We stayed in a suite but the window was facing the road and the traffic was very noisy. The connecting room door was not soundproof and even the smallest sound from the neighboring room could be heard. The door was also not soundproofed!"

We had a problem with the kettle (limescale buildup), and it was promptly replaced late in the evening. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. "We felt this establishment was poor value for money from the size of room and amenities' point of view compared to other hotels in tourist locations in other cities. The room was nearly entirely taken up by the bed. The lift only went to the first floor, a potential challenge for guests who are elderly or infirm. No guest parking, no spa facilities which we had in other hotels for the same cost. On the plus side, staff were efficient and courteous. We will not be back."
