Hotels with Breakfast in Taicang

The hotel's service and dining were absolutely fantastic! There were tons of activities for kids, constantly featuring various ceremonies. However, since my family and I are introverts and prefer quiet, we hardly participated in any of them. My daughter, on the other hand, was completely enchanted by the robot dog in the hotel lobby. We rented one, and she was so upset when it was time to return it, she cried her goodbyes. The lobby manager was very thoughtful and gave my daughter a model robot dog, which has been her favorite ever since. The only downside was the facilities. The air conditioning in the room was too cold; it wouldn't go above 21 degrees Celsius, and even switching it to heating mode didn't help. For a family-friendly hotel, there was no small stool at the bathroom sink, and the sink next to the toilet lacked hand soap and hand towels, which felt a bit inconsiderate. The kids' play area facilities were also a bit too basic, but perhaps everyone was at the snow world.

The Yitel in Taicang is a fantastic hotel.  From the great front desk staff allowing us a bit of an early check in, to the wonderful breakfast, great room with a lovely big bathtub, to the very warm and friendly housekeeping and restaurant staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yitel. We have been staying at many hotels over the last few months in China, and this hotel is a standout.  The location in central Taicang is great, with a shopping mall and Walmart right across the street, and many other shops, restaurants, banks, and more within easy walking distance.  Our large Queen room was great - very large, incredibly comfortable and well appointed - and, again, the great big bathtub was a special treat.  There is a great in house laundry - most importantly, the best dryer we have used at a ny of the hotels we have stayed in.  Great hotel and would highly recommend.

Although the room is small, it is very comfortable. It is not easy to climb the second floor, but the children like it very much. Then the design of the figurehead was interesting, without cutting a tree, though I didn't see the designer's nameplate, but it looked the same designer as the restaurant. Unfortunately, the smell in the room is too heavy, it may be the reason for using multi-layer solid wood boards. At the time of design, it may be for pure scenery to expand the viewing frame, so there is a small window for ventilation, in fact, the window above the bar can also be designed for ventilation. Yes, this way the circulation wind can reduce the taste. Outdoor activities are very good, but the most suitable season is summer, because in summer, you can dig bamboo shoots, watch lotus flowers, you can catch crabs, and you can play paddle boards. It’s not bad to come to Qingming Festival, there are no mosquitoes, and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms. But the paddle board can't play, because it will catch a cold when it falls into the water. However, the zip line crossing the river is very exciting and fun, and it is rare in other places. The boss is very enthusiastic and helps the children peel melon seeds and peanuts. According to employees, the boss bought some deer to free up in the forest farm, and my daughter said she saw the deer with horns at night, but she was in the age of nonsense, so I am not sure if it is.

This is my fourth time staying at the Taicang Karuizawa Onsen Hotel, and I'm still extremely satisfied. This time, I came for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday with my mom, husband, and son. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are serene, well-equipped, and have a quality feel. The hygiene has always been excellent, making for a very reassuring stay. My favorite part is still the hot springs – warm, comfortable, and very authentic. For me, the cleanliness of the hot spring area is particularly important, and Karuizawa consistently meets expectations in this regard. Each soak leaves me feeling relaxed both physically and mentally, making it perfect for a short holiday getaway. The hotel's surroundings are also ideal for a vacation. It's about a 15-minute drive to Shaxi Ancient Town, which has lots of delicious food. Nearby is JinCang Lake Park, with its excellent ecological environment, perfect for a family stroll and relaxation. We drove from Shanghai, which took about an hour and a half, so the transportation is very convenient. That's why for the past two years, whenever a holiday comes around, we think of staying here for a few days. During this stay, the hotel service also felt very warm. The staff were friendly and thoughtful, and the restaurant service was especially attentive, proactively caring for and asking about our needs. When they learned my mom had a sensitive stomach, they even specially added plain congee, which was truly thoughtful. Because we've stayed multiple times over the past two years, the hotel even offered a complimentary private hot spring this time, making us feel their full sincerity and a truly welcoming atmosphere. In short, the Karuizawa Onsen Hotel has become our family's go-to for short holiday getaways. Everything from the rooms, hot springs, hygiene, and service to the surrounding environment leaves us very satisfied. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance in the second half of the year.

We booked a room without breakfast, and they even gave us a discount on breakfast! Late-night congee service: This is such a thoughtful and personalized touch. I've experienced such great service that I've stayed at Atour twice recently.

The hotel meets high standards. The rooms are clean, spacious, modern, and equipped with new facilities. The service is excellent and very prompt. Guests are welcomed with fresh fruit, and there are even small gifts for children, which is a lovely touch. We are very satisfied with the staff’s polite and friendly attitude. A special thanks to Ms. Ella Zhang, who was especially kind and flexible, helping our group have a wonderful experience at the hotel. We will definitely come back if we have the chance.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! It's very close to the ski resort, and there's a Manner store nearby. The facilities are super new, and the decor is modern and minimalist, making for a very comfortable stay. The room space is exceptionally generous, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with thoughtful details. Plus, parking is free, which is incredibly convenient for those driving. I especially want to commend the front desk staff; their service attitude was superb, very responsive, and enthusiastic. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

Although the hotel exterior is rather old, the rooms are relatively new, clean, and comfortable. The front desk service is attentive. The room we were initially assigned may have been used by a previous guest for hot pot or something similar, as it had a strong odor. The front desk staff immediately changed our room and proactively provided instructions on how to use the smart devices in the room. The hotel's location is good; it's 400 meters from RT-Mart and 900 meters from Nanyang Square, and public transportation is very convenient. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Initially, after booking, I was a bit concerned seeing the mixed reviews on Ctrip, but after checking in, I actually found it to be pretty good. First of all, the day before arrival, customer service reached out to ask for our license plate number. They also added us on WeChat to send over the address, important instructions, and the necessary pass for Seventy-Two Villages. We arrived in the afternoon, and our room was still being prepared. While we waited, they kindly offered us complimentary soft drinks. We stayed in a LOFT room, which was perfect for our group of three adults and one child, with the addition of a tatami mat. The room offered a pleasant view of the fields. The room key was an old-fashioned type; you had to manually lock the door after closing it, otherwise, it could be opened from the outside. You also needed to lock it from the outside when leaving the room. This system felt a bit dated and could definitely be improved. On the LOFT level, the common area in the lobby featured an automatic mahjong table, which is great for larger groups. The central air conditioning in the room was quite loud, which I found difficult to get used to, and I barely slept the first night. By the second day, I had adjusted to the noise, but the AC was too cold. Even after adjusting the temperature upwards and changing the fan speed, it didn't make much of a difference. Upon check-out, they also gave us complimentary bottled water and a frog toy for the child, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The butler/concierge service is available until 9 PM, so if you need anything, it's best to contact customer service via WeChat earlier in the day.

The room is clean and comfortable, and the service staff is warm and kind. The location is a little off, but very close to Zheng He Park.
