"I had a wonderful experience at the Star of Lijiang Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive – always ready to help with a smile especially 小杨杨. The room was spotless and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was the free breakfast – good variety and tasty options to start the day. I also loved the free tea break, a nice little touch that made me feel welcomed and relaxed after a day of exploring.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lijiang. Great value, great people, and a very clean place to rest."

"Excellent value hotel right next to the train station, literally 2 minute walk from the lobby to the station. Very good value, I paid a little more than 100 yuan for the room. It could have been a little bit cleaner as I found some dust and small rubbish in the corners of my room. Otherwise it was very good especially for just one night. Firm comfortable bed. Sheet had a small hole in it but that didn’t matter to me. Decent food nearby at the train station."

Compared with the mature Baisha Ancient Town in the Old Town of Lijiang, there is no busy meal every day, no disturbing worldly life, and Baisha is unique to the ancient quiet at the foot of the snow mountain. The long years light down the winding cobblestone road, and the small shops on the street emit a warm light. Strolling in the ancient town, time seems to have stopped, and the wind quietly describes ancient myths in my ears. In the hotel room, I can enjoy the beautiful sunshine of Jinshan, delicious breakfast, and tempting aroma. The parking lot in front of the door is equipped with charging stations to welcome self driving travelers. Along the stream, there are ancient mills, wooden bridges, and eaves of corridors. Every detail reveals the traces of the moon, outlining the historical heritage of the ancient town.
"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! And no, I'm not a shill! It's very close to Baisha Ancient Town and not far from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The environment is lovely and it's very quiet at night. The owner, a friendly person from Northeast China, is super enthusiastic, and there are several incredibly cute and affectionate dogs in the courtyard. The owner even upgraded our room for free. The room was huge and well-equipped, with a clear projector and a large window offering views of the distant mountains. Breakfast was delicious too. There's also a terrace on the third floor. The seating in the courtyard downstairs is so comfortable; you could easily spend a long time just relaxing there. I'll definitely bring my parents here next time!"

"When visiting Lijiang's Baisha Ancient Town, I honestly can't recommend Wuxia Erli Guesthouse enough! We were staying at another guesthouse along the ancient town's main road, only about 300 meters away, and after I messaged the owner, they immediately came to pick us up. They even kindly helped us with our luggage to the front desk – truly attentive and thoughtful throughout. To our surprise, they upgraded our room for free during check-in, putting us directly into a viewing room with a panoramic view of Yulong Snow Mountain – absolutely stunning! We immediately booked an extra night.
The guesthouse features a distinctive Naxi architectural style, creating a wonderful ambiance. The entire room is equipped with Tmall smart controls, making it super convenient to turn on lights and adjust the temperature. Upon arrival, we received complimentary fresh fruit, and the daily breakfast was both meticulously prepared and delicious – exactly to our taste. The environment is quiet and elegant, and the hygiene is spotless. The staff are warm and genuinely helpful. Every aspect made our stay incredibly comfortable, and this experience was truly perfect. If you're coming to Baisha Ancient Town, staying here is definitely a no-brainer – I'll choose this place again next time!"

"This guesthouse is absolutely wonderful! It's definitely where I'll stay with family and friends again next time I'm in Lijiang. The location is super convenient, just a 100-meter walk to Baisha Old Town. It's clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The owner is fantastic – so warm and patient. They even upgraded our room and gave us tons of great, insider tips for sightseeing. Thanks to their advice, we managed to catch the beautiful 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' view! Every day, they'd invite us for tea or coffee, and before we left, they thoughtfully prepared a small gift for everyone. I highly recommend their observation deck; the views are stunning, whether at night or for sunrise. You can overlook Baisha Old Town and even see the stars at night. Our two-night stay here was truly healing, experiencing the local culture and customs. I'll definitely be back, and next time, I'll stay longer!"

The highlight for me was the pan-fried salmon, served individually at the table. The fish was cooked to perfection: a slightly crispy skin giving way to tender, juicy flesh inside, without a hint of fishiness. The flavor was fresh and not at all greasy, perfectly seasoned to shine. Each bite was pure bliss.
Beyond the signature salmon, the other dishes were equally impressive. The refreshing vegetable salad, with its fresh seasonal greens and perfectly balanced dressing, was light and not heavy. The freshly made sandwiches were generously filled, with soft bread and ample ingredients, leaving you feeling full and satisfied. The specialty rice noodles had a rich and savory broth with plenty of toppings, light and palatable. Whether you prefer Western or Chinese flavors, there's something to satisfy everyone.
The staff are all highly professional, gentle, and courteous. Dishes were served promptly, and any request was met with patient and meticulous attention. They were attentive and thoughtful throughout, without being intrusive, and always available when needed.
Special praise goes to the manager, who was warm and friendly, making communication a breeze. They proactively and thoughtfully checked on guests' dining experiences, showing great attention to detail and warmth. Both the breakfast quality and service level were outstanding. This hotel, though, completely exceeded my expectations! First off, the decor is charmingly chic, and the ground floor cafe is a unique feature you won't find anywhere else. Secondly, our small private balcony was perfect for relaxing. And thirdly, the location is super convenient for transportation. It’s ideal for both leisure and business travel. "The hotel we stayed at this time was impressive, and the overall experience was very comfortable. From the moment we stepped into the courtyard, we felt a warm sense of homecoming. Dad came to greet us from afar; Mom brought us many local specialties to eat: ugly oranges, black peanuts, walnuts, and dried fruit; for dinner, she made: stewed chicken with ham (highly recommended, the ham was fatty but not greasy), steamed cured pork, sweet potato and pork (we were lucky enough to catch the neighbor's pig slaughtering feast), stir-fried potatoes (locally grown), braised yam (Mom said it was grown by herself), steamed pumpkin (sweet and delicious), stir-fried green peppers with pork (delicious!), stir-fried lettuce, and scrambled eggs with tomatoes—a memorable New Year's Eve dinner; Mom kept adding food to my plate throughout the meal; we were so full that before going to sleep, Mom confirmed with us the time we needed to get up early and what we wanted for breakfast; breakfast: shredded pork and chicken soup noodles, flatbread (soft and fluffy, very filling), eggs, and coffee (we could make our own black Americano); the local residents were also very kind and hospitable. Even the check-in instructions... Whether it's daily needs or anything else, the service is responsive and attentive, making you feel incredibly warm and cared for. The guesthouse has a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with soft lighting and thoughtful decor. Both the public areas and guest rooms exude a tranquil and comfortable ambiance, like a gentle haven to soothe the weariness of your journey. Even more remarkable is the excellent location of the guesthouse rooms; each room has a private balcony with expansive views, making even staying in the room a truly enjoyable experience. Located in a corner of Stone City, the guesthouse is within walking distance of the cobblestone streets, allowing you to experience the rustic Naxi style and rich cultural charm. It's extremely convenient for getting around and exploring, visiting historical sites, and returning to the hotel at night for a peaceful rest – truly achieving the ideal balance of ”tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle.” The warm service, pleasant atmosphere, and convenient location complement each other, making this trip even more fulfilling.
