my stay was absolutely perfect! The location is incredible, like being right in the heart of Beijing's Tiananmen Square. It's right next to the North Slope distribution center, making it incredibly convenient to get to the Changbaishan North Slope scenic area without having to wake up early for a long drive. Upon check-in, the hotel had prepared a thoughtful welcome gift, including Ruixing coffee and fresh local fruit. From the moment I arrived in the town, I felt a warm welcome. The hotel lobby, hallways, and rooms are all very photogenic, with beautiful compositions that make any snap look like a professional shot. Just a short walk from the hotel is Qiusha Duck Park, and the Enduli Food Street and Edelweiss photo spot are all nearby, offering a rich variety of shopping and dining options. The hotel also provides a station pickup service. The staff were enthusiastic and polite, providing attentive and thoughtful service. After hiking Tianchi, returning to the hotel to rest was a fantastic experience. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting the North Slope.

Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful. There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead. Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming. We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch. There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful. What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back

The room was quite spacious and well-equipped. We opted for a 6-person room for convenience, and it had large, comfortable beds. The location is excellent, not far from the market and Enduri. There are plenty of dining options right downstairs. It's also very close to the Tianchi Pool North Distribution Center. The hotel staff were very helpful, even offering a free pickup service from the station. They were proactive in helping us arrange a private car. My family was very satisfied.

Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

Before checking in on the 25th, Annie, the Guest Services Manager at Changbai Mountain Guanyue Hotel, added me on WeChat and proactively shared important information about our stay and local attractions. We arrived quite late that day, and Sister Wang (I specifically asked for her name so I could mention her in this positive review) at the front desk was incredibly patient in answering all my questions. Manager Annie was also very patient and helpful. The service was excellent all around, and the hotel's grounds were beautiful. Our kids had a great time, and they also loved the hot springs nearby! Thumbs up! 👍👍 Highly recommend this place!

The room is excellent, with a spacious layout that doesn't feel cramped. There's plenty of space for movement and belongings, and luggage can be placed properly without needing frequent adjustments to make room. The beds are specially sized to be generous, and the mattresses are medium-firm. A family of four or two couples traveling together can comfortably lie down, perfectly meeting the sleeping needs of four people.

This guesthouse offers excellent value for money. The bedding was clean and comfortable (high quality!), the room was spacious, and the overall environment was lovely and very quiet, with no disturbing noises. The location is incredibly convenient. There was no renovation smell or any other odd odors in the room. It's a truly tranquil spot right in the heart of the bustling area. They provide communal washing machines and tumble dryers, and the shower pressure was fantastic – super refreshing! The layout of the space is well thought out. Breakfast was also a highlight; I honestly expected it to be a bit haphazard, given it's a guesthouse, but it exceeded my expectations. It was well-balanced and complete, with bread, milk, and porridge, allowing everyone to take what they liked.

The overall experience was great. The hotel offers a dedicated shuttle service for pickup from the station, and for those driving, there's a free public parking lot with EV charging stations. It also features a restaurant, self-service laundry, and a gym, making it very suitable for families with children, thanks to the free kids' playground and children's toothbrushes and toothpaste provided in the rooms. The amenities are comprehensive, and it's a very convenient base for exploring the mountains.

Not far from the high-speed rail station, with shuttle service. The driver was very friendly, and all the staff at the hotel were great, always greeting us with a smile. The hotel has a canteen for breakfast, and there are also restaurants and a supermarket nearby, making it very convenient. This time we chose a loft room, which was very spacious, with a bed for each of the three of us – super comfortable! No mosquitoes, very clean, and all facilities and amenities were provided, even disposable paper cups. Their hairdryer was excellent. The hotel is also close to Meiren Song Sculpture Park and the Skywalk, which are definitely worth a visit as the scenery is beautiful. If you're not in a hurry, you could easily spend half a day exploring there. 💗

The owner was very hospitable, and there were always drivers available at the entrance who were ready to answer any questions or help with travel plans. The aunties at the hot springs were also very warm and helped with towels. The indoor bath was cleaned daily, and overall, everything was quite good. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't clean upon check-in, but the front desk attendant came quickly to address it. Overall, it was a good experience, and I recommend it.
