What truly made the experience special was the warm and welcoming attitude of the front desk staff. Everyone was friendly and professional, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel at home.

The only minor downsides were the thin walls, which let in some hallway noise, and the slow room service during the evening rush. GGuest UserAn impressive hotel - I’ve never stayed 10 floors up before. The only real problem I had were the lights. There seemed to be a switch for each one, but not a switch that would switch them off. So going to sleep necessitated pulling the card out of its holder to get the room completely dark. Also not having trays at breakfast meant getting up and down much more than one word experience in a normal hotel. But apart from that, it was beautifully clean. And very close to transport links.

SSimone MarisseThis was a great short stay at Hilton Diagonal Mar. The location is perfect to the beach and shopping. The service was wonderful. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I always enjoy staying at a Hilton hotel and this stay was definitely no exception. Would recommend to those looking for a quality stay.

GGuest UserOverall, our stay was pleasant. The room was large and clean. We didn't try the breakfast so can't say if it's good or not.
The day we arrived it was very late at night and we were exhausted, and the person at the front desk instead of continuing with the check-in and showing us to the room started asking us if we took a taxi because apparently someone else staying there needed a taxi too. So we had to wait at the front desk while they sorted out someone else's problem first, which was frustrating.

RRubysMy plans changed so needed a last minute hotel in Barcelona, this was a reasonable price and I was given a newly refurbished room which was absolutely stunning, the room was massive and well decorated, the bathroom was very stylish and the bed was so comfortable. It had plenty of amenities like a toothbrush, sponge, shower caps and shoe polisher which was great. I would highly recommend if you don’t mind being outside the centre - the area isn’t anything special but there is transport very near by.

From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!
