MAD Monkey Hostel Nacpan Beach

My cousin and I stayed here from Feb 5th to Feb 9th. We found the location to be a good fit for those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, even if it is a bit far from El Nido town. The service was exceptional; the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to Josh, an international volunteer, who was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. We also loved the overall vibe and the organized activities, which were perfect for meeting people from all over the world. However, the facilities need urgent maintenance. The amenities didn't quite match the photos on Trip.com—the bean bags were missing, and the lounge chairs were old and lacked cushions. Most concerningly, our 'tipi' leaked during a storm; we had to use towels to block a gap in the entrance, and water was dripping from the ceiling onto our beds. While the social atmosphere is great, the lack of maintenance and attention to guest comfort was disappointing.

The location is not is not in El Nido but Bacoan which is 45 minutes away frlm El Nido... Beach is okay...staff are okay as well... beware no network as well you have to depend on the hostel WiFi which is.good.

Very good hostel. Good bed. Good food. Good view. Our only complaint is there’s no hot water in the shower but thinking about the price, what they provide is MORE THAN ENOUGH 😊 We love MAD MONEY NACPAN

Located at the beautiful nacpan beach, must see in the area. A little far from the Harbor/ Center though. Good breakfast and very good price

What a load of fun! I really like how this place is located on the beach. The staff are very nice as well.

It's just a hostel, nothing special about the room. Just a regular dormitory. The bathrooms are OK, but no hit water. But it's pretty often here in the Philippines. There is a nice bar also with good promotions, ha-ha. And you can see really beautiful sunsets here
