Stayed at Dammora Resort on Jeju and overall had a pleasant experience.
The location is quiet and convenient for exploring the southern part of the island. The room was spacious and clean, with everything functioning properly. The property feels a bit dated in some areas, but it’s well maintained.
Good value for money and suitable for a calm, relaxed stay.

The room is well cleaned, and all the facilities are good. The only problem is for foreigners you won't get any toothbrush and toothpaste because if you don't have any Korean number you will not be able to use the robots minibar in the room meanwhile the recepsionist won't accept any normal payment to buy the things normally

By far the best hotel we stayed at in Jeju. We had the suit with a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. We loved our room and the bed was heavenly.
Breakfast could be improved (variety) but there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants around the island if you want something different.
Rein Jeju Family Room with Mountain 101 is the perfect place to unwind after a day of travel or work.
This property also offers free luggage storage.
When driving to the property, you can use the free parking lot.

Good point.
1. Check-in was easy because it was an unmanned system
2. It was good to have air conditioning upstairs
3. It was comfortable because there were a lot of towels.
4. Clean condition
5. Free use of Sneck when writing reviews.
Unfortunately
1. There is no water purifier, so the bottled water provided is short
2. The air conditioner is not cool quickly. (It's very sour if you keep on turning on)
3.2 Inconvenient to move luggage because you have to use the stairs on the floor
3. No plastic bag in the recycle bin is added jade.
4. There is no separate storage area, so it is difficult to store it in the room.
5. I wish there was a shared washing machine (personal thought)
6. The shower holder is not fixed, so you have to hold it with your hand and wash it. (Please fix it)
There is no front view ~ Sanbangsan seen from the back stairs is wonderful ~~

Of all the accommodations I stayed at in Jeju Island, Scarborough Hotel is the most memorable.
It was quiet and clean, the staff were friendly, and above all, the view was stunning. The facilities were great.
The interior was truly impressive♡
This time, I only stayed two nights due to my itinerary, but I was so satisfied that I'd love to stay here for the entire trip next time I visit Jeju Island.
Personally, I found it to be a much more comfortable and emotional place than Shinhwa World.
I'd love to return to this place when I need a break.
My child kept recalling memories of this place after our visit. 🥰

It was an amazing stay - very peaceful & quiet. There’s someone at the main building to help check in and check out. Will recommend this stay if you’re looking to get away from the city life in Jeju- very close to Muslim friendly eateries like Manmi & Chunshim.

We had a great one night stay here! Room was nice and clean, the convenience store at reception is really handy and the staff were helpful! Location is nice, we had a great view of the sunset from the little beach nearby, but is a bit out of the way from the islands main bus routes. Overall would stay again!

Amazing
GGuest UserGrand Josun Jeju is great for family. A whole floor of family floor dedicated to young children, and an indoor outdoor pool which is great for rainy or shine.
Also complimentary sauna and optional massage parlour available.
Location is at the south of island, which makes the travel to the North, East or West a little longer. If you don't mind the drive, it is a great option to stay especially for young family, or if you want to be away and have some quiet time.
MM37904****The hotel's decor and views are both excellent. When I checked in, the front desk staff spoke Chinese, but the woman working the night shift didn't. The hotel feels quite new, and the lobby area reminds me a lot of the Guangzhou Four Seasons. The views are truly unparalleled. However, the location is a bit out of the way, and the room size is a little small. I was starving at night because there's no 24-hour room service, and there were no snacks in the room either. I really suggest they improve this aspect.
GGuest User## Amenities:
The room was quite spacious, which was a plus, and I particularly appreciated the smart toilet. Otherwise, everything else met the standards of a five-star hotel, so there's not much else to add.
## Environment:
The hotel is directly connected to an outlet mall, where I even bought a piece of clothing. There are also several restaurants nearby, though I didn't get a chance to try them, so I can't comment. One floor down, there's a rather large area with mid-range brands.
## Service:
The service was excellent. As soon as I arrived, a very handsome, K-pop-esque bellhop helped open the car door and with my luggage. The front desk service was also top-notch, as expected from a five-star hotel.
## Location:
I need to specifically address the location. When I booked, I didn't closely examine the map of Jeju Island, so upon arrival, I realized it's quite far from the city center. If you're planning to rent a car or book a day tour, this hotel generally isn't within the pickup/drop-off range, which is something to consider. However, it does have some advantage for visiting attractions in the southern Seogwipo area, like the Jusangjeolli Cliff. But ultimately, that's a matter of personal perspective.
EExpatI really liked the property of the venue. I came to the area later in the day because it was raining on the island. Because I was in the midst of a circle around the island, I had already dealt with a rain storm at the folk Village and just needed to eat or clean up. I needed tea and a space to relax.
There’s a plaza about five minutes walking from this property, and some of the amenities were closed at Playce when I arrived. I was also told at check-in that it was more like a hostel. The check-in process was fast. The room space is very small, but the design of the hotel rooms is neat and functional. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage rack, and there are limited hours for the café, laundry, play, and bar restaurant. I had two suitcases, so I used my bed and a MacGyver way to set the carry-on.
I think this place is best suited for remote workers who are minimalists or trekkers/bikers. I still think the concept of Playce is unique. However, I wanted to go see the sunrise on the Ilchulbong hike and there’s no breakfast early in the morning. The coffee shop is not open until later either. The restaurant opens promptly at dinner time. The shop has very nice branded things, but I chose to purchase a couple of basic souvenirs. I felt a sense of hipster basically. Otherwise, the place is great. Price is best.
Although the staff was very friendly and had lots of information, I do not feel that describing the venue as a hostel was appropriate. If I cannot get my tea or coffee when the popular attraction nearby is a 40 minute walk away or a five minute taxi, then I should at least have the option that a hostel does. This means I had to utilize the coffee that I took from the previous hotel in order to make my morning start the best at sunrise..
It was suggested that I go to a restaurant locally across the street by Starbucks at the 4pm check-in since the restaurant was not open until 6 PM. Even if I had my own snacks, the option I had was to use the hot water machine downstairs. Thinking back to a hostel, I did not have the hostel kitchen. The laundry was available if needed though.
What I liked about this Playce despite the fact that it was a rainy day is the feature of the stage in the middle of the property and the fact that they do events locally on a regular basis. I liked the interior decorating and I did like the fact that they had a library/remote workers room.
The food at the restaurant was delicious. When I did get to eat breakfast later in the morning after the hike (the hike spot had local shops), it was really good. When the café did eventually open, it was a very nice space. Food service literally saved my opinion late in the morning.
I like the concept of the whole property and feel that it can do better in accommodating the hotel guests, especially when it is a Chinese holiday revolving around an upcoming Korean holiday. Hours of operation are not in sync with travelers, and it is definitely not with hostel amenities. It’s a hotel. I stayed at this location because of the price and vibe which was quite fine after 6pm. I really enjoyed the hike and the small village near the shore.
GGuest UserThe hotel offers self-check-in, which is very convenient. The hygiene is excellent, and the windows are soundproof. It's very close to the bus stop, with buses going towards Seongsan Ilchulbong and Udo Island, as well as Jeju City and Hallasan. Naver Map is very useful for navigation. There's also a lively market nearby, which is a great convenience.
SSuduiduiEnvironment: The hotel is located in Seogwipo, with plenty of restaurants nearby, though not in a bustling city center.
Cleanliness: Quite clean.
Facilities: The room has a refrigerator. The bed is extremely small, much smaller than a twin room in China. If the weather is good and you're lucky, you can see the sea when you open the window in the morning, which is quite pleasant.
Service: The service is truly disappointing. This hotel seems incredibly stingy. A toothbrush costs 1500 won, and upon checking the production date, it turned out to be from 2012—13 years ago! There's a coffee machine next to the microwave in the lobby. I just wanted to use the microwave to heat up some sausages, and when I walked towards it, the receptionist said the coffee cost several thousand won! So stingy! And if you need a comb, that's an extra charge! 😂
GGuest UserThe Tht First 70 Hotel boasts incredibly convenient transportation. Just a short walk from the hotel, you'll find bus stops with various routes that can take you anywhere you wish to go. The surrounding area is also dotted with numerous land art installations, making it an excellent spot for photos. Olle Market's #7 entrance is just around the corner from the hotel, and during our 6-day, 5-night stay, exploring it truly became a daily routine for us. This hotel is an excellent accommodation choice, especially for independent travelers.
GGuest UserA few things to update from the most recent review: the 7-11 next door is gone/being renovated; you cannot cook inside of your room even though it has a burner, etc. and not all rooms have a washing machine (photos a bit misleading). However, there is a laundry machine available for use, you just need your own detergent.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The cook-your-own breakfast was a great deal for us as a family. The roof top is amazing, 360 views of the sea and mountains, truly stunning.
GGuest UserFacilities: There is a refrigerator in the room. The shower facilities in the room have sufficient water pressure, but the disposable slippers are very thin.
Health: OK
Environment: The soundproofing is average. People in the corridor can hear it, but the surrounding area is quite quiet at night.
The main reason is that it is relatively close to the ICC Convention Center. It can be reached in about ten minutes on foot, and the price/performance ratio is pretty good. It's very convenient for meetings, but there are few restaurants around and the convenience store has to be some distance away.
GGuest UserThis was our first time staying at Blue Island Hotel! The front desk staff were very friendly and provided excellent service! They immediately addressed any issues we had with our room. The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the Olle Market, so it's a great spot to grab local food and clothes from the 'ajumma' (aunties)! Oh, and the gimbap near the hotel is delicious!
