"The hotel is close to a touristic spot with beautiful bars and restaurants in old hanoks. It is just 5 minutes walk from busy street, so the place was quiet. The walls were thin though. If you are a light sleeper it is better to get earbuds. The room was nothing fancy, but comfortably clean. You get what you paid for, and to tell the truth the place is cheap for the centre of Seoul. If you are looking for a place to sleep after a long day of traveling around the city, this might be a good choice"

"For the price that we paid (it was like 50% off) it was okay but if any more expensive I would be surprised. The location was good, close to the subway station and major bus stops around 5 minutes walk away. The staff were super friendly and helpful however, the room was run down. Dirty walls, stained sheets (they have been cleaned but if they are stained surely they should be replaced), and there is no shower curtain so water goes everywhere when having a shower. We asked for room cleaning each day but don't think they changed the sheets just made the bed. Overall it wasn't the worst place I have stayed and if you are looking for a cheap, convenient place to just sleep for a couple of days I can recommend."

"Had a lovely stay at New Blanc Central Myeongdong, located in a relatively quiet neighbourhood within walking distance to the bustling Myeongdong and Dongdaemun areas. The staff were very helpful, especially during check-in and assisting with the QR code required for room entry. The room was clean and comfortable, room cleaning and mineral bottles replenished every day. I appreciated having access to the lounge for work, as well as the pantry and gym located in the basement. Public buses were easily accessible nearby—perfect for days when I didn’t feel like walking. Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely choose New Blanc again for future trips to Seoul!"

"Polite front desk staff! They can speak and understand simple English which is a plus though I can understand a little Korean. Room was clean and quiet. Very good soundproofing except if someone talks and walks past your room. Otherwise, you can’t hear anything from your neighbours. Only bad thing is the lighting. So you got to draw the curtains in the morning if you want to do your makeup properly. Oh they have adapters at the front desk!! Did not see it and was charging my phone in the toilet. The electrical points at the desk is not good for your cables! 😅"

"You really can't beat this location in Jongno-gu. It’s surrounded by great restaurants and is super close to multiple subway lines, making it the perfect basecamp for tourists."

"The satisfaction level was high considering the price, and the Hangang Ramyeon I enjoyed at the hostel was really delicious. It was great to be able to enjoy Hangang Ramyeon, coffee, and water for free. Also, it was enjoyable because there are palaces, Gwangjang Market, and plenty of food and shopping opportunities nearby. I highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Seoul."
