"I stayed at the Kangding Love Song Square Intercity Hotel this time, and the overall experience was excellent. It was the most comfortable and memorable hotel during my entire trip.
The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Kangding, making it super convenient for walks, finding food, and shopping. They also offer free parking with a dedicated attendant to guide you, which is incredibly friendly for self-driving travelers. The parking process was very smooth.
The rooms and facilities are great, making for a very comfortable stay. The overall quality exceeded my expectations. The service also gets extra points; the staff members are highly professional. We arrived quite late after a long journey, and the front desk lady, seeing how tired we were, thoughtfully added two extra breakfasts for us. That truly warmed my heart.
I must also praise the breakfast; it was the most satisfying hotel breakfast I had on this trip, both in terms of variety and taste. The breakfast restaurant also has a fantastic view; sitting by the window, you can even see the golden roof of a temple, which made eating breakfast in the morning incredibly pleasant.
Overall, this hotel excels in every aspect – location, facilities, service, and breakfast experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kangding. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Kangding."

"Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had.
The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing.
Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!"

"This guesthouse is located in the XinDuQiao Ten-Mile Gallery, just a few minutes from town, which is super convenient. There are also many scenic spots nearby to catch the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise. The transportation is excellent. When I checked in, the front desk lady was incredibly welcoming; she even helped me with my luggage and upgraded my room! The underfloor heating was already turned on when I entered, and the room was spotlessly clean. The humidifier was also a powerful one, which was a huge plus for the weather in western Sichuan. The front desk lady had even started the oxygen supply in advance, which really helped with the altitude sickness – big thumbs up! What really stood out was the incredible view from the room; every angle was picture-perfect. They also offer ******* traditional clothing for rent, and the owner has excellent taste – the outfits are beautiful and perfect for photos in the courtyard. In the morning, I opened the window to see horses galloping in the meadows. Honestly, this place is perfect for anyone on vacation or traveling. I genuinely recommend it! I rarely write positive reviews, but I just had to for this hotel. Highly recommend! ˃̶͈ ꇴ ˂̶͈"

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Tagong. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a pleasant surprise, I was even given a free upgrade to a room with a larger bed.
The rooms are brand new and beautifully designed. My room had a magnificent view over the grasslands, which made the stay even more special. Everything felt very comfortable and modern, and the shower was excellent. A particularly thoughtful feature was the built-in oxygen machine, which is very helpful at this altitude.
Breakfast was also great, with a tasty selection that included vegetables, fruits, and some sweets.
Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value for the price. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Tagong."

YYanyanyanerMy boyfriend and I stayed at SAANYU Mountain Inn in Gung Nong Village. The most amazing thing about it was being able to ”lie down and enjoy the view”! Our room window faced the Yala Snow Mountain. No need to rush to the viewing platform in the morning; we could just curl up in bed and wait for the sun to set over the mountain.
Watching the snow-capped peaks slowly turn from gray to golden red, my boyfriend kept snapping photos with his phone. The homestay was very clean, and at night we could hear the stream flowing outside. Just a few steps outside, we were greeted by golden meadows. When the autumn breeze blew, any photo I took turned out to be a gentle couple's photo.

The location is less than 10 min walk from Tagong gompa where public buses and shared taxis are available. Between the gompa and the hotel, you can find some ******* or Sichuan restaurants.
The facility is quite decent and well maintained. Especially, ******* decoration is awesome.
Also, staff members are quite helpful. Though they don't speak English, they took care of me ranging from transportation to food.

882hunsamaThe room was genuinely spacious, and the double bed was impressively large – a great choice for those who appreciate ample space. The mattress comfort was only average, and the pillows were a bit of a letdown, being overly soft and fluffy and offering little to no neck support.
Hotel service was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping team were incredibly warm and accommodating. Extra requests, like additional toothbrushes or blankets, were promptly delivered. The housekeeping staff even helped put on the duvet cover for the extra blanket, a thoughtful gesture as some hotels expect guests to do this themselves.
The room offered a nice mountain view from the window. However, small bugs were quite prevalent, which I found a bit unsettling. The stick-on window screen had started to peel off, leaving gaps and allowing insects in.
The bathroom was also very spacious and featured a smart toilet. However, the hot water pressure in the shower was quite low, which wasn't very refreshing. A full set of disposable toiletries was provided.
Breakfast, served until 9:30 AM, offered a decent variety, including bread, porridge, milk, fruit, and a mix of steamed and fried options. However, freshly cooked noodles or vermicelli were not available. The dining area wasn't very large, so it's best to avoid peak hours.
Free and ample parking was available.

GGuest UserThe lady boss was very welcoming. I suggest you contact the boss in advance because the parking lot is in another place to avoid the difficulty of turning around due to the heavy traffic. The parking lot is close to the hotel on foot. The bed sheets and quilts have a faint scent of laundry detergent. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo. It's pretty good. The standard room for a family of four is still OK. It's not far from Love Song Square and Liuliu City, and you can walk there.

GGuest UserI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.
