Hotels with balcony in Kangding

Solid location, maybe 15 minutes walk from the centre of town but close to the bus stop. Rooms were super clean, bed was on the harder side, but that’s not unusual in China. No western toilets FYI, but very clean toilets for a hostel. Shampoo and soap supplied in the showers. Would stay again.

This hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

Excellent hotel in the borders of the Tagong grasslands. When we arrived, we were a bit worried that it was too far from the town, but the owner gracefully drove us there the next morning. After sitting down and watching the view for a while, we were completely satisfied for having chosen this place. The owner is extremely nice, we talked with him a few times. The hotel is on the land behind his family's home, so it's all very cozy. When we had problems calling a taxi from Muya temple, he went there to pick us up himself. He also assisted us on finding a ride back to Kangding.The ******* breakfast was very good, as well. Even though it is a tent and the toilet is shared, we found it cleaner than almost all hotels in the same price range in China. The beds are also nicely soft.

This hotel was a real gem, exceeding my expectations. Located right on the edge of the grasslands, it's easily accessible by car. The rooms offered stunning views of the grasslands and even a direct view of Yala Snow Mountain. They also served beef and pork rib hot pot, which was great value for money. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, although the ribs were a little salty. The staff were incredibly welcoming and patiently answered all my questions. They even delivered milk to my room in the evening. It's a shame I only had time; otherwise, staying another day would have been wonderful.

The room was overall very good and the breakfast was also very good. It was the neighbor who made a lot of noise on the day we stayed, and we were woken up early in the morning. We arrived at the hotel very late because there were dogs in the hotel. We were afraid of dogs and asked the store boy to help bring them to the hotel. Thank you so much. We were driving from Tagong Grassland to Xinduqiao when we spotted this really unique hotel! ☺️ We immediately pulled over to check it out. The price was right, so we booked it online on the spot. The front desk lady was incredibly patient and super nice. She showed us a couple of rooms 😆 and the views from both were stunning. My sister ended up choosing the room with the curved balcony. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. My Apple Watch even showed my sleep quality score as 90! That night, it snowed – experiencing all four seasons in one day on the plateau is no exaggeration! The room had underfloor heating, so it was warm and not dry at all. For breakfast, my favorites were the steamed dumplings and the tremella soup. Just look at the pictures for the comparison! 😘 Snow-capped mountains, high-altitude lakes, prayer flags, and meadows were all within sight. We even encountered some falling snow along the way – that's the ultimate romance unique to western Sichuan. Encountering the most breathtaking scenery in the shortest amount of time. The facilities are complete, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is right on National Highway 318, which is very convenient for travel. The night view of Liuliu City is very beautiful, but parking is not easy. The store provides pick-up and drop-off services, which is very considerate! Children like the small playground in the hotel very much. There is a book bar on it where you can read books. The breakfast area is very beautiful, opposite the mountain. It feels great to have breakfast among the hydrangeas and mountain clouds!

The guesthouse was easy to find and conveniently located close to the city center. The place itself was lovely, spotless, and hygienic. The underfloor heating was incredibly warm – I didn't feel cold at all! The guesthouse hostess was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm usually a bit introverted, but her proactive greeting made me feel completely at ease. For breakfast, she served homemade porridge, eggs, steamed buns, and twisted rolls. The steamed sweet potatoes were exceptionally soft, tender, and sweet – so delicious I almost asked her where she bought them! Next time I'm in Kangding, I'll definitely stay here again!

The location is relatively easy to find, just navigate to it. The boss is very attentive and attentive. What can I say about the location? You can see the snow-capped mountains when you look up. If you want to take some good photos, you can walk for a few minutes. You can go to the boss’s house to eat special ******* food in the morning, and there is also a barbecue in the evening (I tried the boss’s beef and sold it at various attractions), which is a good choice. Disadvantages: 1. It is indeed a bit cold at night. There is an electric blanket here, but it is still difficult to use the toilet (I went there at 51). 2 It's not a private bathroom, how can I put it? The advantage of this hotel is that it is a 1-minute walk from Liuliu City. Kangding Liuliu City is the most lively. The disadvantage is that the whole building is full of different hotels. It is not an exaggeration to say that there are about a dozen rooms. The rooms feel a bit complicated. The fire protection facilities do not seem to be sufficient. So I don’t feel safe living there.
