"The Howard Johnson hotel is incredibly close to Changsha Huanghua Airport. While they do offer shuttle service, if you don't have too much luggage, walking to the airport is perfectly fine. The hotel rooms are very spacious, easily accommodating a family of three. There are also plenty of great restaurants, snacks, and night markets nearby. The only downside is that the rooms are carpeted, and they look incredibly dirty. Carpets are notoriously good at trapping dust, and these were indeed very dusty. Plus, the hotel's housekeeping clearly falls short, as many fixtures had visible dust on them."

I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk upgraded my room for free and gave me complimentary breakfast. The room was fully smart and very comfortable, with the temperature and humidity just right. After a whole day of traveling, I fell asleep soundly almost immediately. In the morning, I woke up to my alarm and went down for breakfast. The Changsha rice noodles were absolutely delicious; I devoured two bowls! Back in the room, I discovered that the window could actually open for ventilation, which was a huge plus ✨. My stay at the Vocca Hotel was truly amazing, I honestly feel like I made the right choice. Thumbs up! 👍"

The front desk lady was super responsible; she contacted us in advance to arrange the room, even put the beds together for us, and upgraded our room! However, the soundproofing of the rooms is practically nonexistent; you can clearly hear even quiet conversations from the next room.
