"The hotel's location is unbeatable, right above the JR station, which is super convenient. Takashimaya is right next door and directly connected to the hotel building, making travel incredibly easy! Although we booked the largest room, it didn't feel that big, possibly because of a pillar in a corner of the room. The curtains in the room had to be pulled manually, which felt a bit outdated. Finally, I have to complain about the hotel's terrible soundproofing. Even though we were placed on the highest floor, our room was in the worst possible spot, directly facing the blower of the building across the street. It was running 24 hours a day and was incredibly noisy, especially at night, making it very difficult to sleep. For such a high-end hotel, the soundproofing was surprisingly poor… The hotel later offered to move us to a quieter room on the other side, but we had several suitcases unpacked, and it was too much hassle to repack, so we declined. We had already requested a quiet room when checking in, yet we were still given a noisy room directly facing the blower. I wonder if this was directed at Chinese tourists or the Ctrip platform."

"The hotel is conveniently connected to one of the exits of Nagoya Station, which was a huge plus for us on both sunny and rainy days—especially since it rained during part of our stay! I stayed at this hotel twice: once when I first arrived in Nagoya, and again after returning from a 2D1N trip outside the city before flying home. I'm so glad I chose Mitsui both times! As all the guest rooms are located above the 18th floor, the views were fantastic. From our room, we enjoyed a beautiful bird's-eye view of Nagoya City. In fact, I almost felt like I didn't need to visit the observation deck on the 51st floor of JR Central Towers to enjoy the city skyline! The service was excellent as well. The hotel kindly stored our luggage while we were away on our overnight trip. When we returned to check in for our second stay, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our luggage had already been moved to our room without us even having to ask. A big thank you to the staff for being so attentive and proactive in preparing everything before we arrived. Besides its excellent location next to Nagoya Station, there is a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel. There's also a Mister Donut across the road, where we grabbed breakfast and snacks before heading out each day. Overall, I honestly have nothing to complain about. The location, service, and comfort all exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya."

"The hotel is super good and we love it😙😙. We stayed there 3 nights for our grad trip 🧑🎓. The location is excellent, closed to Sakae station, there is a lot of convenience stores around. Staff was nice and service was good, the room is clean and have good sound proof. Bonus points for self laundry facility and the luggage weighing scale. ❤️❤️❤️ Definitely will choose again for sure. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💯"

The cleanliness wasn't ideal; the housekeeping staff seemed to cut corners, and dirty towels and sheets were often overlooked. Still, for the price, it offers good value for money."

"I had a fantastic stay at ibis Styles Nagoya! The first thing that hits us is the cool, industrial market-themed design. It’s very photogenic and a nice break from standard business hotels. The location is perfect; it’s an easy 8–10 minute walk from Nagoya Station and right next to the Yanagibashi Central Market, which is great for morning exploration. The room is a bit compact but incredibly smart with their layout. Highly recommend for anyone who wants style without the massive price tag."

"Although this hotel isn’t directly next to Nagoya Station, it only takes a 15-minute walk to get there. The guest room is spacious, cosy and clean. A thoughtful touch—the hotel supply steam eye masks and foot masks for guests! All the staff members are polite and warm during our stay. Overall a wonderful experience here. "The biggest plus is the location. As a solo female traveler visiting Nagoya for the first time, I felt very safe. It's only a few minutes' walk from Nagoya Station, and there's an LV store right downstairs. The area reminds me a bit of the shops above Guangzhou's Taikoo Hui. There are plenty of dining options nearby too. However, I had to request housekeeping; my room wasn't cleaned until the fourth day. I later found out it was because I hadn't hung the 'please clean' sign on the door. Other than that, everything else was fine. Hotels in Japan at this price point tend to be on the smaller side. The complimentary breakfast from the bakery downstairs was nice – a donut, a croissant, and a drink every day. It's definitely better value than buying it separately. If you're traveling solo and prioritize safety and convenience, this hotel is a great choice."
