Jeju Hanok Hotel Hallagung

Booked here to experience Korean culture, it is indeed very traditional. The garden, fountain, orange trees and cherry blossoms complement each other, exquisite and fresh. The room is floor-matted, and it is very comfortable because of the floor heating. The location is good, on the main road near the Jeongbang Waterfall, very close to the Olle Market. Worth recommending!

During this trip, we arranged to stay in a Korean house for one night. The environment was very beautiful, with many orange trees. Because of the floor heating, sleeping on the floor is very comfortable at night on cold days. There were seven of us staying, and we paid an extra 45,000 won plus beds and supplies for three people when we arrived at the front desk. We also tried Hanbok before checking out the next morning and could take photos for an hour. There are many delicious food near the accommodation, and a list is prepared at the front desk for reference.

I deliberately chose this Korean-style hotel and slept on the floor because I wanted to experience Korean culture. The hotel is beautiful, with gardens and fountains right outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Especially in the courtyard in the evening, the lights reflecting the orange trees in the garden are so beautiful. The staff at the front desk were also very enthusiastic and even let the children wear Hanfu for photos during off-duty hours. The only disadvantage is that it is too far from the airport. It takes more than an hour by taxi and 2 hours by bus. The air tickets to and from Beijing to Jeju were all in the middle of the night and early in the morning, which was really too late. The hotel refused to check out early, so I had to stay empty for two nights and booked another hotel near the airport. Plan your trip in advance next time and hope you can stay here again.

The owner of the yard must have specially designed the garden, which is very beautiful. Service: There is an aunt who can speak Chinese, and there is a young man who may be his son who cannot speak Chinese but is very active in communicating, helping us take a taxi and telling us the route. The only thing is that I stayed for several days and borrowed a hanbok once. When I borrowed the hanbok, I wanted to ask if I could return it later. Rejected ~ I don’t quite understand if there are cultural differences. Shouldn’t I be able to experience it for 1 hour every day? In fact, one hour is enough, but I still feel a little uncomfortable. Transportation: It is very close to Olai Market. The airport bus takes a long time, but it is worth it. There is the sea opposite the hotel. There are orange trees on the roadside nearby, which are super beautiful.
