"The room was surprisingly spacious and beautifully designed. Although the hotel doesn’t advertise itself as having a sea view, you can still enjoy a distant view of the ocean from the room, which was a nice bonus.
The facilities were quite complete, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is definitely one of the biggest highlights—it’s excellent. You can walk directly into Central shopping mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and a fantastic location."

"I was impressed from the moment I walked into the hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is spacious and airy with a beautiful view. We had booked a standard room, but they upgraded us to a large suite, which was incredibly kind of them! The room was clean, beautiful, and smelled lovely, with a great view. I loved it and will definitely stay again. The only downside is that the hotel is quite far from most tourist attractions; the only close one is the winter flower garden. So, it's perfect for those looking for a relaxing stay or families who don't plan on doing much sightseeing. Overall, it was excellent and so impressive that I didn't want to leave."

"The hotel is new, beautiful, and clean. I loved the cute sheep-themed concept! The staff were very pleasant and polite. Housekeeping was daily and thorough. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious. The pool was nice and clean, and there's a kids' play area and a gym. The beds and pillows were soft, comfortable, and clean.
The sea is just across the road, but the beach is wild with no sun loungers or facilities, and there's a lot of trash on the sand, even though the water is clean. There's a 7/11 about a kilometer away. Near the hotel, there's a cafe, and a bit further on, a bar, and that's about it. You can't buy fruit anywhere nearby. There's a national park with beautiful views close by, which we walked to. It's a good, quiet place for a relaxing stay. We stopped here for two nights before heading to Samet. I'd recommend this hotel."

"This was my fifth stay here, and I usually visit twice a year. However, I've noticed a steady decline in the standard of cleanliness and service quality during my recent visits. I understand the room rates aren't high, but I'd really appreciate more focus on cleanliness. There was dust in several spots in the room, indicating the housekeeping team didn't clean thoroughly. The balcony also had dirty stains, and I even found an old water bottle from a previous guest. The bed linens also seemed quite old. Overall, the hotel's other aspects are great; it's convenient and close to the mall. It would be perfect if they could improve the cleanliness!"

"We booked two rooms with a connecting door, which at first looked great with a nice river view. However, at 9 p.m., the air conditioner in one of the rooms broke down. After we informed the hotel, a member of the front office team suddenly appeared and handed us a new room keycard without even asking if we wanted to move. We didn’t, as our main priority for staying here was the connecting rooms.
He then said it would surely take a long time to fix the issue, but we were fine with waiting. Surprisingly, the engineering team fixed it within 15 minutes. This made me think the hotel staff were just too lazy to fix it right away.
Also, the morning egg station chef always seemed very serious, which made our mornings feel a bit too serious as well."

janeHuge thanks to the hotel for their thoughtful arrangements! I requested towel animals in my booking notes, and they delivered beautifully. The room was spacious and modern. We stayed on the ground floor, so we had direct access to the pool right outside our door. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect – step out and you're right on the beach, surrounded by lovely restaurants and charming cafes. Honestly, Sai Kaew feels like the best-located hotel on Koh Samet. The service was excellent too; everyone was so friendly.

Guest UserWe stayed for 2 nights and 3 days on Koh Samet, at the Tubtim Hotel. We absolutely loved it! The hotel is really well-located. If you go right, you'll find parties, fire shows, restaurants, and shops. If you go left, you'll find peace and quiet, beauty, and serene beaches. The room had everything we needed, except for toothbrushes. The breakfasts were good, there's a coffee machine, and the coffee was even tasty, which is rare for Thailand. We had a bungalow with a sea view, and it was simply perfect!

KaailuwangjianFacilities: The hotel has a restaurant and offers massages. Although the sea-view bungalow I booked wasn't very big, the view was great, and the ecological environment was lovely.
Hygiene: The hygiene conditions were quite good, and staff were cleaning the path to the room both morning and evening.
Environment: The environment is actually very good. It's excellent for watching the sunrise, and there's a beach right in front. At low tide, there are plenty of crabs and fish. The only downside is the bar at the neighboring hotel, which played loud music past midnight, disturbing my rest.
Service: Overall, the service was good. They helped with luggage, and both check-in and check-out were very fast.

Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. You can snorkel directly in front of the hotel, and there are more fish near the coral reefs, but I wouldn't recommend going there if the waves are big. It's best to wear long pants and diving socks to avoid scratches. The sand right outside is very fine and soft. Breakfast is served by the sea with ocean views. The bar street can get a bit noisy at night, so it might not be suitable for light sleepers, but since we usually go to bed late, it didn't bother us. A major plus is that the bedsheets are changed for every new guest. The room has many windows, making it bright and airy. The only downsides are that the shower only has a handheld showerhead and the water pressure is a bit low. For shopping, try to go to the 7-Eleven on the main street, as the supermarket here is about a third more expensive. Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Guest UserWe stayed at this hotel during the off-season in July and were incredibly lucky with the weather – it was sunny! We arrived 2 hours early and were offered complimentary refreshing drinks. Since our room wasn't ready yet, we changed into our swimsuits and headed to the beach to relax on the sun loungers and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The hotel also has a fantastic, clean infinity pool where you can admire the sea, other islands, and passing boats. While our room was being prepared, we had time to swim in the pool and take lots of great photos.
Our room was on the second floor, a 'tropical' room with a sea view. It was spacious, with a large TV, a coffee machine, and a big balcony featuring a bathtub, a small table, and two chairs. The bedding was lovely, and sleeping was a delight, especially with the sounds of nature drifting in from outside, as the hotel was surrounded by jungle.
Breakfast was varied and delicious – you definitely won't go hungry.
I'd like to give a special thanks to the staff; they were very attentive and friendly. When we checked out, they offered to call us a taxi, but we decided to walk as it was only a 20-25 minute walk to the pier, and the path was easy, with no hills or steep declines.
We wish the hotel and its staff continued success. Thank you!

Perfect location right on the beach. The beachfront restaurant is very good and caters to a variety of tastes. The rooms are decent. The hotel is more geared toward younger guests, who visit in large numbers, but it can also be a good choice for families who do not mind the lively atmosphere.

I had an amazing stay at Kira Baya on Koh Samet and would definitely recommend it overall. Ace and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, very well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Both breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, with good variety and quality. We also really appreciated having access to the kayak, which added a fun touch to the experience.
One thing to note, as others have mentioned, is that the beach in front of the property is quite stoney and could benefit from some cleaning. Additionally, the hotel is located at the far end of the island, so getting around requires some planning. There is a shuttle service available, but it is not included in the stay and not directly provided by the hotel, which is something other hotels tend to handle better.
That said, I was able to rent a scooter for 100 THB per hour, which gave me a great opportunity to explore the island independently.
Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, this was a fantastic stay with excellent service, and I would happily return
