This hotel is located near many of Daocheng County's attractions including Daocheng County Yading Balala Cultural Museum, Shano Dorje and Daocheng Yading Viewing Platform. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. "This was the perfect place to stay inside of Yading Village. If you can handle the altitude, I can't recommend it enough. It was much easier to access the activities within the scenic area, as you avoid the 45 minute bus ride from Shangri-la Town/Riwa into the scenic area. Plus, staying overnight at altitude helps your body adapt and reduced the likelihood of altitude sickness in the higher parts of the scenic area. Staff did not speak English, but were still very helpful and accommodating. I believe my room was upgraded to a duplex suite, which was massive, especially for the price I paid. The view from the room was absolutely incredible, I only wish the windows were cleaner so that I could see it more clearly. But there is a courtyard on the top level that is perfect for taking photos and admiring the view, especially at golden hour. The one cleanliness comment I have is that I wish the trash can in the toilet room had a lid, as it started to smell a bit despite being emptied daily."

"From check-in to check-out, everything was thoughtful. The concierge and front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, even thoughtfully preparing brown sugar ginger tea and welcome fruits. Facilities: The hotel has a 24-hour medical oxygen bar, and just 10 minutes there quickly relieves altitude sickness. The rooms have a diffuse medical oxygen supply, which lowers the perceived altitude to about 2700 meters, allowing for a good night's sleep. Service: As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a butler helped with our luggage and escorted us to our room after check-in. The next morning, when we were checking out, the front desk proactively asked if we needed help with our luggage, which was a very thoughtful touch. Hygiene: The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, was clean, tidy, and well-ventilated. The lobby was also kept spotless at all times. The airport shuttle stop is right outside the hotel, and booking certain room types includes a free airport drop-off, making it the best choice for return journeys."

"This was a perfect place to spend the night in Daocheng before a flight the next morning. It is only a 15 minute walk away from the White Pagoda, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful with figuring out logistics for getting to the airport and recommending activities and restaurants in the area (Make sure to have WeChat set up). One of the ladies spoke fairly good English too. My one complaint is that the tap water seemed to have a slight brown hue to it, especially when using warm/hot water. This showed up in both the sink and shower. Thus, I did not want to use the tap water to brush my teeth or to filter for drinking, which has not been a concern of mine anywhere else in China. Because I usually use a water filter to drink the tap, I did not have extra bottled water prepared beforehand. Some is provided, but if you think you'll use/drink a lot of water (as I do, especially because of how dry it is in Daocheng), buy some extra beforehand."

"Great location just a few minutes walk from park entrance, restaurants and pharmacies. Our room had nice view, humidifier, nice restroom with large shower, great hot water pressure, ”western” toilet. We were on third floor, no elevator (no problem for us because this trip we were picking light). Simple and crowded breakfast (which is understandable due to the very high tourism season and very nice weather)."

Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains. Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map. "This time, we drove to Daocheng Yading, and this hotel stay was excellent in all aspects. The service was particularly warm and welcoming. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and offered great value for money. They also provide free shuttle service to the scenic spots, which was a huge plus. The only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak; if that were improved, it would be perfect."

"I have to rave about the hotel lobby's lounge area – it's so thoughtful! There are complimentary snacks like local dried apples and pears on the tables, and free rhodiola rosea tea to help with altitude sickness, plus three other drinks to choose from. The scenic photos of the Yading Nature Reserve displayed nearby really show off its beauty. The TV was playing Yading travel tips, so I could relax, sip tea, and learn about the area at the same time. Big thumbs up! The room was spacious and very quiet, so I slept really well. Breakfast was also satisfying. I never expected to find such a gem of a hotel in the ******* region. Great value for money!"

"It is clean since it is newly built. Located at the end of the tourist street, it is quiet and close to amenities such as restaurants and shops. If you need a vehicle, I recommend booking through the hotel. We booked the largest room, but it was disappointing because it was slightly different from the photos provided. Although the staff member explained it sufficiently, it was difficult to accept. We chose this room because we needed a sofa and chairs for a three-day stay with three people, as well as a room with a good view. However, there was no sofa, only one chair, and many aspects were different from the photos. If these aspects are improved, other travelers will be able to stay with a pleasant experience."

AAlenK.This hotel truly excels in all four aspects: location, amenities, views, and service. 1. **Location**: Situated at Yading Village Station 3, it's perfect for those planning a two-day trip. You won't have to endure the 40-minute one-way shuttle ride back and forth. The hotel is only a 12-minute drive from the shuttle bus terminal and is right at the entrance of Station 3. You don't need to walk an extra step. You can even wait for the shuttle while taking photos on a swing chair in the lobby or the small courtyard, as you can see the snow-capped mountains from anywhere in the hotel (see photo 1, taken this morning). 2. **Amenities**: They provide a Dyson hairdryer, 'Black Sister' toothpaste, a large jar of freshly cut kumquat and lemon fruit tea, and four separate fruit platters. Each room comes with a small wooden table, a vintage tea set, and two packets of tea. There's also a private balcony where you can step out. You can brew tea and take your wooden tray tea set out to take pictures. 3. **Oxygen Supply**: Oxygen is supplied 24 hours a day, unlike many hotels that only offer it from 7 PM to 7 AM. It's a diffused oxygen supply with 24% oxygen concentration. Hotels in Litang typically only reach 21%. If you have an oxygen bag, you can even refill it in your room as the interface is compatible. 4. **Service**: Around 8 PM, I felt cold and asked the front desk to check if the air conditioning was working correctly. Without a word, the front desk brought up a massive heater that could reach a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius. You'll sleep soundly and won't get cold, and it's completely silent. 5. **Luggage Service**: If you're staying at the hotel with luggage and find it inconvenient to carry to the attractions the next day, you can store it at the front desk. You also won't have to worry about wasting time and queuing for another shuttle to pick up your luggage at the station on your return journey. A front desk staff member will wait for you at the station with your luggage after your return bus departs. You don't even need to get off; they'll load your luggage directly onto the shuttle bus. Nice! 6. **Convenience Store**: If you're short on food, there's a small supermarket about 50 meters from the hotel. A bowl of braised beef noodles costs only 7 yuan – grab it! This is inside a scenic area; at the visitor center, it would start at 20 yuan.

GGuest UserVisiting Yading nature reserve is a once in a lifetime experience and staying in the village itself was a must for me. This hotel must have one of the best views in Yading village. It's situated right at the top of the village. The location is convenient right next to bus stop 1. The front desk staff member Simone is very responsive and will try her best to help with anything you need. There is a lot of options for breakfast and the food tastes great. The rooms are really bright and comfortable. The shower is great and the hot water comes quickly. They provide tea for free and 2 bottles of drinking water. Above all I think the price of the room is really great value.

The couples also very helpful in getting me the transportation into the national park as well as to the airport. Very clean comfortable rooms with extremely hot showers, amenities included. Excellent view (highly recommend getting the snow mountain view room). Staff and owners are really kind and helpful. They’ll explain which routes to go if you are hiking up. They do provide electric blankets, didn’t use the electric heater but it is available for colder months. They have their own restaurant which is very convenient and food was delicious! Simple Chinese breakfast included would have liked to have been able to take some food away to eat along the way as wanted to start the hike earlier could consider asking the staff is this would be possible. Do keep in mind the shuttle bus going up to the scenic site can be quite full so do plan ahead. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

TToon_mThe hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs. We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog! We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view. The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy. Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious. They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

GGuest UserThe first thing I remember was the in-house restaurant. For someone who doesn't really into too spicy, oily or salty foods, the restaurant's dinner was just nice for my stomach. I had 2 good dinners inside the hotel. Secondly, the location is very strategic, where it just right beside station 3 inside Yading Village. I'm glad to stay here as a solo traveller, as I can just hop on any of the bus into the national park, at any time, which take less than 15min to arrive, compare an hour If coming from the town. Anyhow, there are 2 areas of improvement for the entire stay. Upon check in, there was no explanation at all on how to use the Humidifier, floor heater as well as built in oxygen. To be honest, all these are something new to me, even though it looked simple to just on the button. But I'm not sure if it's considered working. Throughout the 2nights stayed, I don't think the floor heater was working, as I don't feel anything. Same goes to the water heater, it's doesn't work in my first night, I had to shower in cold. I did brought all the concern to the owner, but unfortunately, he doesn't seems to concern. In my opinion, he is not really a friendly type. But he still answers all my questions. For someone who doesn't really need any personal touch, this place still a nice place to stay.

There's a pretty famous restaurant not far downstairs. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small; we ended up parking on the street.

It's right on the road that will take you straight to the main entrance to Yading Scenic Area (about 6km, taxi 40RMB or 10RMB per person if carpooling). During check-in the nice ******* lady at reception upgraded my room at no extra cost. Place is clean above usual Chinese standards. If you want a heater is 5RMB per night, but the electric blanket was sufficient. Water is warm, but not scalding (personally I only take showers at +45 degrees, but it was enough to wash my face without discomfort). I was very happy with my stay so next morning I booked another night, rather than staying in Yading town. When I returned very late at night, and owing to my pickiness when it comes to food, the lady at the desk made me quick and delicious fried rice and wouldn't accept my money no matter how many times I offered. I would have stayed another night if I didn't have to leave next morning. Thanks for everything, I'll be back one day!
