The room was quite spacious, and it's a newly opened hotel. Due to the water quality in Shangri-La, they proactively provided plenty of bottled water. I requested a quiet room, and the view from the window was beautiful. There was a Guozhuang dance happening in the square downstairs, and the firewood chicken was also delicious. The only issue, as always after entering Sichuan, was the unstable shower water temperature. Also, the motion sensor light at the entrance stayed on for too long; it took ages to turn off.

Wow, what a hotel! It’s 1min walking from the 2nd stop of the tourist shuttle you take when you want to enter the scenic area. The view from the window and the rooftop is incredible! The team was extremely kind and helpful and even prepared vegan food for us and upgraded us. Inside the room, there’s a humidifier and electric blanket - perfect for a cosy evening after a long day of hiking. There’s also a little supermarket next door that has everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend!

An excellent hotel, I was very satisfied with my stay. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic with their service. They helped us with taxis, and even offered foot bath tubs when they saw we were tired upon our return. The breakfast selection was decent, and there was even a late-night congee service. The laundry room was very convenient with many washers and dryers, and they even offered wash and dry service. I slept very comfortably; the pillows were amazing (I asked if they were for sale but they weren't), and the mattress was also very comfortable. All the staff members throughout the hotel were excellent. This is a hotel worth staying at, it was the best hotel experience of our trip. I highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Overall, it's pretty good. It's right in the center of Shangri-La Town, with plenty of restaurants, pharmacies, and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. It's also not far from the Daocheng Yading scenic area. The hotel has parking and oxygen concentrators available for rent. The decor is quite unique and it's relatively quiet.

This hotel in Shangri-La Town is excellent, offering great value for money! The environment is clean and tidy. While it might not compare to chain hotels, it's still very good overall. The location is a bit away from the busy downtown area, making it very quiet, yet it's only a 5-minute walk to dining options. The service is superb; the front desk staff are great, and the shuttle driver is also very good, using a comfortable business van. (P.S. From Daocheng Yading, the driver at the entrance charged 14RMB per person, but we got a round-trip shuttle for 40+ RMB for three people.) In summary, if you're visiting Daocheng Yading, staying here is definitely your best choice!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay after driving there. The hotel parking lot was spacious and easy to park in. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft, the soundproofing was excellent, and the hot water was reliable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, even providing directions to the surrounding area. It was convenient for getting around, and the price was great. I felt very comfortable staying here after a long journey, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

The hotel was really great. There’s an elevator, so no need to worry about carrying luggage up the stairs. We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog! We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view. The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy. Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious. They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

Xiaodong have been really helpful giving us suggestions and helping us on logistics. He went above and beyond trying to fix something for us upon knowing Yading Park was closed for a day due to sudden snow, unfortunately even the shorter route was not possible. As we took the bus from Shangri-La and wanted to go to Kangding by bus on return, this is the perfect spot as it's a few minutes walk from and to Yading bus station, and surrounded by several restaurants, convenient stores and souvenir shops. One thing to note is the signage of the hotel says 'First Hotel' so look out for this instead, though taxi drivers do know them by Chujian Art Hotel. I feel the hotel / rooms are a bit run down. There are rooms for the hotel to improve, like cleanliness as I noticed some stains on carpet floors and pillows. Some items are about to be broken/fall apart. Next to the sink, would be great to have a little shelf to put soap holder, and guests can place their personal toiletries. Adding a doormat in front of bathroom would be great as the tiles are slippery when wet. Do specify if you want your bed to be made as well: otherwise, the maid would just clean the trash and supply toiletries, water.
