Life is always busy, leaving little time for reflection. Before we knew it, three or four days had passed since we left the small village of Songzhuang. We arrived on Saturday noon on the Yinyuan line bus from Songyang Bus Station in Sandu Township. The journey was bumpy, but along the way we saw many green tea plantations, bamboo groves, and paulownia trees—scenery rarely seen in Lingnan, seemingly ubiquitous in southwestern Zhejiang. The autumn sun shone on the mountain road, and the persimmon trees on both sides were laden with fruit. Vitality isn't exclusive to spring; Songzhuang's autumn is also exceptionally full of the power of growth. Besides the emotional impact of the drama festival deep in the mountains, the most exciting part of our two-day journey from Shenzhen to Songzhuang was this guesthouse. Firstly, Songzhuang only has guesthouses. Secondly, only about three guesthouses are available for booking on the platform. If, like us, you're not fixated on hotel-style service, don't crave trendy photo spots, and don't have a particularly authentic atmosphere, then this is undoubtedly the best choice. The price is the lowest among the options, so a one- or two-day trip won't break the bank; the location is the best, right next to the stone bridge. Even the lowest-class room (only the room without a bathroom was available when we booked) at this place guarantees basic sleep, washing facilities, and meals. Entering through the entrance, passing a small shop and a cooking area, you reach a large hall typical of rural houses, but with a skylight letting in some natural light. Our room was located in this space. There's a lot of wood used here, giving it a faint tung oil smell; the bed is a bit firm, which is good for your back; the blankets are very soft and warm, making it easy to fall asleep. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be having to use the external bathroom for washing and the slightly poor soundproofing, but personally, I didn't seem to notice. After watching a show and taking a shower, I fell into a deep sleep. However, I think what most people who have stayed here will remember most fondly is the landlady's hospitality. When we arrived, they handed us snacks and fruit platters, showed us around the village, and introduced us to various things. The next morning, they helped us find photo spots, took pictures for us, and prepared breakfast for us. Even when we rushed to catch the bus without saying goodbye, the landlady specially pulled us back and gave me some local specialties—I really didn't know how to refuse! I'm not good with words; as people in Shanghai say, ”Talking about feelings hurts money, talking about money hurts both feelings and money,” so I said nothing and silently accepted. When we left, the sun was shining brightly, and we walked up the stone-paved street. We saw the landlady being interviewed by a TV station below (she was wearing a microphone, I think), her face beaming with smiles, which truly made us feel the vitality of life. The landlady was also very kind, telling me about the local yew tree, gentle and quiet, a perfect match with the landlady. The elderly and children were also full of life; it truly felt like home. Staying here, I felt a sense of joy and vitality, as if all the energy in the energy field was converging on me. If I have the time, I think I'll come back. I'll stay another night here, feel the breeze at the village entrance, listen to the water under the stone bridge, and experience the night in this small mountain village in southwestern Zhejiang.

overall a very nice place in a small village. great for those who search the outdoors and few other tourists. hard to find, even for our local didi driver. Very friendly hosts, but no foreign language communication possible (also not with apps). the breakfast was very tasty and in our case all vegetarian.

The boss and his wife are super nice, the aunt's cooking is delicious, the scenery of the homestay is quack, and the sound of running water can be heard in the yard! ps: The stream fish and fried dumplings are ordered by ourselves.

During the Spring Festival, I stayed in seven hotels by car. The Dalezhiye of Songyang was highly praised by the whole family. There is floor heating. In the mountains, it coincided with a cold air that was extremely cold. I was still a little worried about the children's bodies and was afraid of the heavy humidity in the mountains. But entering the room completely dispels concerns, determines the time of arrival in advance, turns on the floor heating, very comfortable. Warm baby, alcohol, cotton towel, makeup remover towel spares are very good. The seat is a flat land on the top of the mountain. The traditional location of the village is particularly quiet. The building is integrated with the surroundings and the design is stylish. There is no light pollution at night, and I see a lot of stars. And I didn't expect the dinner in this store to be delicious. At night, there is no other food in the mountains. I need to book in advance. I didn't expect them to be delicious. Although Songyang is a small way point for my entire line, it has a continuous experience beyond expectations. I will ask my friends at home next summer.

The boss and the proprietress are both people of Yangjiatang, warm and thoughtful. The room is big enough, but it is still cold in winter, especially the meal is in the yard, the boss thoughtfully gave the brazier, the food is also very delicious, the facilities are slightly old, I don’t know if it is to cooperate with the atmosphere of the Chinese courtyard, if the room can be cleaned in time, it would be better.

After comparison, we chose to stay at the ”Yunhaijian Culture B&B” in Pingtian Village. It is named after the magnificent scenery of Pingtian Village for more than 200 days a year. This is a comfortable place to live in a tea room, coffee house, pottery and tie-dyeing handmade, and the mountain is outside the window. Miss Butler gave us a free upgrade to the deluxe double room ”Liushan”, the terrace is facing the grandfather's cat coffee shop, ”Grandpa's cat coffee” is a village cat coffee transformed from the village utility room, the store adopted more than a dozen stray kittens, here you can drink coffee, cats, ancient village scenery. Dinner at the ”Shanjiaqing Restaurant”, booked the dishes one day in advance, of which Xieli Tea Shi chicken stew uses Songyang rheumatized herbs, slow stew with local chicken, chicken soup is delicious, meat is tight and tender, is a famous dish for tonic medicine. The night in the mountains was surprisingly quiet, and almost no sound was heard. The black silhouettes in the mountains were left in the distance. The yellow walls of the cottage, the stone steps of the small courtyard, and the wooden windows of the coffee shop were reflected in the warm yellow lights, and the light and shadow were mottled, like a broken star. Looking up, there is no world noise, and the lights and the night are gentle. The whole ancient village of ”Yun Shangpingtian” sank into a peaceful sleep. I walked on the stone steps, listened to the mountain breeze gently across the eaves, and felt the coolness and quietness of the ancient village at night! The next day, the housekeeper also sent a souvenir Dragon Boat Festival tea! Recommend this homestay!

Songyang Yushe is said to be the earliest homestay opened in Songyang. It is a homestay brand under the Bird Collection. The industry is getting bigger and bigger, and there are all over the country. Check-in is a bit late, the little brother is also enthusiastic to guide the parking space, arrange the check-in with the bag, and the service is in place. Mr. Xu of Yushe also enthusiastically introduced Songyang specialties and cultural monuments. The recommended Huangjia Courtyard is worth a visit. The Yanyan chicken is a must-see and cost-effective. Yushe is Songyang Old Street. It is also good to go around. There are many blacksmith shops, herbal shops, and old-fashioned barber shops.

The room was clean and well-equipped, with parking available right outside. It's a 5-minute walk from Yangjiatang, making it perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. The sunlight creates the most beautiful filter, making you glow. P1: The breakfast the owner's mother-in-law prepared for us. We slept until after 10 a.m., but she still left a hot breakfast for us. How thoughtful! She even packed up some for us to eat on the way. 😄 The owner said she'd arrange this for us next time. P2: The sunset shot taken right outside the B&B. The room is too small, not as big as the 32 square meters introduced in the picture, I am very surprised that there is a bedside aisle for one person. And there is no door in the bathroom, and the humidity is all facing the bed after the shower. The parking space is at the door of the hotel, and there are two parking spaces in the hotel, which is quite difficult to stop. This is the biggest slot. Secondly, we went to the store and asked where the parking space was. The two waiters were estimated to be from the opposite restaurant, and said that we would run opposite the door and we didn't care. Fortunately, the decoration of the homestay has characteristics, and there is a balcony. Sitting there for tea at night, watching the aunt wash clothes in the river in the morning, especially to the ancient street of Ming and Qing Dynasties is really close. The beds are also soft and sleep well.

The village B&B is very quiet and of high quality. The proprietress is very gentle. My husband said that the proprietress is very much like someone from the city. Hahaha~ This is the most simple compliment. The boss's food is also very delicious. I will definitely come again if I have the chance.
