The hotel is very near to the ferry going to Cijin Island.. the view is amazing from the room. Really appreciate the free flow coffee at the lobby and everything is great here!

The environment is lovely and the views are excellent, especially given its location in Sizihwan, offering fantastic value for money. Breakfast was also quite good, making it definitely worth a return visit! There's a snack bar available in the lobby, and it's within walking distance of the Ferry Pier and Xinbin Beach.
*The coffee was quite bitter; hopefully, this can be improved for an even better experience. 😊

The location is good, very close to Bok 2, within 10 minutes walk, there is a night market outside the hotel on Saturday very convenient, unfortunately when checking in encountered heavy rain, many stalls are not open. The hotel to take the light rail/orange line MRT is within 10-15 minutes walk, which is convenient. Unfortunately, there is no convenience store nearby, but it is quite close to walk to Quanlian on the 2nd side.
Each floor of the hotel has a water machine with hot and cold water supply, enough charging positions in the room, there are many TV stations to choose from, the shower is powerful enough, the air conditioning is cold enough. However, after turning on the air conditioner, the vent cover plate on the ceiling of the bed would be ****** up a little, which was a bit strange, however it did not fall off without much attention.

Located next to Pier 2 making the harbour walk easy & nice, however, it is in a terribly noisy location where buses, coaches dropping tourists, garbage trucks working in the early mornings and people walking towards the pier talking and laughing loudly etc

The city and water view were nice. However the facilities and the hotel itself were dated. Balcony lock was not working in either room we stayed in. The water pressure in the bathroom was not strong at level 5. Thr bathroom set up is uncomfortable. Beds were not quality ones. The slippers were really cheap quality. Amenities were pretty limited. Breakfast buffet finishes at 9:30 not 10:00.
The staff when we checked in was cold. Performed her job but not welcoming.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the MRT exit. To reach the elevator on the first floor, you have to go up a few steps, and the front desk is on the 5th floor.
There's a paid washing machine and a dryer on the first floor, one of each.
The room was clean and bright with an outside window and a small fridge. The value for money was pretty good.

The hotel rooms are spacious and well-appointed. However, most of the wooden floorboards creak when walked on, the pillows are a bit firm, and the duvet is quite thick. I stayed on the 23rd floor this time, and the view directly overlooking the harbor and sea was incredibly pleasant. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from both the MRT and light rail stations.

The hotel was nice. The Bathroom was clean and nice hot shower. The water pressure was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the Air conditioning was nice. The staff were helpful. During my stay, I felt peaceful and there was no noise. The only thing I felt uncomfortable was the lighting. I felt the bathroom lighting was very dim. There were only 2 small light bulbs in the bathroom. I feel the bathroom should be well lit. The bathroom was dim and dark.

MM60267****Taking the Red Line MRT from Kaohsiung Airport, it's a quick ride to Exit 2, and then an 8-minute walk to the hotel. It's really convenient to get around from here. The hotel is very new, and the front desk staff are super friendly and always have a smile when answering questions. They truly make you feel right at home.

Whether it's the concierge employees at level 1, or the check-in staff at level 20, or the breakfast staff, everyone is polite and helpful. Fantastic service and facilities. Breakfast is amazing. Even took time trying to help our cell phone connection issues. Breakfast, although vegetarian only, is tasty and offered a wide variety of choices. TTraveler with kidsIt is situated rather close to airport, hence a bit far from everything else, especially good food. However is of walking distance to some major Japanese department store.
The main thing of note is the lobby is situated on the 25th floor. One take one lift up to lobby and then another lift to rooms every time.
The rooms were spacious, but the bottom of beds were not vacuum for days. Amenities were minimal and do not reflect on price of room. Electrical sockets were limited and USB sockets don’t work. Many of the decorations in the hotel or the rooms are not suitable for kids. The building itself seems new as many shops at low levels are not open or only at certain times. Hotel staff didn’t mention or introduce the surroundings at all during check-in.
House keeping staff were courteous and hard working. Lobby staff was not friendly. Reception was spent most of the time reminding rules, rather than welcoming. Their lobby bar is a cigar bar and the reminded me they only have expensive whiskey and no wine by the glass. The staff from tea place with the stunning view of the city reminded me they are closing soon. The ground concierge was not welcoming nor helpful except for one girl who nodded every time we enter the building. The pool staff and lobby staff corrected my mandarin a few times.
Lastly, the was an incident at the pool, as I heard a boy stepped on a piece of glass. There was a lot of blood. I cannot comprehend why there was a piece of glass not cleaned by the pool. There are two restaurants by the pool and one of them was a bar.
Overall, it is a nice hotel. But the software is far from up to par or this price.

BBelieveyongI was quite surprised to find a 0.9-meter-wide bed on my first stay here. Every time I turned over, the blanket would fall off. The room was tiny. The only good thing is the location, right across from Kaohsiung Railway Station. The laundry room has two old washing machines and two dryers. The dryer runs for 69 minutes on high heat, but my clothes were still damp when I picked them up, so I had to hang them to dry back in the room.

DdkworksThe only good thing this hotel offers you is a stunning view of the Kaihsiung skyline, however cleanliness and staff could be improved. The hotel says it is a 5 star hotel, but in fact it only offers 3 star experience; hotel staff looks not welcoming, the rooms are quite outdated, the aircon cannot be switched for heat - it was super cold in the room and they turn the aircon for you before you check in - why? It is 15 degrees outside, why your aircon is at freezing mode?

Bbrights delightWe had a great time at the Riverside Hotel! Even though we got there late, the staff was really nice and helped us check in quickly, so we could get some sleep before leaving early the next morning. What stood out the most was how friendly and helpful everyone was. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised by the shuttle service that took us to and from the airport. It made our trip so much easier and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

IIrenena FrancesThis hotel is accessible to everywhere. There is also a 7-11 convenience store near the hotel. The breakfast spread is not a lot like other hotels but enough to fill our stomach. Staffs at the hotel are very polite and helpful too. The toilet seat comes with heater which is necessary during cold weather and it is separated from the shower area with a glass panel.
