"We had an incredible time at this villa. It’s the perfect spot for a group of friends or families traveling together.
The cleanliness was top notch, and the rooms were very well-organized and comfortable. The location is a huge plus it's super convenient and close to all the main attractions in the Yucun area, so we didn't have to spend much time on the road.

"We stayed here during the Dragon Boat Festival, which also coincided with a birthday celebration, and our family had a wonderful experience. The environment is absolutely stunning, and they offer a fantastic array of unique activities. Even though it rained for several days, keeping us mostly indoors, we were never bored. We enjoyed making 'zongzi' (rice dumplings), bamboo weaving, pottery, crafting mugwort bouquets, and making sachets – so many different crafts! There was also horseback riding, celebrating a pony's birthday, and even 'yoga' interactions with the horses. These novel and fun experiences delighted both adults and children. A big thank you to our butler, Joan, for her attentive and proactive service, and to the super nice staff at the equestrian center who interacted and chatted with my daughter, sharing their knowledge about horses. My daughter especially loved Ty, saying he was her favorite. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant and even the staff at the Naked Retreats cafe, had excellent service attitudes. While some dishes at the Western restaurant weren't quite to our taste, the restaurant manager handled our feedback gracefully from a customer's perspective. Overall, we are very satisfied and will definitely be back."

"I chose this place after seeing many reviews. It's like a sanatorium in Shanghai, and I often heard people speaking Shanghainese among the guests.
The location is next to a villa complex, and you can walk to nearby attractions. If you're driving, many sights can be enjoyed right from the road, which is very convenient. A friendly reminder: you can't drive into the attractions themselves, so this location is perfect for self-driving tours.
I stayed in the main building, which was built later. The decor has a lovely民國 (Republic of China era) style. It seems some of the pre-liberation villas are also occupied, but I'm not sure if they all belong to Moganshanzhuang.
The best part was that during the May Day holiday, Moganshan was rainy and freezing. But the room actually had a heating air conditioner! I spent a wonderfully warm night in the rainy mountain, which was incredibly thoughtful. Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"Moganshan ended the trip by train to Ningbo for one night, and took a taxi to the hotel after arriving at the station. The hotel is opposite the high-speed rail train station. Check-in procedures are completed. Take the elevator to the room. The basic facilities are available. The room is large, the facilities are complete, clean and tidy. The choice of eating nearby is not, especially breakfast, Staying for one night was quiet and comfortable."

"Spent a day at Moganshan with the kids for spring break. We had great luck with the weather – heavy rain on the first day, then sunshine on the second. We stayed in 88A Chen Yi building, and from the balcony, we got to see a sea of clouds, the sunrise, and Naked Stables covered in mist during the rainy weather. The room was well-maintained, and the king-size bed was actually two beds put together, making it massive. Special thanks to the housekeeper who helped us carry our luggage upstairs. My only minor suggestion would be to change the breakfast from a buffet to a fixed menu; I think it would be more refined and help reduce food waste. Also, the toilet is smart, but the drainage might not be great, as there was a bit of an odor on cloudy evenings – it might need some maintenance. All in all, our two days at Luhua Dang Hotel were very enjoyable!"

"In early summer, even the mountain breeze tastes sweet! Every Mother's Day is just the right temperature, neither too hot nor too cold, so this year we chose to spend Mother's Day in the mountains for Mom! We were lucky enough to find a guesthouse run by Sister Hong, and we had a wonderful and comfortable three-day, two-night stay! Even the kids could feel Sister Hong's friendliness and played hide-and-seek with her. The guesthouse auntie was very diligent, always cleaning and busy, so the guesthouse was very clean and tidy. Her cooking was also excellent; we always finished our breakfasts! The location is very convenient; it's truly convenient to go anywhere!
This time, we experienced bamboo shoot digging, enjoyed the guesthouse's camping afternoon tea, and had a variety of activities. The Angela rose pergola was in full bloom, and the air was filled with a delicate fragrance—it was wonderful and could heal everything! There were also many raspberries near the guesthouse; come and pick some! Mountain life is so beautiful! The guesthouse has three kittens: Chuan Chuan, Xiao Chuan, and Xiong Baba, all raised by Sister Hong. Chuan Chuan is the mother, Xiao Chuan is the son, and Xiong Baba is the daughter; Xiong Baba's name is quite unique. Three days wasn't enough! I'll definitely come back again!"

"The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, not at all cramped. And the private hot spring pool, it was much bigger than it looked in the photos – easily enough room for two people without feeling crowded. Soaking in it was incredibly relaxing.
There were two balconies. One overlooked a huge lawn with a stream trickling by, making a lovely sound; sitting there and just zoning out was so comfortable and therapeutic. The other balcony faced the mountains, which I imagine would be quite enjoyable on a rainy day.
Breakfast was also very substantial with a great variety, especially the rose fermented bean curd and dried radish. They were absolutely amazing with plain congee – I'd love to ask them to pack some for me next time!
The overall environment was excellent and quite peaceful. The guesthouse also has a large lawn that's super comfortable to relax on. The parking lot and EV charging stations were clean and tidy. The front desk lady was also incredibly lovely, with a fantastic and attentive attitude."

"The homestay is near the Moganshan Scenic Area. The location is unique and the transportation is very convenient. The time to arrive at night is relatively late, but the boss is still waiting at the door enthusiastically, and he also gave his own fruit, which is very delicious.

Within 1 kilometer, there are restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, banks, hospitals, pharmacies, bars, cultural and creative markets, orchard picking, Discovery extreme sports, racecourse, hot air balloons, and many online celebrity punch cards. The wabi-sabi wind with low saturation in the whole interior of homestay gives a person quiet pure zen experience. The simple texture and soft tone of stone, clay, wood, rattan and concrete elements filled in the space, as well as some old or not old processing techniques, let a person's body and mind naturally soft down, slowly recall the old time. The ten guest rooms of homestay are not the same under the same overall tone, each has its own characteristics, which seems to be telling their different stories. We spent a few days nestled in the mountains, and Moganshan in summer is simply breathtaking. Lush green trees🌳 stretch as far as the eye can see, with sunlight filtering through the leaves☀️ – it's truly the most restorative and healing experience.
We finally arrived at the much-anticipated Huashi, and the owner was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. The courtyard is home to lambs, rabbits, a fleeting glimpse of guinea pigs, and of course, the little deer named 'Lihua'🦌. In the evening, bathed in the soft glow of the courtyard lights, Lihua would gently brush against our clothes and walk with us – it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale~
The overall Wabi-sabi design is stunning; every corner is incredibly photogenic. We stayed in the Hualu room, which offered floor-to-ceiling windows with direct mountain views. It rained on our check-in day yesterday, and watching the raindrops patter down made for a perfect excuse to spend a whole day leisurely relaxing inside the guesthouse. We even caught sight of a double rainbow🌈!!!! Every single moment here felt incredibly soothing and comforting.
Breakfast on the second day was both delicious and plentiful. While waiting, we even chanced upon some deer in the back hill! The owner thoughtfully picked mulberry leaves for us to feed them. Lihua, in particular, had no unpleasant smell at all, which really shows how meticulously well-cared for she is. There's a swimming pool on the first floor. Our baby had just recovered from a cold a few days ago, so we couldn't let him play freely. We only allowed him to gently splash the water with his hands to get a little feel for it, but he was still absolutely delighted😚. I still have so many videos to edit, but for now, I just had to share some photos! I absolutely adore Huashi!"
