Plus, there's a McDonald's right across the street, which is a big bonus! We'll definitely choose to stay here again next time, it's our top pick.

It feels very ”family-friendly” and is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful retreat. However, keep in mind its location if you plan on visiting the city center frequently. Location & Transport 🚌 Proximity: Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle: The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the airport with frequent departures. City Access: There is no direct transport to the city center. To get downtown, you must take the shuttle back to the airport and transfer to a train/bus, call a taxi, or take a local bus to a transit point. It can feel a bit isolated if you don't have a car. Parking 🚗 There is ample parking space available, but please note that it costs approximately €20 per day. Room Quality 🛌 The Good: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality is very satisfying. The Amenities: A bit minimal. They provide the basics (soap, shampoo, and lotion), but no shower caps or other extra vanity kits. You might want to bring your own. Service & Facilities 🍳 Staff: The front desk team is professional and helpful. Breakfast: A highlight! The breakfast spread is good, and the staff are very attentive—constantly clearing plates and keeping the tables clean. The day after I checked in, there was a public transport strike, so I couldn't take the bus to the airport. The hotel staff informed me of this at check-in and gave me information about an alternative shuttle bus nearby. The staff member was very friendly, which was a relief after a long journey and a lengthy immigration process 😊 You need to take a bus from the airport, and it would be challenging with large luggage. The bus stop in front of the airport requires a bit of a walk, and it was a bit difficult because it was raining (especially for me, as I'm bad with directions, haha). There was a long queue for taxis, so I'd recommend it for those with light luggage. You can just tap your credit card when boarding and alighting the bus! My room was near the elevator, so I was a bit worried about noise, but it was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The 12 PM check-out time was also a great help! ✨ It was a good hotel! I definitely recommend it!

The room was great, very clean and tidy, and quite spacious. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was also pretty good. My only minor complaint is that the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, but other than that, everything was fine.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel. It's only a few minutes' drive from the airport, and the hotel is located in a quiet suburban area. However, getting to the city center takes about half an hour by car. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, well-maintained, and comfortable, as it just opened in 2026. The service was excellent! I would definitely consider staying here again!

Not coming back. Everything felt cheap. No fridge in the room, almost no water power from the shower, The bed was too hard (I woke up with back pain two hours early), power socket for hairdryer unreachable, charge for leaving the luggage behind for a few hours, it's absurd!!! unfriendly short tempered staff at checkout. I must say one point, the location was good, easy approach to the station. And 10mins walk to the centre of Hoofdorp.

The good: -The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. -On site parking (25€/night). The bad: -As you enter this establishment, there is a big sign saying that we need to help the hotel reduce their carbon footprint by asking the staff not to clean our room. To go with the text there is a picture of a sad looking polar bear (of course, always the polar bear). I'm wondering, if my room is not cleaned, do I pay a cheaper rate, because cleaning is included in the price? If not, I'm wondering if this hotel has joined the climate cult just because it's a great way to gain money. Make people feel guilty about having a clean room, and you need less cleaning staff , less cleaning products, less time….

We stayed 3 nights at the Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol. Hotel is relatively quiet. The Moxy shares a shuttle with NH Hotel. For the shuttle to the airport, payment is expected via a chip per person which can be obtained from reception and booking has to be made. It costs €4 per person who is not a Marriott Bonvoy member or €3.5 for members. It is free from the airport to the hotel. There is no fridge, coffee or tea making facilities. We had to place a deposit of €90 on check in. Free coffee available in the morning only as the grab and go. No bottle water given as tap water is drinkable.

All in all, pretty good. We were looking for an affordable, last-minute room near Keukenhof during the long May 1st weekend. Everything was quite standard and a bit dated, but clean, and it served its purpose. The staff was very friendly! The parking situation is actually great; we just had the bad luck of arriving in the evening while a wedding was happening in the event hall downstairs. This meant there were no parking spaces left, but I think that was a special circumstance. We just parked on the grass, like many others, so it wasn't a problem in the end.
