GGuest UserThe hotel is excellent, with excellent facilities, service, and dining in every aspect. The room is unique, with a lovely ******* incense scent, comfortable bedding, and a view of the snow-capped mountains from the curtains. The service was excellent, with oxygen and floor heating pre-set before arrival. There was a welcome song at the reception, and the local staff were lovely. I have a very light palate, and the hotel adapted the food to our tastes. I particularly enjoyed the radish and lamb soup; it was perfect for my taste. The most thoughtful thing was that after asking if the hotel had sanitary napkins that night, they prepared a special hot drink for me at breakfast the next morning. These little touches were truly heartwarming.

Ppauliwan01The room was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, offering great value for money. The guesthouse's location is excellent, right across from the bridge in Shangri-La town, providing a beautiful view. Waking up and taking a stroll on the bridge to see the clear stream was truly idyllic. It's also not far from the Daocheng Yading scenic area, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, they have an underground parking lot with slow charging stations, which was incredibly convenient.

AAnonymous UserBest stay in Western Sichuan, located within the daocheng yading park (second stop, 2 mins walk from the bus stop). Very clean comfortable rooms with extremely hot showers, amenities included. Excellent view (highly recommend getting the snow mountain view room). Staff and owners are really kind and helpful. They’ll explain which routes to go if you are hiking up. They do provide electric blankets, didn’t use the electric heater but it is available for colder months. They have their own restaurant which is very convenient and food was delicious! Simple Chinese breakfast included would have liked to have been able to take some food away to eat along the way as wanted to start the hike earlier could consider asking the staff is this would be possible. Do keep in mind the shuttle bus going up to the scenic site can be quite full so do plan ahead. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

We arrived at ฺBus Stop 2 and the hotel staff came out to help us with our bags — plus we were warmly greeted by an adorable dog!
We chose a triple room, and the space was comfortable and sufficient for everyone. Our room faced the front with a beautiful mountain view.
The beds also had electric mattress warmers, which made our sleep very cozy.
Breakfast was good, and the stir-fried vegetables were delicious.
They also provide hiking poles that guests can borrow.

GGuest UserMind-blowing! The views from this hotel are absolutely out of this world! You can lie in bed and gaze at snow-capped mountains and the starry night sky, then wake up to the spectacular 'Golden Peaks' phenomenon bathed in morning sunlight. Seriously, you just have to experience it!
The service was incredibly thoughtful. Our lovely ******* hostess proactively contacted us after booking, explaining how to enter the scenic area, providing important details and essential tips. We received such a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, situated right inside the Yading scenic area, making it super easy to get around. The overall experience was absolutely perfect! Everyone needs to visit Daocheng Yading at least once in their lifetime!

GGuest UserThe hotel might look old, BUT it has a grand view! The view from either my room or the rooftop is incredible! I visited in May 2026 and I can see BOTH the golden sunrise and the golden sunset from here. The hotel owner was also nice eventhough we did not talk much. Prepare your cold clothes, so you can enjoy the incredible view comfortably. PS: My room which was on the 3rd floor, was also clean eventhough they don't have elevator, so you have to use stairs if you stay here. But I would say it was an amazing stay for me.

GGuest UserThis is probably the best hotel in Shangri-La. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and they offer a post-hike foot massage. The front desk agent, Xiaolin, was very friendly and attentive, even helping me order oxygen tanks. I absolutely had to order the medical-grade 58-yuan tank; other 20-30 yuan tanks wouldn't work. The 58-yuan tank is high-pressure pure oxygen, and a few deep puffs are incredibly effective when I have a headache. I used four tanks and it worked flawlessly. Milk Lake is 5,500 meters above sea level, a nearly 20-kilometer round trip. With only 120 tickets available per day, I only managed to avoid the 8-kilometer round trip. Unless you arrive at the scenic area by 7 a.m., you'll never get a ticket. A must-have for hiking!

GGuest UserWow, this is fantastic! The hotel has a large courtyard, and parking is free for those driving, so you don't need to worry about finding a spot. There are free oxygen concentrators in the lobby, and you can fill oxygen bags for free. The front desk staff are very welcoming and quick to check in. They even provided free travel guides for Yading and the surrounding area, and recommended nearby restaurants. They proactively helped with our luggage. The rooms were clean, spacious, and great value for money. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the town center. The rooms were well-equipped, and you can call the front desk anytime you need anything. There's also a free washing machine on the third floor. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel and highly recommended!
