Hotels near Kashthamandap, Kathmandu

Kantipur Temple House is my choice of accommodation each time I visit Kathmandu. There’s always a relaxing welcome when arriving after the hustle and bustle of the journey from the airport. An oasis amid the chaos, full of nostalgia and ancient charm. The rooftop yoga is an added bonus, highly recommended.

I love this hotel so much, they are so welcoming, sweet and lovely, their neatness level is 100% The food so lovely, I enjoyed their breakfast so much. I’m definitely visit Nepal because of this hotel again ❤️

The hotel is located in the Thamel area, which is very convenient. There are convenience stores, restaurants, Himalayan Java, and souvenir shops nearby. The hotel is new and very clean, and I had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Fantastic stay. Close to the tourist district, surrounded by shops, food options, ATM & money exchange. The hotel is an oasis from the busy city with attentive staff, fantastic buffet breakfast, roof top bar, pool & spa. It also offers massages, which is perfect after trekking. Certainly will stay here again

The hotel location is excellent, fantastic breakfast,staff cooperation everywhere was excellent. This hotel is not a four star hotel according to the Nepal hospitality...it clearly shows it's a three star hotel and all the facilities are related to three star or below. The rooms are small,if staying with a couple or with a girlfriend is fine but if it's staying with two individuals it is very difficult moving and keeping the baggage, and other things. The windows are fixed and can't open. I will say again that the staff were fantastic.

Location is amazing in Thamel, super easy to walk around for food and many things Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful And there is a cocktail coupon every day Only breakfast was too late because my schedule to leave at 9 am but it was ready at 8.30 am and two days in a row. Overall it is very nice hotel to stay when you go to Kathmandu

The location is perfect, right at the heart of the city. The view is great, too. The staff are amazing: Bibek informed me about everything I asked, from means of transport to some specialties. I didn't have a kettle in the room, and he got me one. The breakfast was nice, although served only starting from 11 am (which is a bit late to my taste). The biggest issue is hot water that is warm, but i guess that's the case pretty much everywhere in Nepal. There's an AC, a bar of soap, a toothpaste and a toothbrush, a towel, two chairs, but no desk.
