GGuest UserThis is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care.
No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey.
This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys!
I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. I've even specially included a photo with the host family, hoping everyone will support their business. There haven't been many tourists lately, but my experience was absolutely phenomenal.

GGuest UserThe owner is very nice and helpful. He responds to messages immediately and is always responsive. He also provides pick-up and drop-off. The room is very clean and the environment is beautiful. I slowed down and enjoyed the scenery. The style is very fitting for the name of the hotel. It is an elegant and carefree place. There are tatami mats that the children love, fishing in the rice fields, ethnic costumes, delicious young chicken, and rice wine that they can't drink enough. The owner even picked wild cabbage for the children. Overall, it was a wonderful experience here.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).
在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。

GGuest UserMama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.
We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!
They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月!
Highly recommend booking with them! ☺️👌🏼

JJingcaisunjianThe location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds.
We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial.
The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

AAnonymous UserThe quality of accommodation at Longji Terrace here is absolutely top-notch! No wonder it's hailed as the pinnacle of Longji lodging; it truly lives up to its reputation. The facilities and bathrooms feature high-end brands, giving them a truly premium feel.
The environment is even more exceptional. The guesthouse is tranquil, elegant, and naturally serene. You can take in the breathtaking views of the Longji Terraces right from your room, enjoying an expansive, incredibly soothing vista.
And the service is truly impeccable! The housekeeper was warm, genuine, and thoughtfully helped us with our luggage. She even proactively brought afternoon tea and playing cards to our room, showing incredible attention to detail. Upon checkout, they had even prepared a lovely farewell gift, which was both heartwarming and touching.
The main highlight is how incredibly delicious the food is! The free-range chicken is self-raised, and the green vegetables are home-grown! The organic taste is simply divine!

GGuest UserAll in all an extremely pleasant stay! The location is absolutely stunning. Sure, it might be a little bit off the beaten track, but the views are all the more rewarding and the hiking path from Dazhai is also highly recommended.
The hotel lobby also functions as a big living room and a little restaurant run by the owners. The food is excellent and well priced (definitely try their rice wine!). Because we were there in winter and it was cold, the owners even put a small radiator under our table to make it comfortable.
Generally, the owners were super nice and friendly and adding their absolutely adorable puppy, we almost couldn't bring ourselves to leave.
The rooms were very clean, have a small separate bathroom and we had a small balcony with view over the rice terraces. For a more budget option there is also rooms without AC or view, in that case you can still enjoy quite a bit of the scenery from the living room downstairs or just by exploring the surroundings on foot. (The picture is shot from our balcony, but sadly some of the view was obscured by the winter mist.)
We will definitely try to come again sometime in summer and are already excited thinking about staying in this hotel again.

GGuest User🚗Convenience: I drove from Chengdu to Guilin with a friend's family. The journey was long, so we decided to stay at Longji halfway up the mountain as our first stop. After looking around online and communicating with the boss, we chose Yunman! When we parked at the foot of the mountain and walked to the parking lot, the owner was already waiting for us at the door, which was very thoughtful.
🛏️Beauty: When we arrived at the accommodation, we were attracted by the scenery in front of us. Outside the balcony was the terraced fields. We drank tea and ate with the breeze on our faces. It felt very comfortable. We told the boss that we were tired from the journey and we were going to take a break and go fishing. The boss also contacted Baba Shishi for us.
🌄Excellent location: It is very convenient to walk to the scenic spots on both sides, and the night stroll in the village next to it is also very close. We went to the Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck first because we were going to catch fish. The children walked barefoot on the stone road, and wild strawberries could be picked everywhere on the roadside. They were so sweet, the scenery was beautiful, and it was a surprise~ The adults had more fun than the children in the fishing activity😂
🏡Comfortable: We booked a twin bed, the room is spacious and bright, the balcony has unlimited scenery, the night is lit by candlelight, the stars are twinkling, and tourists who hike at night walk with flashlights. Apart from the darkness, there are moving lights as companions, as if you are in the starry sky. As a background for the balcony, it is simply amazing, haha. My friend didn't have much expectations for the terraced fields, but when he arrived during the flooding period, he got used to it, and it was also beautiful. My friend felt very good and the experience was full!
🥗Delicious: We ordered the meal directly in the restaurant. The boss asked the restaurant chef to cook the fish we caught for us. We originally wanted to do it ourselves, but our husband talked to the chef and withdrew because he felt that the chef was very professional. The chicken tasted great in two ways. This meal was the best we had on the way, bar none. The rice wine was delicious. It was a pity that we didn’t eat the snails recommended by the boss. When we left, the boss sent us to the parking lot. Next time we go, we will go there to have a good time!
👏Very good accommodation environment, with natural white noise to help you sleep at night. Both adults and children slept comfortably and woke up feeling refreshed. Yunman Tianjian is highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis is the second time to come to Dragon Ridge, last time stayed on the edge of Kowloon Five Tigers, did not climb to the mountain, but, the other end is the mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces to see, so, this time I want to try the Ping An Village, this should be an old hotel, but the sanitary view is top-notch, although not like the Kowloon Five Tigers can Take the shuttle bus to the hotel door, but this is only two minutes walk to get off the bus, the hotel food is cooked by the boss, the hotel's pick-up service is the boss's own responsibility, a decent B&B, bed sheets and bath towels are very clean, the water is very hot, the large balcony is directly looking at the terraces, super high value for money, worth recommending. Pictures 1 and 2 were taken from the balcony. They are super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes. A set is 20 yuan. Really, everyone has come here. It is still very good to borrow a set to take pictures.

GGuest UserThe hot springs are truly amazing! There are more than a dozen pools, all quite large, and the front desk service was excellent. The room I booked this time was in the main building, which seems to have been renovated. It doesn't look old, but due to its proximity to the mountain, it still smells damp. When I checked in, the fifth floor hadn't been cleaned yet, so I was assigned the fourth. The lighting was average, and the duvet felt wet. If you want a newer room and proximity to the hot springs, you can definitely choose the spa. After checking in, I realized it's part of the same establishment and not much more expensive. However, the price on Ctrip for the same room wasn't great. The price on Douyin was under 300. I'll have to learn to compare prices. Honestly.
