"This is my first negative hotel review on Trip.com, and it's for this place. When I checked in, I realized I hadn't booked a room with breakfast, so I bought two. Buying it at the hotel was more expensive than the Trip.com package. On Trip.com, my room type with breakfast was just over 800 [currency unit], but buying breakfast separately made the total over 900 [currency unit], an extra 90-plus [currency unit]. The staff didn't even mention it, and I only found out after comparing prices back in my room. If it was just my own oversight, that'd be one thing, but I later discovered that for this price on Trip.com, I could have gotten a free room upgrade. So why wasn't I proactively offered an upgrade during the off-peak season? Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I arrived around 9:20 AM, there were only leftovers from the already limited selection. There was only one sad-looking fried egg left. I understand making less food during the off-season when there are fewer guests, but you're charging me 109 [currency unit] per person. And the hot food wasn't even good. In the room, the duvet on the bed had dust on it, and it felt damp when I slept. The overhead shower was broken, and so was the shower attachment for the bathtub. This is the first time I've encountered toothpaste in a sachet. For this price, I also had to buy my own drinks. And who knows what brand the hairdryer was."

"The hotel meets high standards. The rooms are clean, spacious, modern, and equipped with new facilities. The service is excellent and very prompt. Guests are welcomed with fresh fruit, and there are even small gifts for children, which is a lovely touch. We are very satisfied with the staff’s polite and friendly attitude. A special thanks to Ms. Ella Zhang, who was especially kind and flexible, helping our group have a wonderful experience at the hotel. We will definitely come back if we have the chance."

"Was recommended to this hotel as the location is very good. True enough, the location is super as Wanda Plaza is just a stroller... However, as I am kind of allergic to Smoke, I requested a NON Smoking room... unfortunately, once we entered our room, the smoke smelled were so terrible....there is a No Smoking sign, but the fact there is an ashtray, it suggested otherwise.... Luckily we only stayed for 1 night... Breakfast is good though... In a nutshell, if you are okay with Smoke, the hotel is pretty good. However, for a NON smoker and allergic to Smoke, better think twice...."

"The room was spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff provided great service. The breakfast spread was excellent with plenty of variety. There are many restaurants nearby, and Wanda Plaza is only about a 10-minute walk away. Plus, they have an indoor swimming pool, which is a real bonus!"

"This hotel is located in the Rothenburg-style street of Haiyunti. From its exterior architecture to its interior furnishings, it's brimming with German charm. The staff are all very nice and meticulous in their work, especially Tang Fengqing, the night shift attendant, who was incredibly warm and attentive. The breakfast offers both Western and Chinese options, and the taste is quite good."

"Really great place if you want to stay in Taicang. The staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are really modern and smart, with automatic curtains lol. :) However the rooms are not super large and especially the space around the sink is a bit limited. But the loveliness combined with the advanced interior make this a really special place!"
