"My stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Taicang was excellent. It's right next to the Wanda shopping district, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The front desk service was attentive and efficient. My room was spacious and tidy, with soft, comfortable bedding and a well-designed bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, and the made-to-order noodle station was exceptional. The heated swimming pool and gym facilities were complete. Parking was free and easy. This hotel offers incredible value for money for business trips and is definitely my top choice when visiting Taicang."

"This is my first negative hotel review on Trip.com, and it's for this place.
When I checked in, I realized I hadn't booked a room with breakfast, so I bought two. Buying it at the hotel was more expensive than the Trip.com package. On Trip.com, my room type with breakfast was just over 800 [currency unit], but buying breakfast separately made the total over 900 [currency unit], an extra 90-plus [currency unit]. The staff didn't even mention it, and I only found out after comparing prices back in my room. If it was just my own oversight, that'd be one thing, but I later discovered that for this price on Trip.com, I could have gotten a free room upgrade. So why wasn't I proactively offered an upgrade during the off-peak season?
Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I arrived around 9:20 AM, there were only leftovers from the already limited selection. There was only one sad-looking fried egg left. I understand making less food during the off-season when there are fewer guests, but you're charging me 109 [currency unit] per person. And the hot food wasn't even good.
In the room, the duvet on the bed had dust on it, and it felt damp when I slept. The overhead shower was broken, and so was the shower attachment for the bathtub. This is the first time I've encountered toothpaste in a sachet. For this price, I also had to buy my own drinks. And who knows what brand the hairdryer was."

"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! It's very close to the ski resort, and there's a Manner store nearby. The facilities are super new, and the decor is modern and minimalist, making for a very comfortable stay. The room space is exceptionally generous, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with thoughtful details. Plus, parking is free, which is incredibly convenient for those driving. "It was a very good hotel. The price was just right, not too expensive, not too cheap, and with the discount from Trip.com, I was able to stay at a reasonable price. The breakfast service was good, and I was able to order noodles and wontons. There is a shopping mall nearby, Nanyang Plaza, where you can shop. There is a Walmart inside, so you can get everything you need. You can eat at the nearby shops, and there is a convenience store where you can buy drinks. The room was clean and I was happy. However, there were some bugs on the last day, but it was when I checked out, so it was no problem. It's strange that the toilet can be operated with a button on the foot. There is no problem with the hot water or strength of the shower. There is a rain shower and a regular hose shower, but I always used the rain shower."

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The room was very clean, spacious, carpeted, and quiet. The bedding was neat, and there was even a round table, perfect for situations like mine where I had to work overtime. The view was excellent, and we slept very well at night. They even provided a children's toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers – a thoughtful touch. The room overlooked the city park, and the hotel's location was superb, surrounded by Wanda Plaza, museums, and art galleries. It was conveniently located within walking distance. The breakfast was also extremely satisfying – a plentiful and delicious buffet with both Chinese and American options. Our child didn't want to stay longer and insisted on checking out until the very last minute. The value for money was unbeatable. Both adults and children were very satisfied with our trip to Taicang. We will definitely come back when the weather cools down. No one asked for a good review; the hotel's cleanliness, service, sleep quality, and location were all impeccable. A good review is a must, and it truly deserves it. I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I will definitely stay here again next time."

GGuest UserThe environment is absolutely stunning, surrounded by woods and rice paddies, the air is incredibly fresh, and the scenery is so beautiful you won't want to leave. The interior is also meticulously decorated, with string lights, rattan sofas, and bubble rooms – the attention to detail is impeccable. Staying here, dining, chatting, and watching the sunset while enjoying the evening breeze is so relaxing. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and I'll definitely come back! Wow!

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests.
The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries.
Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower.
The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums.
In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs.
Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me.
But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserThe room on May Day was very tight, but I missed it early on May Day and booked two rooms, one on the outside and one on the courtyard.
Parking spaces include underground parking lots (right next to the hotel, near Starbucks) and surface parking lots (on Xinbei East Road, there is a small alley opposite the ”Yu Guoyuan” snack shop. The parking spaces are quite spacious)
The hotel is connected to the Leyin Garden next door during the day.
The hotel is very clean inside, the front desk is friendly, the room is large, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the bed is very comfortable, and the pillows are suitable for us to sleep on.
The hotel is very close to Shaxi Ancient Town. There are snacks, pastries, Taicang specialty meat floss, clothes sellers, and Yiwu small commodities. It is very lively. For breakfast, you can go to Auntie Zhang’s dim sum shop. The fried pancakes are quite delicious.

Even though I booked through Trip.com and the price matched what was listed on the app, I didn’t respond and simply went to my room. Additionally, I later discovered a cockroach in my room and I complain to the same old lady about this but she replied”deal by yourself”🧐Despite all these the hotel is reasonable for average people with limited budgets, and while the service reflects its affordability, improvements in staff attitude and cleanliness could enhance the experience.

HhitsuziAlthough the hotel exterior is rather old, the rooms are relatively new, clean, and comfortable. The front desk service is attentive. The room we were initially assigned may have been used by a previous guest for hot pot or something similar, as it had a strong odor. The front desk staff immediately changed our room and proactively provided instructions on how to use the smart devices in the room. The hotel's location is good; it's 400 meters from RT-Mart and 900 meters from Nanyang Square, and public transportation is very convenient. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Sscy999Initially, after booking, I was a bit concerned seeing the mixed reviews on Ctrip, but after checking in, I actually found it to be pretty good.
First of all, the day before arrival, customer service reached out to ask for our license plate number. They also added us on WeChat to send over the address, important instructions, and the necessary pass for Seventy-Two Villages. We arrived in the afternoon, and our room was still being prepared. While we waited, they kindly offered us complimentary soft drinks.
We stayed in a LOFT room, which was perfect for our group of three adults and one child, with the addition of a tatami mat. The room offered a pleasant view of the fields.
The room key was an old-fashioned type; you had to manually lock the door after closing it, otherwise, it could be opened from the outside. You also needed to lock it from the outside when leaving the room. This system felt a bit dated and could definitely be improved.
On the LOFT level, the common area in the lobby featured an automatic mahjong table, which is great for larger groups.
The central air conditioning in the room was quite loud, which I found difficult to get used to, and I barely slept the first night. By the second day, I had adjusted to the noise, but the AC was too cold. Even after adjusting the temperature upwards and changing the fan speed, it didn't make much of a difference.
Upon check-out, they also gave us complimentary bottled water and a frog toy for the child, which was a very thoughtful gesture.
The butler/concierge service is available until 9 PM, so if you need anything, it's best to contact customer service via WeChat earlier in the day.

Standing on the balcony and looking at the golf course, a green is refreshing, and the room is not bad.
In the morning, I went to the nearby Yangzhou morning tea shop to eat morning tea, and then went to the ranch to play not far away.

AALLZEROSThe lobby is quite high-end, but the building structure does not seem to be designed for a hotel. The route from the elevator to the room is a bit roundabout. The style of the room is more traditional government hotel. The bedding is quite comfortable and it is very quiet at night. What is more surprising is that the toilet paper is placed directly in the washbasin grid. The hotel is far from the restaurant, which takes less than ten minutes to walk. The breakfast variety is less than the price of 58 yuan, and the quality is average. The overall cost performance is average.
