Stayed two nights in a row, the bed was comfortable, there was an elevator, and it was convenient to walk around the park. There was no breakfast on the second night, not because there were too few guests and they didn't cook. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the convenience store nearby. There was no refrigerator in the room, so going downstairs was a bit of a hassle. You had to buy bread for the next day. The air conditioner in the room was dripping for two nights. The bathroom pipes were very smelly. I saw the reviews of previous guests on Google, but why is it still smelly? The soundproofing is not good. The kids upstairs started jumping around at 6am and didn't stop until after 7am for breakfast. Next time I'll ask to stay on the top floor. I was told that there was no cleaning required, only water and tea bags at the door, but I only got water. I didn't have to pay for tea or coffee bags.

We stayed in an Economy Twin Room. The industrial design was quite distinctive.
For the specific room my family and I occupied, if you're sharing with friends or someone you're not romantically involved with, you'll definitely want to draw the internal bathroom curtain (which covers both the toilet and shower) to avoid any awkward direct views from the bed.
Additionally, it's important to know that the bathroom door consists of two semi-transparent sliding glass panels and doesn't have a lock. The glass isn't very opaque, so those who prefer more privacy might feel a bit exposed or uncomfortable. While the door directly faces a wall, which isn't too bad, it can be a little unsettling if your companion is coming in or out of the room (especially from the right side)... though perhaps some might find it 'stimulating'?
On the whole, the most crucial aspect was how incredibly comfortable the bed was. The sheets, mattress, duvet, and pillows all perfectly met our preferences. The decor was also lovely, making the entire stay feel exceptionally pleasant.

The service staff is good, the room is large, comfortable and clean, and it is not as bad as the comments said. It is much better than expected. Next time I come to Yilan, I will stay back again ❤️❤️.

A family of 5: the kids enjoyed the room with the slide v much. The 3 queen beds(2 on upper loft) and 1 on lower floor were very comfortable, pillows offered decent support. A fan was provided in room to circulate the air. Kids really enjoyed sliding down but sound proofing of the room not that thick so we were told that the kids were too noisy. The staff were v helpful with the carpark arrangement at a separate site, we didn’t have to worry abt getting a carpark lot on all 3 days.
Not so great: The Minsu’s toilet has no non-slip flooring or bathmats inside so hard to dry the toilet floor after a shower. Shampoo & body soap provided though. No shower curtains. Staff didn’t make up the room although we hung the tag to clean room. They did apologise when we asked abt it.
All in all, a restful stay, with good space for the family with our 2 luggages opened on the sofa. Would recommend if kids are young & would love the slide room. Walking distance to Luodong Night Market too.

the room is nice and comfortable. there aren’t any Muslim-friendly breakfast options like boiled eggs, but that’s understandable. for non-Muslims, the breakfast selection is actually quite good. unfortunately, the view isn’t great because a new building is being constructed next door, which blocks it.
the location is a bit far from the Luodong bus transfer station, but it’s fairly close to the railway station about a 10-minute walk. the walk doesn’t feel long because there are many stores along the way. the hotel is conveniently located between PX Mart and Family Mart, and there’s also a self-service laundry right in front of the hotel if you need to do laundry. overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Although the hotel's furnishings are not that new, they are clean and tidy, and the double room has enough space. It is also good to use a split air-conditioner. The only drawback is that the water pressure is not stable enough when taking a shower.
The attitude of the service staff is very good, both at the counter and in the restaurant. Breakfast was also good.

It can be said that you can check in without contact. You must first join the line and the service staff will guide the way to check in. The capsule cockpit will be more convenient for the jaw. The upper bunk is not ergonomic. If the angle is not grasped, it will step on the empty or fall. The light of the cockpit is very dark; There may be fewer people on the day and fewer people use the bathroom; there is no socket in the charging design in the cockpit, only the usb connector can be charged, no fast charging PD is provided, the counter has a self-acquisition adapter, but the effect is not good, the whole is completely like a hotel that no one has contacted, the whole is like a future practice.

A super satisfying stay! The room was cozy and spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I felt refreshed after a good night's sleep. Cleanliness was impeccable, with impeccable attention to detail everywhere. The staff were all smiles, check-in was super fast, and they even offered welcome fruit. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of popular attractions and surrounded by tons of restaurants. Excellent value for money; I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The environment was bright and clean. We had a great view from our high-floor room, which was very spacious and perfect for families. The only minor downside was the subpar soundproofing, and the pillows were too flat, which made it hard to get a good night's rest.

This hotel is 5 mins walk to luodong train station and 10 mins walk to luodong night market. Hotel has 2 levels of indoor playground on level 2 and level 3, they are closed for an hour (i think 5pm to 6pm) for cleaning. Your kids can also pick and choose the cars they wanna drive at the play area and it is limited to 15 mins play. They have a mini quest which u can redeem a color pencil when completed. Take note there is no swimming pool and no self help laundry in this hotel. However there is a 24/7 self help laundry is 5 mins walk away just opposite Luodong train station beside the motorcycle renting shop. Room is big so good for kids and families with big luggages and stroller.

From the front desk staff to the restaurant servers, housekeeping, and cleaning crew, you could truly feel the meticulous and thoughtful service throughout Yamagata Hotel. The mini-bar and snacks in the room were all complimentary, which was a very generous touch! The hot spring bathtub in every room is huge and incredibly comfortable to soak in – you don't even need to leave the room! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality accommodation experience. It's definitely worth a return visit.

We have originally booked a superior twin bed room and when they saw us with our child, they upgraded us to a family suite and they made sure our son got all the amenities such as a child's Yukata and his own toiletries.
USome of the perks of staying here is there is happy hour every day with free flow of wines plus you will also enjoy the facilities at their sister hotel Just Sleep next door for eg. Kids zone and their indoor public hot spring.
All in all more than 5 ⭐🌟✨✨, my son told me if we ever come back to Taiwan, please stay at this hotel again!

DdyhxConvenient location in Luodong city centre, walking distance to Luodong Night Market, Luodong Forestry Cultural Park with a supermarket and convenience stores nearby too. The hotel is on level 6 within a building with a few other accommodation chains and offices. There's a car park just opposite the building. I love the decor here, from the clean, sleek interior at reception to the rooms. There are instant coffee and tea bags, and hot/cold filtered water on tap available at the common area just in front of the reception that is open to all guests. They have just 18 rooms here, in varying room types, sizes and interior design but they all look great! I love the use of positive messages on coloured backgrounds for the doors. I had a corner room which was spacious and clean. Bed and pillow were a little softer than I would like but that's just personal preference. Basic amenities are provided and I love the open wardrobe concept too.
The staff here are amazing. So helpful, so friendly. I'm particularly impressed by the location map they've put together to share with guests on recommended food to try in the vicinity and mostly on point! For this price, it's super value for money.

The room was very spacious, and the water pressure was excellent. I appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The bed was a bit on the soft side for my preference. In summer, the outdoor hot spring area had quite a few insects.
## Overall Experience:
The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was decent, and it was a huge plus that we could still eat it after checking out. However, items weren't always replenished promptly, which might have been because we arrived a bit late. The beef soup, though, was absolutely delicious! In the evening, they offered *douhua* (tofu pudding) in the lobby, but it wasn't particularly tasty.

Room concept might not be suitable for elderly as bed is on the floor. Good to have more hooks in the room to hang clothes. We can’t drink from the tap in the room, and they provide hot/cold water dispenser beside lift instead of bottled water. Breakfast is superb! Love the cooked food~ and they have snacks and hot drinks at lobby till night hours. 10mins walk to train station and there are good food around the hotel.

There's also a lobby where you can leave your luggage.
The room was as spacious as I expected, or even larger, and the high ceiling was a particularly plus.
The indoor bath was clean, and the tub was very spacious, even for two people.
There's afternoon tea time from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with all-you-can-eat tea eggs and braised pork rice.
You can choose breakfast times from 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:30 AM. I chose 7:30 AM, but it wasn't busy and the service was quick. The breakfast was a set meal with a good balance of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, and I was very satisfied.
The massage parlor next to the lobby was also clean, had good service, and received high praise. Guests staying at the hotel received a 15% discount.

Soaking in the hot springs is incredibly relaxing, and the overall leisure facilities are quite good. For those arriving by car, complimentary parking is available, though the parking area is a bit small, so you need to be a little careful when entering and exiting.
The room size is average; while not particularly spacious, it comes with all the essential amenities. The TV offers Netflix and YouTube, which is a great convenience for relaxing in the room at night. However, there's room for improvement in terms of environmental cleanliness details; if these could be enhanced, the overall stay experience would be even better.
Overall, the accommodation quality is mid-to-high range. The soundproofing is decent but still within an acceptable range. However, the room rate for a Sunday is a bit on the high side, so the value for money isn't exceptionally outstanding. But considering it's a popular domestic travel destination, this is understandable.
