JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (è«éąÂ·è«ćčČć±±VillaçŻć±±æșŻæșȘçŸćźżïŒćșŸæćčżćșćș)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldnât get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the childrenâs themed room we booked. The roomâs balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best weâve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly wonât be our last. Weâre already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

GGuest UserLocation: Opposite Junanli, it is very close to the starting point of the Moganshan cross-country race. Clean up your stomach in the hotel and walk directly to the past to run. You don't need to save your bag, let alone queue up for the bathroom near the starting point.
Environment: The villa with front and back yards is spacious and open, because there is a door that looks private and well isolated from the street. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and grass sky in the yard, and there are many small chairs and small tables. There are also many flowers and plants to rest in a daze. The lobby on the first floor is very spacious, the sofa is very comfortable, the combination of various exquisite furnishings and plants can see the boss's care for life, and different small corners can shoot a lot of still life small products.
Room: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, needless to say, the bedding is praised, the bed is soft and hard, and the latex pillow is too friendly to my sensitive neck! Sleeped well for two nights. I like the window on one wall, the bamboo forest is outside the window, and the wall is like a painting. The content of the picture frame unchanged changes with the seasons. The aroma quality of various toiletries is very good. The blueberries that welcome the fruit are also a box of washed, touching!
Breakfast: The day before, according to the menu, the boss specially prepared a special breakfast at six o'clock for cross-country competitors. The sandwich is well received! The sour noodle soup for daily breakfast is well received! All kinds of taboo bosses can take care of it intimately, touching!
Service: The boss is super nice, warm and thoughtful, beautiful and attentive, making people feel at home.
I hope that the next time the track organized by Kaileshi is different from the TNF, so there is another reason to come back!

The location of Mo Yu Shan Ju is perfect. It is only an 8 to 10-minute walk from the bustling Yucun market town. It is extremely convenient for going out for food, strolling, or visiting surrounding attractions. However, it cleverly maintains a sense of independence and tranquility, as if it is a paradise away from the hustle and bustle.
The moment you step into the villa, the clean and tidy environment instantly catches your eye. Every detail has been carefully taken care of, just right, making people feel particularly comfortable. The billiard room, karaoke room and chess and card room on the basement floor added endless fun to our journey and allowed us to spend many happy times in the villa.
However, what touched me most was the enthusiasm and kindness of the landlord couple. While traveling, my tire suddenly got a flat. It happened to be Chinese New Year and all the repair shops were closed. I was getting extremely anxious when my landlord, Mr. Yao, offered to help me. With his skillful hands-on ability and superb techniques, he helped me find the leak and repaired the tire, solving my urgent problem at the end of the year. What is even more touching is that Boss Yao resolutely refused to accept any compensation. I was deeply moved by this selfless help.
At Moyu Mountain Residence, I not only enjoyed comfortable accommodation, but also felt the warmth and care of family. This is not just a place to stay, but also a home full of warmth. Next time I come to Moganshan, I will definitely choose here again!

1118217****An outskirt paradise on the hill. Good for hiking or treking. Impressed by the Italian designed lobby. We were well received by the house keeper Teddy. We were honor to be attended by the owner Ernest Guan who make all guests feel at home. Ever obliging and âTake your timeâis his slogan . The western meal is acceptable and the Chinese meal is excellent. We eventually extended our stay to join the night party with many foreigners.

We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. They provided us with a DIY barbecue on Saturday night and allowed us to have a party till quite
If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

GGuest UserGood for taking beautiful photos for the social media but rather poor user experience. Aesthetics of this place are good, some corners are really charming. Still it is the comfort that we value the most in a hotel as well as the quality service and unfortunately they are not at the same level of the aesthetics.
The room is huge but there is no sofa or chairs to sit and chat comfortably, just the two enormous heavy armchairs in the opposite corners of this long room. No mini bar/fridge, very poor lighting at the wash basin, impossible to do makeup. Zero privacy in the wc and shower since there are no actual doors there, just some short saloon style doors hanging in the middle, letting out the water from the shower and odors from the toilet. No hangers for the towels. No bathrobes provided which is strange for the hotel whoâs main entertainment facility is the outdoor pool.
At the outdoor pool there are very few deck chairs and no umbrellas at all.
The communication was poor, mostly over wechat, since the staff speaks basically no English. We have asked twice, in advance, about the vegetarian option for breakfast and still they brought us meat in the breakfast set (only Chinese style food is available). Altogether the experience was rather disappointing. Glad to have booked just one night there.
As for the surroundings, there is no access to the bamboo forest behind the hotel or across the road. And beware of the aggressive unleashed dogs in the village across the road if you decide to go for a stroll near the hotel.

GGuest UserThis is one of the best hotels I have ever been to. The location was good in the middle of the mountain, prividing great view and fresh, cool air. It's 15 minutes away from.the restaurants and 30 mins from the mountain scenic tourist spots and Discovery Adventures park. We arrived late at night, but the staff waited for us and gave us a warm welcome.There is a free parking space. Toiletries were provided upon request. Rooms had the basic amenities needed, ours had a bath tub and refrigerator. The hotel was homy with its wooden architecture. Breakfast was Chinese and was more than enough. We requested for dinner during our 2nd night, and the staff asked us what food and how we want them cooked with their available supply. We were allowed for a late check out during our 3rd day. All staff are very friendly. They know basic English which nakes the communication not a hindrance. To top ot all, it is a pet friendly hotel. This is highly recommended.

After parking, the hotel provided dedicated internal shuttles for pick-up and drop-off, making it completely hassle-free and elevating the whole experience.

I must especially commend the rice noodles â with three distinct toppings, each bursting with fresh, savory flavor that left me craving more! I ordered them two days in a row; the more I ate, the more I loved them đ.

He even thoughtfully added us on WeChat so we could track the firing and delivery progress of our pieces at any time. He truly embodies 'delivering peace of mind'!
**Archery Instructor đč**: He was absolutely fantastic! His instruction was very professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We even participated in an archery competition and surprisingly won a prize! He called immediately to inform us and personally delivered the prize to our room. That moment truly warmed our hearts~

LLloydTThis is an older style hotel in a perfect location at the top of the mountain. We arrived on a cold evening during Spring Festival and walked at dusk up a steep path past two abandoned heritage buildings, then back via the road. The next morning a brisk walk to the sunrise viewing platform. Food at the restaurant was adequate. Have to smile at the shower recess, where a common error has been made: the short vertical handle should be inside, the longer horizontal handle should be outside to hold a towel, easy to reverse :-). Big surprise was that traffic on the mountain top is via an anticlockwise loop. When we left we started down the wrong way, and our navigator flipped between saying wrong way then right way. We phoned hotel reception and they didnât seem to know. Eventually we reached an intersection where police sent us back the other way. Really surprising because there are traffic signs and speed signs as if the road is two-way, and we only saw one no entry sign, where our navigator tried to send us up the mountain on arrival, against the traffic flow. Oh well, just gotta concentrate. Moganshan is a great place to visit.
