Hotels near Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen

The hotel's location is truly excellent, and the front desk even arranged a room with a view of the Twin Towers for me. However, due to the severe price premium during Chinese New Year, the value for money wasn't great. The rooms were also small, comparable to a budget hotel. It's right next to Cat Street and the Twin Towers. The bridge to the seaside is a 10-minute walk, Shapowei is a 12-minute walk, Nanputuo Temple is a 15-minute walk, and Xiamen University's west gate is an 8-minute walk. The hotel breakfast was very mediocre.

Hygiene: Very good, I don't want to say that it feels like a guesthouse as some people in the comment section said Environment: Super quiet, the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in! The decoration of the room is not luxurious, but it is very delicate and comfortable, which suits my aesthetic taste! Service: The lady at the front desk and all the staff were very attentive and enthusiastic. They even picked me up at the school gate as it was inconvenient to bring my child's slippers and luggage! A special reminder: if you take a taxi, you must ask for directions. Xiamen University has many school gates. You have to go to the Nanputuo school gate and walk for a few minutes to reach the Lin Wutong Building! Living in Lin Wu Tong, I feel like the air is filled with the scent of books! Living in Lim Goh Tong, it is very convenient to go in and out of the university. You can just scan your face to get there. The campus environment and architecture are also worth appreciating! I would like to make a special note that the two-yuan red bean paste buns at Xiamen University are really delicious!

I never expected to find my ideal vacation spot here in Xiamen! It's a large courtyard that offers peace and quiet despite being in a bustling area. During the day, it's super convenient to visit attractions like Xiamen University and Putuo Temple, both within walking distance. In the evenings, I loved relaxing in the courtyard, listening to the birds, and even the evening bells from Putuo Temple – it was truly delightful. The owner's unique and thoughtful design is captivating, and the staff were all very warm and provided excellent service. I'll definitely be back next time and hope more people discover this hidden gem.

This place is really nice, the view is great, and it's clean. You can see Gulangyu Island from the room. The host was also very helpful; when we arrived, the room wasn't quite ready, but they put our bags directly in the room for us when we got back. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is clean, hygienic, and offers excellent service. It's incredibly convenient with easy access to transportation. Being close to the sea, you can enjoy the ocean breeze. There's an abundance of delicious food nearby, like satay noodles and oyster omelets, which are great for experiencing Minnan flavors. Plus, it's super easy to get to popular attractions such as Gulangyu Island, Shapowei, Jimei University Town, and Nanputuo Temple!

The hotel is conveniently located to Xiamen University, Nanputuo Shapowei. The hotel offers free parking, which solves the parking problem for self-driving tours. Free self-service coffee can be refilled.

Convenient for exploring the surroundings, the room offers great views, is spacious and bright, giving a refreshing and elegant feel. The facilities are excellent, making for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The service was also very good. I'll definitely come back again.

The hotel's location is fantastic! Right downstairs is Zhonghua Street, and next door there's a mall with a metro station inside. It's on the same line as Jimei University Town, North Station, and Gaoqi Airport, so almost all the popular spots are nearby. The 160-degree Cake Shop is also within walking distance. The Eighth Market is a little further down Zhonghua Street. All the famous local snacks like 'Liji Rou Chuan' (fried pork skewers), 'Ajie Satay Noodles,' and 'Wuxiang' are all around. Xingfu Road is also super close. Getting to Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen University, and the beach is usually less than a 20 RMB taxi ride. I especially want to thank the cleaning lady on the 6th floor; she was incredibly kind to me and my friend, speaking to us so gently. She and a security guard even helped me find my pressed powder! 😭 I'm so grateful. I've already recommended this hotel to everyone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xiamen. Highly, highly recommend!

The hotel is halfway up the mountain, and vehicles may need to let other vehicles go first. I arrived at the hotel lobby around 1:30 pm and was told that the room was not ready. The gentleman at the front desk helped to upgrade the room. The room was clean and bright, with powerful air conditioning. The surrounding Cat Street, Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen University, Shapowei, and the Twin Towers are all within walking distance.

There are many bus stops nearby, making travel very convenient. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, always ready to help. The rooms are spacious and bright, with an elegant decor, and are clean and tidy. There's also private parking available. The surrounding area is quiet yet centrally located, with many snack shops nearby. The Shikaojia fast-food Chinese restaurant offers a good variety of dishes and is very convenient. Highly recommended!
