"Hello everyone! I'm from *****, Hubei. This hotel is in Paris's 16th arrondissement, which is considered a wealthy area and relatively safe. Honestly, I haven't encountered any pickpockets during my stay. There's a convenience store nearby, a McDonald's across the street, and the metro station is right downstairs, along with an ATM. Everything you need for food and drink is right here – the amenities are absolutely amazing! You can get to the Louvre pretty quickly by taking Line 9 and then transferring to Line 1. It's an excellent choice! Before checking in, I asked for a room with a good view, and they were also able to store my luggage for me before check-in time. The French lady at the front desk downstairs was very friendly. Highly recommend!"

"Recommended by Doubao and booked via Trip.com. It's very convenient to get around; you can see the Eiffel Tower right outside, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to the Seine River. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk service was good, and the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. If you don't mind walking, you can stroll along the Seine River for 4.8 km to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the old train station, and more."

"Barebones hotel for those who want to travel on a budget but don't want to stay in hostels/share a room with others. Comes with a bed, bathroom, small desk, TV and small closet. There's stuff like ~5 hangers, a hair dryers etc. but they also lack some basics like toiletries (you only have a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel; no toothbrush, shaving kit, etc.) and slippers. Service was adequate and 24/7 so that's a plus."

"I enjoyed our stay and can’t really complain however the night staff very rude and not helpful whatsoever we were having problem with our lights in the room not turning off and we called reception for then to be told at 12am it’s not his problem and his not a technician and hung up the phone we then went downstairs to explain that we can’t sleep with the light not off and can’t be very safe as can over heat. He then was very rudely telling us that not what he’s there for an nothing he can do I said I paid to stay somewhere where I should be able to ask for help and he then laughed and had a friend on the phone who was also laughing very unprofessional he then came up to check and removed the lightbulb which was still glowing in his hand and made us feel like complete ****** !!! When I told the receptionist in the mornin about this she didn’t see interested to say the least. Customer service from both night shift and this morning shift 0/10. Other than that an alright stay"

Located in the heart of Paris, Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile offers panoramic views of the city and modern accommodations. The hotel features contemporary rooms, a 24-hour fitness center, a bar, dining facilities, and room service. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and dedicated spaces for meetings and events.

"This hotel is part of the Palais des Congrès de Paris complex, and it's one of the few high-rise buildings in the city. From my 8th-floor room facing south, I could see both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Getting to the metro is super convenient; you can walk directly through the convention center, which is a huge plus in often rainy Paris. The breakfast was incredibly rich, offering rice, omelets, stir-fried vegetables, and over five kinds of fruit, plus hazelnut chocolate. The room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. Just a heads-up, Montmartre Hill, as shown in some photos, isn't actually visible – I had to stick my phone out the window to capture it. Now, a special warning about the taxis right outside the hotel. They are dishonest, so be careful. Taxis from Charles de Gaulle Airport to central Paris have a fixed zone-based fare: 65 euros for the Left Bank and 56 euros for the Right Bank. If you order a taxi via an app or phone, there's an additional 4-euro booking fee. We took a taxi from the hotel, which is on the Right Bank. The concierge confirmed the fixed fare would be 56 euros. However, after hailing a taxi right outside, the driver tried to charge us 65 euros (the Left Bank rate) plus a 4-euro booking fee upon arrival at the airport. After a lengthy argument, and even calling the hotel, the driver finally charged 56 euros plus the 4-euro booking fee. So, even after arguing, we still ended up paying the extra booking fee. "Atelier Hotel is very clean and compact but it has very thing you need. The location is not far from places of interest and still need to take Metro trains to get there, however the hotel is right next to Pernety Station. The receptionist I had was very helpful and friendly and show me a couple of places for lunch and dinner. I had a super long flight from Australia for about 24 hours and arrived a bit earlier than the normal 3 pm checkin, but receptionist is ok for me to checkin and I was very fortunate and grateful for that - good way to win customers heart!"

The Best Western Nouvel Orléans Montparnasse close to the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-Des-pres, in a typically lively Parisian area and not far from the Montparnasse railway station. With the metro station as well as the subway RER on the doorstep, the Best Western Nouvel Orléans Montparnasse is a good base for visiting Paris. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, tub and shower, mini-bar, in-room safe, cable television, Internet access, hairdryer and are soundproofed.

"Nice hotel, good service, the location is perfect, near a metro station, not far away from every main attraction, even by foot (we went to Notre-Dame and it took us 45 minutes). The area it self has many restaurants and bakerys, and it isnvery friendly and welcoming for tourists. I liked also the hotel staff which was polite and useful. The only thing about the hotel that I disliked eas the size of the room whuce was pretty small."

Excellent hotel! I found it completely by chance, but it turned out to be the best choice I could have made. The value for money is perfect — everything is at a very high level. The room was clean, neat, and cozy, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. A special highlight was the beautiful balcony with a lovely view over the city. The staff were very friendly, and the room service was truly excellent — fast, polite, and efficient. The location is perfect: there are plenty of cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and shops nearby, the metro is just a couple of steps away, and you can even walk to the Eiffel Tower. I am extremely satisfied with my stay and would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Hôtel Montcalm Paris for their outstanding service. Highly recommended — I will definitely come back again!

The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job each day, and the front desk team is consistently friendly and professional. Overall, the service from staff was a strong highlight of my stay. The location was decent, although getting around took a bit longer than expected—this may simply be due to the metro system rather than the hotel itself. Unfortunately, the main issue I experienced was with the air conditioning, which significantly impacted my stay. Upon arrival, the room felt quite warm, with the thermostat reading 21°C. I initially assumed this was due to the time of day, but after being out for several hours, the room remained uncomfortably hot. When I reported this to the front desk, I was told everything was functioning properly. That night, the heat made it very difficult to sleep. The next morning, I requested a fan from the manager and was assured it would be placed in my room. However, when I returned later that evening, there was no fan, and the room felt even warmer. After another visit to the front desk, they adjusted the system to 18°C. Despite this, the room temperature did not improve. Upon further review, staff discovered that while the system displayed 18°C, the actual room temperature was 27°C. They apologized and offered to move me to a different room with a twin bed for the night, which I accepted since the original room was uninhabitable due to the heat. I was told the air conditioning unit would be repaired the following day. The next morning, I confirmed with the front desk that the repair would be completed while I was out. However, when I returned in the evening, nothing had been fixed. I was then informed that the technician was not working that day, and the only option available was to move to a downgraded room. I accepted again out of necessity, but the new room was significantly smaller. Unfortunately, no compensation or refund was offered for the inconvenience or downgrade. Even after switching rooms, the issues continued, as the air conditioning repeatedly turned off and required additional trips to the front desk to resolve. In summary, this is a well-maintained hotel with excellent staff and good overall value. However, the air conditioning issues were a major drawback. If having reliable climate control is important to you—especially during warmer months—you may want to consider this before booking.

TThe hotel is exceptionally stylish and has a very nice, modern aesthetic. The design is chic and the atmosphere is welcoming. The wooden floors are a major issue for noise. We could clearly hear movement from the room above, the room next door, and even our own footsteps echoed. The sound insulation is very poor. Beautiful hotel, but would not recommend if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise.

The room was very well-equipped, with cooking utensils provided, and the dishwasher was a big plus; however, the air conditioning and heating systems kept turning off automatically, and the heater wouldn't turn on. After we reported this, the hotel provided breakfast for us one day because the repairs didn't take place until after check-out! Very nice! 👍🏻

I stayed for 7 days. The location is excellent, and I felt at ease knowing that English was spoken.✨ **Location:** It's within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and Avenue des Champs-Élysées, meaning there are tons of train and bus lines available! You can even get to the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland without any transfers. Access to Charles de Gaulle Airport is also good, taking about 50 minutes by train or 35 minutes by car. I also went to Orly Airport for one night to visit Nice. You can get to the airport line (CDG, ORLY) with just one transfer, so the location is truly fantastic. **Amenities:** Water and potato chips were provided daily. Tea and a kettle were also available, which was a nice touch. There are no toothbrushes, pajamas, or slippers. I brought my own slippers to use in the room. I never quite figured out why some days there were no chips or water (lol). **Cleanliness:** Bed making was done meticulously every day. It seems towels are only replaced if left on the floor; they weren't replaced on days I left them on the shelf.

The price is reasonable, and having a police station downstairs made us feel very safe. It's conveniently located near a metro station, but we mostly took Ubers to get around. Ubers to major attractions were only about 10-15 Euros, which was cost-effective for a group. The area is a local residential neighborhood with a Carrefour supermarket, fruit stores, delicious cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and a pharmacy. The sink was a bit clogged, but the front desk quickly sent someone to fix it. Overall, a great stay, and I'd consider staying here again.

We booked 3 rooms here at Lyf Paris Gambetta. It was amazing. The location is the best, there are two metro stations within an 8 minute walk. My whole family enjoyed it so much, there are many shops nearby so getting food is very easy. The hotel itself had many amenities, including gym and sauna, as well as a beautiful courtyard that you could eat your own food at. The Eiffel Tower was only 30-40 minutes away via metro. The staff were exceptional and kind, they helped us with all our needs. A special thanks to Darien and Rubel, who were very hospitable and kind to us during our stay. Definitely will stay at this hotel if I come back to Paris.

The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the location couldn't be better – right across from the North Station, with a metro entrance just outside. It was literally a two-to-three-minute walk from the Eurostar platform. The staff were diligent, responsible, and friendly. One time, I needed to print something at midnight, and Harold on duty immediately helped me out – a big thanks to him! The only downside to the hotel is the poor soundproofing. My room was next to a large room that could sleep five people. Luckily, out of my seven-night stay, there were only two nights when someone was next door: once it was a family with two crying children, and another time it was a group of young people…

The hotel's location is excellent: close to the metro, McDonald's, and a grocery store are very close, and all the city center attractions are within walking distance. The staff is helpful and polite. The hotel is in good condition, with a working elevator and plenty of TV channels. The room is small, like all Paris hotels. The most important thing in winter is that the hotel is very warm! The bathroom had a window :) Cons: - No kettle in the room - Safe doesn't work - Very small shower stall (barely fits a 90+ kg person)

AMAKA SPARKLE
Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
