Our stay at this Pool Villa was an absolute blast—it was fantastic from start to finish and completely exceeded our expectations! They have 5 rooms and 7 double beds, pretty spacious for up to 14 people.
Top-Notch Entertainment Facilities - A Total Surprise!
This place is more than just a private pool; it's a full-blown private entertainment hub! What our group of friends loved most:
· Private Karaoke System: The KTV setup was awesome with a massive, up-to-date song library. We found all the latest hits, classics, and Cantonese songs
· Retro Arcade Games & Pool Table: The arcade cabinet had so many classic games for a serious nostalgia trip. After that, switching to a competitive game of pool kept the energy high. These facilities really made our trip unforgettable.
Thoughtful Touches That Made All the Difference
Beyond the fun, it was the thoughtful details that truly impressed us:
· Water Dispenser in the Kitchen: Incredibly convenient! No need to boil water or buy loads of bottles. Having instant hot and cold water on tap was a game-changer.
· Luxurious Bathtub & Bath Salt: The biggest sweet touch was the owner providing bath salt for us! After a full day of activities, sinking into a fragrant, hot bath was the perfect way to unwind and felt like pure luxury. This small gift added such a personal, caring touch.
Verdict: We Will 100% Be Back!
This villa perfectly combines a luxurious private space, premium entertainment, and heartfelt service. From swimming to singing, gaming to soaking, everything was seamless—we never had to think about what to do next.
I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to all my friends. Whether it's for a big group hangout, a family gathering, or a special celebration, this is the perfect choice. Thank you to the owner for creating such a wonderful space for making memories.

UU2PingThis was my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would especially like to thank the Chinese-speaking front desk staff member, who looked Malay, for her patience and excellent explanation in Chinese. Her service was outstanding, and I truly appreciated her help.
I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Ipoh in the future. Keep up the great work! 😊

JJenniellStayed one night at Travelodge Ipoh and honestly it’s one of my favourite hotels whenever I have work in Ipoh 🤍 The room feels much more spacious compared to many other hotels in the same range, super comfortable after a long day.
Also, can we talk about the shower gel? 😍 The lemongrass scent is sooo refreshing and relaxing — small detail but it really made the stay feel extra nice.
Clean room, comfy stay, good experience overall. Will definitely come again!

TTammy.YInitially we were given Room 703, the moment we entered the unit it has a very strong odor like smell of sewerage. We turned on aircon, opened all windows but the smell doesn’t go off. So i decided to go to reception desk and requested to change room. The new room given was Room 828. The room is perfect.
Pros: Bed and pillows are super comfortable. Hair dryer, iron and iron board are provided. Towels provided are in good condition. 4 small bottles of mineral water are provided. They have a convenience store “Bila Bila” mart, you can basically find all essentials here.
Cons: the corridors (walkway) is dirty. Need to ensure cleaner sweep the floor.
Overall this is more than the price of RM106
I paid. I hope they will upkeep the cleanliness and comfort beds until my next visit.

I had a pleasant stay at Cititel Express. While the rooms are not particularly spacious, they are very clean and well-maintained.
The staff were courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful — they even allowed us an early check-in, which was much appreciated.
The hotel has a convenience store on-site, which is super handy. Location-wise, it’s excellent! Just a 5-minute walk to Concubine Lane, with plenty of eateries and attractions nearby, including the Han Chin Pet Soo Museum, Ho Yan Hor Museum, and the beautiful 22 Hale Street Heritage Gallery. The Kinta River is right across the road, making for a nice view and easy stroll.
The room was equipped with all the essentials: a good fridge, safe, powerful cold air-conditioning, and excellent water pressure in the shower.
Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel in Ipoh. Highly recommended!

VVenny LeeThis is another branch we stay in first time. Not a good experience. The toilet area does not have door to separate the sleeping room. provides rotten towel, this is much disappointed.
Overall the boutique is ok, just some of the area needs to improve.

AAnonymous UserOverall, the stay was disappointing due to several maintenance and cleanliness issues:
Master Bedroom: The ceiling fan was not working, and there were ants and mosquitoes present.
Room 2: The mirror was broken.
Room 3: No hangers were provided.
General: The hair dryer was damaged and unusable.
Gym Facilities: The gym is very run-down, and many machines are not working.
Toiletries & Linen: Only hair and body shampoo were provided. Towels were old and worn out, and the bedroom sheets were not very clean.
On a positive note, the infinity pool is nice and well-maintained, which we did enjoy.
However, the issues above significantly affected our comfort and overall experience. Proper maintenance, cleanliness, and better provision of basic amenities are strongly needed for future guests.

JJWMohThe room rate was affordable and included free breakfast. The booking was actually for two people, but I stayed alone.
There are a few areas that could be improved. The room looked quite worn out, and the hygiene could be better. The bedsheet had stains that could not be cleaned off.
The water pressure was also very low. Unfortunately, my room was facing a shop lot with a disco, and the loud music and vibrations continued until around 2am, making it difficult to sleep.
On the positive side, the hotel provided two bottles of water, coffee, toothbrushes, and shower caps. Two small bottles of shower gel and shampoo were also provided, although there was no tissue box in the room.
Security felt good, with a standard hotel door lock system and lift access restricted to room card holders only.
The breakfast was good, with a standard Malaysian-style selection. Considering the room rate, it felt quite generous.
They also provide basement parking, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car.

LLShannonWe travelled in a group of 3 female friends. I have to say I booked this place due to its industrial themed rooms. It's definitely nostalgic and rustic but the cleanliness is still very much up to standard. We even had a balcony and managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks in a distance. In the morning, we caught the sunrise as well. It's beautiful.
The location is best! 👍🏼 it's just next to the famous Thean Chun Coffeeshop, where you get to eat shredded chicken noodles, popiah, asam laksa, Satay, char kway teow.
Will definitely recommend this place to others.
The only one thing is u will need a little patience when it comes to service. The staff left us standing aimlessly where she went up to the room.
