Core experience: personalized style choice between mountains
Mogan Ziling Villa focuses on the privacy and humanistic temperature of mountain scenery, especially suitable for family outings or friends gatherings that pursue a sense of quality.
Hidden in the green mountains and bamboo seas of Ziling Village, it is a veritable ”natural forest oxygen bar”. The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity.
The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort.
”Butler-style intimate” service, will wait in advance to help carry luggage when you check in. Dining is the core highlight. Afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite and ceremonial. The villa owner, Mr. Wang, is very talkative and caring. Dinner is a private dish with Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai tastes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is authentic.
Would recommend family and friends to stay again!

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿(庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

The first time I came to Moganshan ⛰️, I carefully selected an ins style homestay that loves my heart-YOLO (you only live once). I love this emotional decoration style too much. The simple and clean soft decoration really satisfies my face value control 😘. The owner of the homestay is a person who loves life very much. Under the embellishment of various green plants, the whole homestay is both atmospheric and warm. Because it has been raining that day, Yu can lie flat in the room, but the baby is not boring at all. The service of the homestay butler is very good. The baby especially likes the young lady. The young lady is gentle and cute. In the afternoon, the living room is very happy to rest and chat with the boss. The beautiful boss personally made two cups of coffee for us, and made delicious yellow tea for us. I was amway. Close to the evening 🌆 several of our families participated in making the ”Lixia Rice”, which is a very meaningful and close to nature. The babies are very serious, and the parents are also very hard. The first time I tasted Lixia Rice, it was really good. Breakfast is also made by them themselves, the shredded pork noodles are superb, and the soup is the soul 😛.
The whole is a very memorable and pleasant homestay experience. 🌷

Guest UserThis was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'...
The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter.
The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance.
Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP.
The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

Three days in Moganshan during the Spring Festival, the homestay is a very retro and beautiful house, Huang Qi's former residence
The location of the homestay is very good. It is quiet in the middle of noisy. On the edge of the village square, the net red punch card is very close to the hot ballball ice cream.
The layout supplies are very careful, the garden lawn has two warm and welcoming, and the breakfast chicken soup is delicious.
If you like to take pictures, it is recommended to live here. The Republic of China set and cheongsam are definitely out. The peers said that it is better to see the Queen Hotel Baiyun Hotel in the Moganshan Scenic Area. It is better to take two more photos in the B&B. 🤣
The fire paint hand-made experience is also very good, the boss mother and daughter are very enthusiastic, the Spring Festival travel choice here a year to open a good head 👍🏻

Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed for four nights in a four-bedroom villa with my parents and two kids (boys aged 9 and 11). We arrived in late June, right after school let out for summer vacation.
When we checked in, it was just after the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in China, so there were a lot of guests checking out. However, the front desk handled everything very efficiently. Our room wasn't ready until after 3 PM, but that was understandable.
The hotel has several restaurants. Yanlai Xuan and Rainforest Restaurant are always open, with others rotating. The variety of dishes is extensive, and the flavors have a Southern Chinese (Jiangnan) flair. We tried the mini hot pot once and absolutely loved it; it was a truly satisfying meal. The Western food was also great, especially the Thai grilled chicken – it was tender and delicious.
As for activities, my kids were busy all five days we were here. For their age, the water park was the biggest draw. The seven combination slides never had a queue, which made it incredibly fun! The wave pool was also a hit; once they were in, they didn't want to leave. The Bamboo Forest Shuttle was unique and had no queues either – the ride down was exhilarating! The Spiderweb Climbing area was also fantastic, with a large and tall structure that's quite rare to see. Even with a light rain, the kids didn't want to come down. The only regret is that the Mine Pit play area wasn't open this time; I hope we can experience it on our next visit.
Besides playing with the kids, adults can also enjoy a singing bowl healing session. Baolin An has a serene environment, and the practitioner is very professional. A session of singing bowls and a chat filled with life philosophies can truly help one feel relaxed and joyful, both physically and mentally.
The villa rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Fresh fruits and beverages are replenished daily, and the housekeepers are very efficient.
The log cabin area has an elegant and tranquil atmosphere. Everywhere you look, whether in the park or on the hillside, there's lush greenery. Along the shaded paths, you occasionally catch whiffs of floral fragrance. The croaking of frogs and chirping of cicadas intertwine to create a summer night serenade. For city dwellers accustomed to noise, coming here is incredibly relaxing. If you enjoy walking, you can easily get in over 10,000 steps daily. If not, transportation is very convenient. There are shuttle buses with different routes downstairs from the lobby, all operating in an orderly fashion. You can call for a car to any attraction in the park at any time; it takes as little as 5 minutes during off-peak times and 15 minutes during peak hours.
Finally, I'd like to extend a special thanks to our butler, Xiao Lian. She communicated with us throughout our stay via WeChat, always responding promptly and professionally to all our requests. She is a dedicated and earnest young woman. In fact, all the service staff we encountered in the park were very professional, service-oriented, and excellent at problem-solving. This is by far the best overall quality of staff we've seen in any family-friendly hotel in mainland China. It's particularly noteworthy that we lost items twice, and the staff helped us find them both times. Once was a small children's watch, which the staff incredibly found in the huge water park after two days of searching. The other was an e-reader; even after we had checked out, the hotel called us to inquire and arranged for it to be couriered to us. We are incredibly grateful 🙏
As we were leaving, both kids were already asking to come back next year. They even kept their water park wristbands on, unwilling to take them off, saying they wanted them as souvenirs. I also look forward to returning with my whole family to enjoy this fun, delicious, and comfortable haven.

This guesthouse has so much character! The owner clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the design. The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

Guest UserGreat experience! The package I bought was excellent value for money. After registering my license plate, I could drive directly to the hotel entrance. It also included tickets for three people, and the complimentary afternoon tea could be enjoyed at the lobby coffee bar. The front desk service was warm and attentive. The hotel's environment and location are top-notch; it's especially peaceful on the mountain at night. We went to the bar in the villa area for a drink, which was very relaxing. Breakfast was quite generous, but don't go too late, or there won't be much left. The only issue was that the dinner restaurant service was a bit chaotic. Our triple room was in a building near the entrance, offering sunset views.

My trip to Moganshan was spurred by a rare good weather weekend and a spontaneous decision. I blindly booked this B&B on Trip.com simply because I liked its name, 'Moshangyin'. I'm just a hopelessly spontaneous person. My suitcase packed clothes for tomorrow, my camera, and a bottle of red wine. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, hoping to get tipsy under a sky full of stars before drifting off to sleep.
However, the reality was I ended up sharing that bottle of wine over a staff meal at the B&B. I met the lovely and fun Sister Fen, known as 'Moganshan's Queen', and the incredibly approachable and wise B&B owner, Da Ling. She cooked me delicious shredded pork noodles and helped me take many great photos. I was the only guest who got to join that meal, simply because I was the only solo guest at the whole B&B – how both sad and interesting is that? In my heart, Moshangyin in Moganshan definitely deserves a five-star review.
