"This is my first negative hotel review on Trip.com, and it's for this place. When I checked in, I realized I hadn't booked a room with breakfast, so I bought two. Buying it at the hotel was more expensive than the Trip.com package. On Trip.com, my room type with breakfast was just over 800 [currency unit], but buying breakfast separately made the total over 900 [currency unit], an extra 90-plus [currency unit]. The staff didn't even mention it, and I only found out after comparing prices back in my room. If it was just my own oversight, that'd be one thing, but I later discovered that for this price on Trip.com, I could have gotten a free room upgrade. So why wasn't I proactively offered an upgrade during the off-peak season? Breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, but when I arrived around 9:20 AM, there were only leftovers from the already limited selection. There was only one sad-looking fried egg left. I understand making less food during the off-season when there are fewer guests, but you're charging me 109 [currency unit] per person. And the hot food wasn't even good. In the room, the duvet on the bed had dust on it, and it felt damp when I slept. The overhead shower was broken, and so was the shower attachment for the bathtub. This is the first time I've encountered toothpaste in a sachet. For this price, I also had to buy my own drinks. And who knows what brand the hairdryer was."

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The room was very clean, spacious, carpeted, and quiet. The bedding was neat, and there was even a round table, perfect for situations like mine where I had to work overtime. The view was excellent, and we slept very well at night. They even provided a children's toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers – a thoughtful touch. The room overlooked the city park, and the hotel's location was superb, surrounded by Wanda Plaza, museums, and art galleries. It was conveniently located within walking distance. The breakfast was also extremely satisfying – a plentiful and delicious buffet with both Chinese and American options. Our child didn't want to stay longer and insisted on checking out until the very last minute. The value for money was unbeatable. Both adults and children were very satisfied with our trip to Taicang. We will definitely come back when the weather cools down. No one asked for a good review; the hotel's cleanliness, service, sleep quality, and location were all impeccable. A good review is a must, and it truly deserves it. I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I will definitely stay here again next time."

"This resort near Shanghai offers incredible value for money, with everything you need for dining, entertainment, and relaxation! 😁 Besides accommodation, we also experienced a travel photoshoot, afternoon tea, and karaoke, all for less than 600 RMB per night – what a steal! 🤩 The hotel is an old property that's been recently renovated and reopened. It boasts a large area with extensive greenery. There's a shuttle service for transfers between the lobby and rooms, though you can also walk. The rooms, restaurant, and lobby are all connected by corridors, so you don't even need an umbrella on rainy days – so thoughtful! ❤️ The staff were enthusiastic, and some package activities supported advance booking. Although we encountered issues with both our room and dinner after check-in, they were all resolved smoothly in the end. Their professionalism is commendable! 👍 The KTV private room is especially worth mentioning. It's super spacious, easily accommodating over 10 people, and the sound system is good. It was delightful for a family gathering. Regarding the room, since it's newly renovated, there was still a slight scent, but all the facilities are highly intelligent. The room is spacious, with two washbasins, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The bedding is firm, which I prefer, so my sleep quality was decent. Overall, it's very suitable for a family vacation, and the value for money is top-notch! 👍"

"The hotel environment is very good, with a small garden surrounded by a circle of small villas, quiet and good air. The two elderly people have difficulty walking, so they are very happy to take a walk in the small garden and feed the fish after breakfast every day. Whether it is the lobby or the conference hall restaurant, it is very grand and bright, but it may be a long time since it was built. There are some unreasonable facilities in the room, such as there is no socket on the bedside table, and you have to go to the bathroom bar under the window by the desk to charge it, so you can't lie in bed and watch your phone, which feels very inconvenient. In addition, the temperature has risen in the past two days, and the room is stuffy. The air conditioner has been turned on for more than an hour, but the room temperature has not been lowered. Finally, a floor was changed. It was quite difficult to change rooms with two octogenarians. The air conditioner in the new room was not very good. In the end, only a little window could be opened for ventilation, which led to a stuffy sleep at night. To be honest, the attitude of the hotel from the lobby manager to the front desk restaurant waiter is very good, and they have always taken good care of my elderly. But it would be better if you ask more questions when checking in, ”The hotel entrance is under renovation and construction. Living in the south is easy to be woken up early in the morning. Do you want to live in the north?” Because we were awakened by the sound of impact drills at 6 o'clock in the morning for two consecutive days, if the front desk had informed us of this situation when we checked in, we could have avoided the rooms facing south. It was too tiring to move again, so we endured it for two days, but it was still a bit unpleasant. Finally, the Su-style noodles on the first floor of Yuebin Building were too hard and would not be cooked no matter how hard they were cooked. I was quite disappointed. However, the stir-fried dishes were unexpectedly delicious and not expensive. The elderly were very satisfied with the food. Loudong is generally okay, but I hope that they can consider the guests' perspective and be more meticulous in service."

"Especially good hotel is super cost-effective, the space is large, the decoration is very careful, there is a small singing bar too addictive, the details can feel the boss's attitude. The details are also very good, the bathtub is given a disposable bath bag, breakfast is delivered to the room by the aunt, even the toothbrush is very good! Not a general chain product, next time you come to Taicang to play, you have to live in a different room type!"
