"The hotel facilities are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. The shower water was nice and hot. The hotel's location is excellent, offering a fantastic 180-degree panoramic view. The lobby downstairs is spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, helping us plan our itinerary right from when we booked the room. She advised us on how to avoid wasting time traveling between the two villages on the scenic bus and even booked our bus tickets back to Guilin for the next day. After checking out, she kindly drove us to the parking lot. The rice noodles for breakfast and the bamboo chicken and rice for dinner were delicious, and we even received complimentary glutinous rice wine. Highly recommended!"

The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious! You can just relax there and soak in the magnificent views. There's a nearby viewing platform perfect for capturing stunning photos. And a beautiful swimming pool offering panoramic terrace views! Everything here is simply perfect! "Our log cabin was incredibly comfortable, nestled halfway up the mountain and conveniently close to Viewing Platform #2. Our room even had a small balcony, and there's also a communal viewing deck on the ground floor offering truly stunning views. The owner was wonderfully hospitable, providing enthusiastic pick-up and drop-off service. And the meals were absolutely delicious!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owners (husband and wife team) were genuinely interested to make sure all our needs were taken care of; and that all our questions were answered promptly and correctly. We felt more like part of their family instead of some foreign hotel guests. The wife is a wonderful chef! She can cook and how! We ate almost every meal at this hotel. We were sad to leave. We highly recommend this hotel, it is situated mid way up the mountain, but if you stayed elsewhere high up, most days you will be enveloped completely with heavy fog and you wouldn’t see anything at all. Tell your DiDi driver to take you all the way to the bottom of the hotel and someone will come down to help you with the luggage."

"The room was spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable. The balcony offered a beautiful, expansive view of the terraced fields. Breakfast was included, and we just needed to arrange lunch and dinner with the owner. They also provided shuttle service up and down the mountain, which was incredibly convenient. The service was warm and attentive. I had to go up and down the mountain several times for personal matters, and the owner was always very enthusiastic about driving me and offering assistance. Truly commendable!"

"It was such a wonderful experience at this place! From the time we make a booking to our arrival and to our departure, everything was seamless. Owner personally contacted us to ensure we know how to get to the place, giving us suggestion on places to visit, arranging for pickup. "Very kind and nice staff, rooms are clean and pretty. The location is right between viewing decks 1 and 2 (around 15 mn hike to either) which is nice for hiking. The couple managing this hotel really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and they gave fruits, dessert, wine and really good breakfast. We had dinner there and it was delicious home cooked food, they were very accommodating about food preferences and restrictions. They also helped us book the bus from Guilin and back which was really great. Their dogs and cats are super cute and gentle. Thank you for such a great stay!"

GGuest UserThis is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care. No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey. This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys! I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. GGuest UserThe owner is very nice and helpful. He responds to messages immediately and is always responsive. He also provides pick-up and drop-off. The room is very clean and the environment is beautiful. I slowed down and enjoyed the scenery. The style is very fitting for the name of the hotel. It is an elegant and carefree place. There are tatami mats that the children love, fishing in the rice fields, ethnic costumes, delicious young chicken, and rice wine that they can't drink enough. The owner even picked wild cabbage for the children. Overall, it was a wonderful experience here.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us. The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal. The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here. The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local). What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat). 在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。

JJingcaisunjianThe location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

GGuest UserAll in all an extremely pleasant stay! The location is absolutely stunning. Sure, it might be a little bit off the beaten track, but the views are all the more rewarding and the hiking path from Dazhai is also highly recommended. The hotel lobby also functions as a big living room and a little restaurant run by the owners. The food is excellent and well priced (definitely try their rice wine!). Because we were there in winter and it was cold, the owners even put a small radiator under our table to make it comfortable. Generally, the owners were super nice and friendly and adding their absolutely adorable puppy, we almost couldn't bring ourselves to leave. The rooms were very clean, have a small separate bathroom and we had a small balcony with view over the rice terraces. For a more budget option there is also rooms without AC or view, in that case you can still enjoy quite a bit of the scenery from the living room downstairs or just by exploring the surroundings on foot. (The picture is shot from our balcony, but sadly some of the view was obscured by the winter mist.) We will definitely try to come again sometime in summer and are already excited thinking about staying in this hotel again.

GGuest UserMama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.  We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!  They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月! Highly recommend booking with them! ☺️👌🏼

GGuest User🚗Convenience: I drove from Chengdu to Guilin with a friend's family. The journey was long, so we decided to stay at Longji halfway up the mountain as our first stop. After looking around online and communicating with the boss, we chose Yunman! When we parked at the foot of the mountain and walked to the parking lot, the owner was already waiting for us at the door, which was very thoughtful. 🛏️Beauty: When we arrived at the accommodation, we were attracted by the scenery in front of us. Outside the balcony was the terraced fields. We drank tea and ate with the breeze on our faces. It felt very comfortable. We told the boss that we were tired from the journey and we were going to take a break and go fishing. The boss also contacted Baba Shishi for us. 🌄Excellent location: It is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots on both sides, and the night stroll in the village next to it is also very close. We went to the Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck first because we were going to catch fish. The children walked barefoot on the stone road, and wild strawberries could be picked everywhere on the roadside. They were so sweet, the scenery was beautiful, and it was a surprise~ The adults had more fun than the children in the fishing activity😂 🏡Comfortable: We booked a twin bed, the room is spacious and bright, the balcony has unlimited scenery, the night is lit by candlelight, the stars are twinkling, and tourists who hike at night walk with flashlights. Apart from the darkness, there are moving lights as companions, as if you are in the starry sky. As a background for the balcony, it is simply amazing, haha. We originally wanted to do it ourselves, but our husband talked to the chef and withdrew because he felt that the chef was very professional. The chicken tasted great in two ways. This meal was the best we had on the way, bar none. The rice wine was delicious. It was a pity that we didn’t eat the snails recommended by the boss. When we left, the boss sent us to the parking lot. Next time we go, we will go there to have a good time! 👏Very good accommodation environment, with natural white noise to help you sleep at night. EE0193****Contact the owner upon arrival at Ping'an parking lot, and they will come to pick you up. The owners are very welcoming and attentive. The room was clean with a great view; you could see the terraced fields from the bed. The hotel is located in Ping'an Village, close to the Jiulong Wuhu viewing platform, and a bit further away from Qixing Banyue. A loop around the village is perfect if you don't backtrack. When we went, it was during the Rice Planting Festival, and the village was very lively. The owners had to participate in performances, but even so, they took excellent care of us, responding to all our needs.

GGuest UserThe hot springs are truly amazing! There are more than a dozen pools, all quite large, and the front desk service was excellent. The room I booked this time was in the main building, which seems to have been renovated. It doesn't look old, but due to its proximity to the mountain, it still smells damp. When I checked in, the fifth floor hadn't been cleaned yet, so I was assigned the fourth. The lighting was average, and the duvet felt wet. If you want a newer room and proximity to the hot springs, you can definitely choose the spa. After checking in, I realized it's part of the same establishment and not much more expensive. However, the price on Ctrip for the same room wasn't great. The price on Douyin was under 300. I'll have to learn to compare prices. Honestly.

I had to eat another bowl of my favorite noodle soup before leaving! With such a beautiful view and the friendly local Red Yao proprietress, we stayed one more night. Come on everyone, the scenery is absolutely beautiful, beyond words! ! !
