"We really loved staying at this hotel! It was spotlessly clean everywhere and at all times, with brand-new, fresh renovations and furniture—everything was high quality and stylish. The staff were extremely warm, smiling, and welcoming, especially Elize and Rence. There is a drinking water dispenser near the room; guests are encouraged to use their own reusable bottles and avoid single-use plastic. The location is excellent—close to the port, with streets full of cafés, food, and coffee just 2–5 minutes away. Despite being near the ferry, it does not affect the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at all. Our room was not large, but it was very cozy, beautiful, and peaceful. Thoughtful lighting, a Smeg kettle, and a Dyson hair dryer. The room was cleaned every day, and we were given fresh, thick white towels. Everything felt very new and fresh, with high quality in every detail. Clean bed linen and a warm blanket, with two good pillows per person. There is also a safe and a refrigerator, hot water and good water pressure—which was especially pleasing after traveling around Palawan and staying in accommodations of varying comfort levels."

"I had such a great experience staying at S Resort El Nido. The location is super convenient, it’s close to everything! Restaurants, shops, and the starting points for island-hopping tours are all just a short walk or tricycle ride away, which made getting around really easy. The best part for me was the rooftop. The view from up there is stunning, you can see the dramatic limestone cliffs and surrounding greenery, and sunrise and susset. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of island tours or to catch the sunset with a drink in hand. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, but still feels relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and always happy to help, which made the stay even better. If you’re looking for a comfortable, accessible place to stay in El Nido with amazing views and a great location, Hue is a solid choice. I’d definitely come back."

"Our stay at Funny Lion was absolutely wonderful, and we can say with full confidence that this is a truly special place. The location is perfect, very convenient and comfortable, but what makes this hotel outstanding is the people. The staff are incredibly responsive, caring, and attentive. They genuinely care about their guests and even remember everyone by name, which makes you feel truly welcomed and valued from the very first day. The rooms are beautiful, very clean, cozy, and well maintained. Everything is done with great attention to detail. There is absolutely no need to stay directly on the beach because the hotel regularly provides a transfer to their own Papaya Beach at 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning, with return transfers at 14:00 or 16:00. It is very convenient and well organized. We highly recommend using the hotel’s airport transfer both to and from the airport. When our flight from El Nido was unexpectedly canceled, the team went above and beyond and helped us organize a transfer all the way to Puerto Princesa. This level of support and care is rare and priceless. We will definitely return with great pleasure. Funny Lion is not just a hotel, it is a place where you feel truly taken care of. The best! Highly recommended."

"We had such a lovely time at this resort. It is super, super close to the town and is literally next to AP Kala restaurant which is next to Townsquare. The food was nice at breakfast which the regular Filipino breakfast. The pool was nice and very clean although it’s only 4ft deep. It’s the nicer hotel close to ElNido town."

"Our stay in Piece of Lio was fantastic, relaxing, away from the bustling of El Nido centre. All staffs that we interacted with have been professional and all go above and beyond to make sure that we were okay. The room was equipped with latest mod and con , including a Japanese toilet. The free shuttle service to centre was great touch since the hotel is located 8km from the centre. We really did enjoy our stay here and definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to relax away from it all, just being there felt therapeutic."

"Excellent stay at Lihim near El Nido. We loved the location and ability to take boats to El Nido. The food was average, however, the butler service was outstanding! We also enjoyed the view from our Villa. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone coming to El Nido. Not for people who cannot climb stairs."

"Paradise! A private island only for the resort. We were in a slightly small lagoon room, there was no place to put our luggage, I recommend taking the room on the sea or sea view. All inclusive the food was excellent!!! Kind staff and the massage is dreamy. The place looks like heaven"

The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort. The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway."
