"When I continued to make extension at the hotel at seven in the morning, the front desk said that there was no problem. As a result, at 12 noon, we were told that we needed to change rooms urgently, so we hastily put the trunk lid on, and the front desk told us that they would send all the details to the new room completely. I also specially told the front desk that maybe we missed some small items in the room. Because they gave us too much time, please help us check the missing items. They readily agreed.After returning home from the trip, we opened the luggage rack, and all the souvenirs I bought at Sagrada Familia Cathedral disappeared, which was really very sad.The service of the hotel makes people feel very confused, and every staff has no idea about the process."

"What first surprised me about this hotel was how incredibly friendly it is towards Chinese tourists. There was even a Chinese New Year greeting card and fruit on the room table. The front desk staff wished us a Happy New Year too! The moment we walked in, a wave of happiness just washed over us. The hotel lobby is incredibly stylish, well-designed, and has a grand, trendy feel to it. I really loved the many thoughtful design details inside the room. The embroidery on the slippers was very intricate, as were the bathrobes, which featured many embroidered butterflies. The hotel also has a dedicated area in the room for makeup and hair drying, which I absolutely adored – and the mirror is an irregularly shaped design, very beautiful. Even the mineral water bottles were beautifully designed. This hotel just emanates happiness everywhere you look. The hotel environment fully meets five-star standards, but there are a few small details that could be improved. For example, the showerhead sprays water in a chaotic way and hasn't been fixed, and the water pressure is quite low, making showering a bit uncomfortable. Also, the hotel doesn't seem to have solutions for certain guest requests. For instance, I wanted to heat up some food I brought back from outside, and the hotel couldn't accommodate. I believe that for a five-star standard, they should consider and properly address customer needs."

"Just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. It's not in the city center, but it's a clean, new area not far from the airport, perfect for an overnight layover. There's a large Mercadona supermarket downstairs with everything you could need: snacks, drinks, bottled water, fruits, meats, seafood, beer, wine, hams, sausages, and daily necessities. Service: The front desk can help call a taxi. Facilities: The rooftop skybar is available for walk-ins. Environment: The panoramic elevator offers sea views."

"From the moment I stepped into the hotel, from the greeter at the door, front desk staff, and lobby manager to the restaurant and bar, and room service, every single staff member greeted me with a smile and offered warm, attentive service. This truly showcased the quality of an established five-star hotel. While the furniture, bathroom facilities, and amenities in the room were indeed a bit dated, which is common in many older European hotels, the professional, warm, and thoughtful service completely made up for these shortcomings. The breakfast, once rated as the best in Europe, certainly lived up to its reputation. The rooftop bar offers a fantastic view of the Sagrada Familia. The hotel's location is superb, right in the middle of Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by various restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. The room was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. Facing away from the main street, it was incredibly quiet, and it even had a universal adapter. This is definitely one of the best choices for a trip to Barcelona."

"The hotel's cleanliness, ambiance, and facilities are all excellent, and the rooms are comfortable. However, what was extremely disappointing was the hotel's handling of late checkout. Although we were only about an hour and a half past the normal checkout time and were prepared to pay a fee, we were charged 95 Euros for an extension until only 2 PM. This price seems highly unreasonable, both in terms of the standard charge and the actual service received. What's even more regrettable is the hotel's lack of flexibility, especially given its high room rates and brand positioning. A 95 Euro charge for such a short extension felt more like an attempt to generate additional revenue. While the hotel's physical amenities are commendable, this experience severely impacted our overall stay and made us reconsider whether we would choose this hotel again in the future."

"Seriously, Chinese guests, book this hotel with caution! I booked a relatively more expensive room type, only to find out it was an end-of-hall room with a massive pillar right in the middle. Fine, whatever. But then I looked out the window, which offered a partial, obscured view of the hotel pool. It felt incredibly unsafe, like a creepy basement peeking situation. Despite closing the bathroom door tightly, water still leaked out when showering, flooding the floor around the sink. The soundproofing is terrible. It was a connecting room with a locked door leading to the next room, something not mentioned on the booking page. I could hear every word and game sound from the neighboring room crystal clear, which was very disruptive. I even asked the Trip.com customer service to negotiate a room change with the hotel front desk, but they refused. Later, I checked the reviews and found a negative one from a Chinese guest a few months ago, describing the exact same room type and issues we encountered 😂 I won't be coming back."

"The extra bed didn't come with a duvet, only a blanket. This is why the service score is lower; even after asking twice, it wasn't delivered. In the end, I just slept with the blanket for a night, thankfully it wasn't too cold. The sink in the room was a bit clogged, but I didn't bother reporting it. So, I'll give the facilities and cleanliness 4 stars. The two-meal package I bought had surprisingly excellent food! I especially loved the cheese pasta and cheesy eggplant for dinner, and the cheesecake was the best I've ever had! Highly recommend it. Breakfast on the second day had ham and cheese, which I thoroughly enjoyed! Personally, I was very satisfied, but my elderly family members weren't used to it, as there was no Chinese food at all for breakfast. Finally, I had a 16-euro cocktail at the rooftop bar, and when I checked out, the total including taxes was 55 euros. I don't quite understand why, maybe there was a service charge."

"We stayed for 4 nights and were grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room. The hotel is very new, with double sinks in the bathroom, and the shower facilities are modern and clean. The amenities provided are also high-end, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a really good night's sleep. The service was excellent; the Chinese ladies at the front desk were warm and friendly, and they answered all our questions enthusiastically – a definite highlight! The hotel breakfast was good, and you could even order complimentary pancakes or omelets, so getting a full meal was no problem at all. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with many highly-rated restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. A 5-minute walk to the left takes you to Casa Milà, and about a 15-minute walk brings you to Casa Batlló (where you'll also find the Gràcia metro and train stations). Turning right and walking for 5 minutes leads you to Provença metro station, which is very handy for getting to Mount Tibidabo. All in all, we were extremely satisfied with our 5-day, 4-night stay in Barcelona, and I highly recommend this hotel!"

From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful. The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect. Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on. All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!"

"The hotel is in a good location, very close to the market and pedestrian street! The room is of a suitable size and the design is warm and comfortable. It is considered a high-end hotel abroad. The hotel's waiters are very good and are very enthusiastic to help us carry our luggage. The hotel's breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. I will stay in this hotel again next time I come to Barcelona!"
