Checked in overnight and it went smoothly. Nice stay near the airport and there is a McDonald within walking distance. Bus back to airport is frequent and convenient.

The Executive Residency was fine for our purposes. We came by bicycle and a secure area was provided for our bikes. The room was small, but adequate for our needs. There were a few little glitches - the lockbox was locked - some plates were left in the microwave oven, but nothing that we couldn’t deal with. The service staff were fine - one young man was a little overmatched for the work, but the other staff were fine. Overall - this is an adequate, no frills place to stay in Hoofddorp

It feels very ”family-friendly” and is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful retreat. However, keep in mind its location if you plan on visiting the city center frequently. Location & Transport 🚌 Proximity: Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle: The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the airport with frequent departures. City Access: There is no direct transport to the city center. To get downtown, you must take the shuttle back to the airport and transfer to a train/bus, call a taxi, or take a local bus to a transit point. It can feel a bit isolated if you don't have a car. Parking 🚗 There is ample parking space available, but please note that it costs approximately €20 per day. Room Quality 🛌 The Good: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality is very satisfying. The Amenities: A bit minimal. They provide the basics (soap, shampoo, and lotion), but no shower caps or other extra vanity kits. You might want to bring your own. Service & Facilities 🍳 Staff: The front desk team is professional and helpful. Breakfast: A highlight! The breakfast spread is good, and the staff are very attentive—constantly clearing plates and keeping the tables clean. Overall experience was good, though I was not very satisfied during check-in. I was in line but when it comes to my turn, the lady at the counter chose to ignore me and asked another guest queuing in the next line for the docs and decided to check-in for them instead of me. I am not sure why, but I did make a remarks, and she still ignored me. When the next line's counter became available, the lady there did not ask me for my docs and I have to approach her to check in for me. And I received a remark from the lady (that should have checked me in) I should switch the line! Super bad customer service! Other than this episode, I was initially denied the breakfast which I had booked and paid for. I showed them the receipt and confirmation which clearly stated the package I had booked for then the counter agreed to it. Chose this hotel everytime I am in Amsterdam because the location is convenient and the hotel shuttle really helps commuting to and from the hotel.

This is supposedly an ”airport hotel,” but it's in the middle of nowhere. I was there purely for a B2B trade show, so I had no choice of location. There's not much to say about room 604: spacious, modern, etc. Just one point: you could provide more than two coffee pods, because for a multi-night stay, if you don't ask for more and they don't clean the room, it's simply not enough. But the main issue was the key card that opens the room. For example, it didn't work in elevator 1 (apparently, this is a known issue, according to reception: when will you fix it?), and on the second day, it couldn't even open the floor doors or the room door anymore. It's unpleasant to have to go down six floors late at night and be escorted by staff just to get into your room :-(. Another major problem was the restaurant. For the last two days, they offered repetitive, rather basic buffets with very small plates. Absolutely nothing à la carte. Many people were disappointed and unhappy, whether they were like me attending the B2B event on the first floor or even all the tourists. Some were furious about the mediocre selection.

The day after I checked in, there was a public transport strike, so I couldn't take the bus to the airport. The hotel staff informed me of this at check-in and gave me information about an alternative shuttle bus nearby. The staff member was very friendly, which was a relief after a long journey and a lengthy immigration process 😊 You need to take a bus from the airport, and it would be challenging with large luggage. The bus stop in front of the airport requires a bit of a walk, and it was a bit difficult because it was raining (especially for me, as I'm bad with directions, haha). There was a long queue for taxis, so I'd recommend it for those with light luggage. You can just tap your credit card when boarding and alighting the bus! My room was near the elevator, so I was a bit worried about noise, but it was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The 12 PM check-out time was also a great help! ✨ It was a good hotel! I definitely recommend it!

When I checked in yesterday afternoon, the front desk was a young girl who was quite nice. However, when I checked out the next day, the front desk was a man who was very arrogant and had a bad attitude. He was quite condescending. Since I don't speak English, he kept helping other people and ignored me. Several times I asked him questions, and he just said he didn't know, couldn't do it, or no, without any consideration for the guest's feelings. I don't recommend this place. Also, when paying the city tax at the hotel, it's very inconvenient; they only accept Visa cards, no cash, WeChat Pay, Alipay, or even UnionPay cards are allowed, and UnionPay credit cards can't be swiped. A tourist city shouldn't be like this.

The good: -The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. -On site parking (25€/night). The bad: -As you enter this establishment, there is a big sign saying that we need to help the hotel reduce their carbon footprint by asking the staff not to clean our room. To go with the text there is a picture of a sad looking polar bear (of course, always the polar bear). I'm wondering, if my room is not cleaned, do I pay a cheaper rate, because cleaning is included in the price? If not, I'm wondering if this hotel has joined the climate cult just because it's a great way to gain money. Make people feel guilty about having a clean room, and you need less cleaning staff , less cleaning products, less time….

We stayed 3 nights at the Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol. Hotel is relatively quiet. The Moxy shares a shuttle with NH Hotel. For the shuttle to the airport, payment is expected via a chip per person which can be obtained from reception and booking has to be made. It costs €4 per person who is not a Marriott Bonvoy member or €3.5 for members. It is free from the airport to the hotel. There is no fridge, coffee or tea making facilities. We had to place a deposit of €90 on check in. Free coffee available in the morning only as the grab and go. No bottle water given as tap water is drinkable.

Dit hotel is pas overgenomen en de nieuwe eigenaar en zijn vriendin zijn twee fijne mensen. Zij denken met je mee en zijn erg gastvrij. Zij hebben ons bijzonder goed ontvangen.
