This was the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in, which was a huge plus! The bedding was free of dust and hair, and they even provided covers, which I really appreciated. The curtains around the bed gave me a lot of privacy and comfort. The bathroom was spotless, and the common areas were very cozy. The soundproofing against outside noise isn't great, and it can be a bit chilly, but it wasn't uncomfortably so. I loved that they offered breakfast! Some reviews complain about it, but honestly, for this price, I think the breakfast is perfectly fine. All the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, close to many popular tourist spots. You can get fresh towels by asking at the front desk!

The location is not the best, it’s the street is loud at night and there are homeless right outside the door. As soon as you come inside it is much better. The hotel is very clean and is very welcoming. Concierge Punya made the stay worth it and always greeted us with a smile when we came back in. Amenities were lacking a little as there is no fridge or ac but other than that it was a good experience.

The room is clean and has everything you need. The hotel also provides a minibreakfast. This hotel is just a short walk away from Civic center, touristy areas. However, the streets nearby have a lot of homeless people. Also take note it is always noisy before midnight since it is just roadside. However, after midnight, it is quiet enough to catch a good sleep. If you are a light sleeper, do take this into consideration. Overral I think it is good for the money as a solo traveler. By the way, there is a cheap Vietnamese sandwige store at the corner of Larkin and Eddy streets. $5.5 for one, extremely affordable and fulfilling.

The hotel is located in the Union Square in the city center, and the transportation is very convenient. It is only five minutes walk from the Dangdang bus terminal. There are a lot of buses at Bart station, and the 30th doorway can directly reach the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. Breakfast can be settled in the opposite starbucks. Sorry for the lack of photos in the room. The modern decoration is basically clean. The only problem is that there is too much homeless in the city center. If it is too late, it is recommended not to go out alone.

The location of the hotel is very good, the service is also very good, and the supporting facilities are in place. The room on the first floor was quite noisy. Fortunately, I was tired from playing and my sleep was not affected. In addition, it was excellent in all aspects. Recommended

Hotel opening October 2023. Designed with your convenience in mind, our property is located in the charming Nob Hill District and nearby cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Mithila Hotel is also mere steps away from world-class theaters, cable cars, and attractions! While you are visiting, be sure to check out Union Square, the Financial District, and Chinatown. Our location is exceptional for business and pleasure travelers alike.
GGuest User2025.08.22
The surrounding area is homeless and the streets are dirty, but that's typical of San Francisco. The hotel is accessible uphill. The room is small, but the bed is comfortable and the office facilities are good. The curtains don't block out much light, and there's a wait for hot water. Despite these shortcomings, this hotel offers good value for the price in downtown San Francisco.

Amazing
GGuest UserIt was great and very clean. The staff were also very friendly. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket, subway, and bus stops nearby, making it quick to get anywhere. Plus, there were no homeless people in the immediate vicinity, which made me feel very safe.
FFrench DudeI recently stayed at the Galleria Park Hotel during my business trip to San Francisco and here are my thoughts:
Location:
The location of the hotel is quite good. Although the area is quiet at night, there are many places to visit during the day. The neighborhood is very central, not far from Chinatown, just a 15-minute walk away.
Security:
The security at the hotel is excellent. It is very secure and they do not let just anyone enter.
Credit Card Policy:
A major downside, not directly related to the hotel itself, is the strict credit card policy. Even though I paid everything online, presenting a credit card at check-in is mandatory. Without it, you might end up sleeping outside. Additionally, at check-out, there's an unexpected mandatory state tax charged to your card, which you are not informed about beforehand. This is a compulsory tax for the state of California.
Room:
The room was decent. It had a small fridge, but nothing for brushing your teeth. I don’t know if it’s typical of American hotels, but I find showers without hand showers inconvenient. The bed was comfortable. I have some doubts about the cleanliness of the thick carpet, though it seemed clean. Instead of curtains, there are blinds on the windows, which I found disappointing.
Breakfast:
I was disappointed that there was no breakfast provided. Only coffee is offered in the morning and wine in the afternoon, but honestly, I don't care for the wine. We need food. I had to walk 15 minutes to a Seven Eleven to get something to eat and drink.
Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi was quite good and worked very well.
Overall, the Galleria Park Hotel has some good points, but there are several areas where it could improve.
FFrancheskaMLocation is perfect! The public transportation is right outside the hotel.
Hotel itself is really comfortable and clean. Soft pillows and beddings, regular cleaning of the room, complete bathroom amenities.
Staffs are also polite and helpful. Would definitely come back here!
GGuest UserVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! Didn’t get a chance to enjoy their wine & cheese. Contact them on WhatsApp +1 (415) 297-6891 to discuss rooms available.
Ccarrie2000This hotel feels very good, the layout and facilities of the hotel are very atmospheric, the service attitude is very good, the surrounding environment is also good, supermarkets, restaurants, and transportation are very convenient.
AAnonymous UserHotel Spero offers a charming boutique stay in San Francisco with stylish decor, friendly staff, and eco-friendly touches. Rooms are cozy, and the location is convenient but can be busy. At Jasper, the hotel’s restaurant, the yogurt parfait is a fresh and light breakfast option with creamy yogurt, berries, and granola. A great choice for comfort and character.
HHan ByoelThe Junior King Suite was a little smaller than expected, but was clean and cozy. Parking with Valet only, at $65. Getting our car was fast and easy. Children had fun with smores. Free 1-hour bike rental available. Boardgames are also available to rent.
One minor thing - there was a used and stained plastic fork inside the microwave that was sent to our room upon request.
Would come back to stay again.
GGuest UserThis stay was great! The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were complete, the bedding was comfortable, the front desk service was warm and thoughtful, the location was convenient, and there was everything to eat, drink and have fun around. I will come again next time!
JJovany PortadesThe location was great the space in the room was excellent for the price I paid ill do it again if you ask me.the front desk clerk was really kind and helpful showing great hospitality!
TTy TravelerI stayed here on New Year’s Eve and enjoyed my stay. The workers are nice and helpful and the room was very clean. The room was small and simple, but the bed was comfortable and heater worked efficiently. If you’re spending a few days in San Fran, stay here. You won’t regret it.
