Hotels with WiFi in Cambridge

A dream hotel! This was my absolute favorite hotel during my UK trip, bar none. The rooms are exquisite. We booked two rooms this time, a loft suite and a king room. The price difference wasn't huge, but the suite was incredible – it had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, it was fantastic. The air conditioning worked great, and the breakfast was delicious. It's about 1km from Cambridge University, easily accessible. There are temporary parking spots out front, and overnight parking in the basement, so no worries there. Two points for domestic travelers to note: 1. The EV charging station app in the basement cannot be downloaded or used by iPhones in mainland China or Hong Kong. Friends with electric cars should be aware of this. 2. The immediate area isn't particularly safe. When I went to the supermarket, I noticed that the people around seemed a bit questionable, especially if you go further north. For those concerned about safety, just avoid wandering around the area at night. The hotel itself is excellent and meets most needs.

This is also a very good hotel. The front desk service was excellent. Initially, there was an issue with the air conditioning in my room – it couldn't be manually adjusted. I informed the front desk, and they immediately moved me to a new room. The AC in the new room worked perfectly, making my stay very comfortable. Thumbs up for the service! The breakfast was good. My favorite dishes were replenished constantly, and the fish was delicious. The coffee was also nice. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable.

The hotel is a 15-20 minute drive from Cambridge. There's a gas station and a large supermarket next door with a good selection of items. Breakfast is standard, a typical English breakfast. The car park is spacious, perfect for those traveling by car, and the rooms are quite new.

The Ashley Hotel is conveniently located north of the city center, very close to Cambridge University, making it easy to get around. It boasts pleasant surroundings, a full range of well-maintained facilities, and excellent service. Overall, it offers great value for money.

We had a lovely room. Excellent location to travel to Duxford air museum, or for train into Cambridge. We were driving, so paid £10 for overnight parking. Thought this was ok, as if we'd not had car then we'd have had benefit of not incurring that charge. The breakfast was ok. The service at breakfast though was really poor, not I think down to the staff who were on, but the lack of staff, thus a management issue perhaps. When we went into breakfast there wasn't a single clean available table. We had to move used things from one, cleaned table myself. We were in there about 20 minutes, and I saw the items that had been left on other tables stayed there, and those I'd moved stayed too. There wasn't enough cutlery out - I asked for more, and heard others doing the same later. It felt chaotic. Just not staffed well enough - the receptionist was helping out too with breakfast. Though the room was good in terms of its facilities, size, cleanliness, the shower had a big problem. It was a wet room, which was fine, but weirdly the floor seemed to slant the wrong way (I later realised) as the water from the shower spread across the entire bathroom, soaked my clothes that I'd left at the furthest point away (nowhere to put them than on the floor), and almost went under the door into the room itself. I just realised what was happening in time. There wasn't one of those floor wipers you often get in a wet room to wipe the floor, so though it did slowly go down the plug hole, the whole bathroom floor was left very wet, and I had to use towels to dry it a bit. I mentioned it to the receptionist as a complaint; she just said she would pass it on. A nice hotel in a good location, the issues I mention hopefully will get sorted. I would stay again, but now forewarned.

Breakfast is average, it is normal, nothing special. The room is too small, and it is rare to live in such a small room at this price. There is a chair in the room, and it is necessary to find a waiter to give another chair. From the picture posted on the door, we stayed in the smallest room in the whole hotel. Really unhappy.

I have stayed here many times and really enjoyed my stay but this time not so great there was a huge gap under the door letting in loads of light from the corridor so had to roll a towel up the block the gap. There is normally spare pillows but not this time we had 2 very flat pillows so did not get a good sleep at all

This was my second stay at the hotel in a single room 114. I decided to stay again as it was very good value and a fairy short walk into Cambridge. I had a different single room than before and it was Ok. It had a decent shower and a comfortable bed. I was very cosy. The room had T and coffee facilities, and a T pot that I greatly appreciated during my last stay. I had a better view in this single room which was nice. It is a short walk to the shops, bus stop and the museums. As I was visiting cultural venues it’s a great positioned hotel not far from The Cambridge Museum and the Castle. I really liked staying in this hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was very good value with really good ham, fresh fruit and yoghurts, nice muffins ext. there is plenty of spaces available to relax in the hotel. If you like 90s retro the spaces are great! The staff were very helpful and I stowed luggage so that I could visit Cambridge. It’s a great value hotel for solo travellers so please keep a good price for us! A very good stay here I will be back. So likable I extended. The location score only applies if you have a vehicle. It’s a truck highway stop with a petrol station, EV car chargers and a large food court containing multiple outlets. If you don’t have a vehicle it’s an uber or long walk to public transport. The hotel itself is functional with accommodating staff. Ive wasted 10 mins of my life trying to upload photos of the EV charging station. It exists and is a plus for the hotel.
