"Its a 10-min walk from the nearest train station. It has a beautiful view from the balcony where u can sit and have a coffee. Spacious room and had a bath tub so its a plus point. The room is clean. I love everything abt this place. Will definitely recommend this to our friends and families"

"I specifically booked a room with a Matterhorn view, but was extremely disappointed to find a metal scaffolding directly obstructing the view from my window. The hotel did not notify or explain this either prior to my arrival or during check-in. Furthermore, the dinner main course offered no options, consisting only of cheese, pickles, and three small potatoes."

"The room was clean, just as shown in the photos. I could see the Matterhorn from the window, which was perfect. Just keep in mind that you need to climb quite a lot of stairs to reach the hostel. There is no elevator, and since I stayed on the highest floor, it was a bit exhausting. Apart from the stairs, everything was perfect."

"1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4 pm, it is impossible to manually check-in. The machine can be on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered the problem of credit card payment errors. After the call service staff waited for 15 minutes for people to come over to solve it. The service attitude is very good, but this is really inconvenient, especially after we slipped for a day of snow, and pulled the big box and small box very hard to get here.
If it arrives at 4 pm, it is recommended to go to the next Alpen Resort hotel (the message is in the first picture) first check-in and then come over, otherwise you have to be frozen if you can't get in. 😅
2. The hotel is very good, the room is large, you can cook, we ate a few days of white rice can not stand, go to the COOP supermarket next to buy ingredients, make the simplest and most classic tomato scrambled eggs, chili fried meat, green vegetables, very satisfied 🤭
3. The room has a balcony, you can sit on the balcony to watch the snow-capped mountains and the town scenery and drink beer, it must be very pleasant. However, we were too tired to ski for a day and it was very cold, so we didn't enjoy 👻"

"The hotel was quite easy to find actually. Just follow the directions on Google Map. We had the family room which was at the top level (2 flight of stairs) and comes with a balcony. Their rooms don't have matterhorn views but the breakfast restaurant has a beautiful and clear view. Very comfy and no frills stay here!"

"The room is small and cozy for two people but if there are three people then there is hardly any space to move around after unfolding the sofa bed. So, it’s okay if you plan to stay for 2 nights.
It was interesting that they offered free beverage coupons if you don’t avail housekeeping services.
The receptionist in the evening was very cheerful and jolly for a good conversation to hear about local news."

"A 3 minute walk from the train station right off of the Main Street in Zermatt and a block away from McDonald’s lol. Super clean, super cute room. The bathroom was older but I was fine with it bc it was well maintained and clean. They provided a hot water kettle and cup which I used every morning. They didn’t provide coffee, but the Coop market was down the street so I was able to get the things I needed for breakfast. There is a very mini fridge in the room, big enough for small things. "The hotel is located on the main street of Zermatt and it is very convenient to get off the train for two minutes.
The room is large in size and the decoration style is elegant and comfortable. There is a balcony to see Matt Peak. The only inconvenience is that because it is a slope roof on the top of the bed, there is a cross beam that is easy to hit the head. It takes a few times to pay attention to ⚠️
The hotel's breakfast was great, with more varieties and fresh and delicious ingredients. The service staff was also polite and thoughtful.
The town is not big, and the dining and shopping around the hotel are very convenient."

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

Our stay at Beausite Zermatt was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel looked after throughout our visit. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, combining classic Swiss charm with modern comfort. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered breathtaking views of the Matterhorn — truly unforgettable. The wellness area was a highlight, especially after a day exploring Zermatt, with excellent spa facilities that were both relaxing and well organised. Breakfast was generous and high quality, with a wide selection to suit all tastes, and the dining experience overall was refined yet comfortable. The location is also ideal — peaceful, yet within easy walking distance of the village and transport. Beasite Zermatt delivers luxury without feeling pretentious, paired with genuine hospitality. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt.

The hotel was in 5 minutes walking from Zermatt train station and it offered free shuttle for check in and out as there was a steep path to the hotel entrance, not good to walk with luggages. I booked 2 bedrooms family suite but only with one bathroom which was the downside. However, the total space of 60 meter sq with a decent living room and a small balcony facing Matterhorn were a plus to the overall stay. There were some minor defects and the staff fixed efficiently. They had an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna room. I had to mention that the jacuzzi was of high standard and you must go after a day of hiking. So bring your swimming suit. However, please note that in there culture, no clothes are allowed to enter the sauna room and it is in mixed genders. The breakfast buffet was lack of choices. But I had to specially name Mr Fernando, he always welcome us with very good coffee and of course his warm greetings in the morning. Suggestion to the hotel: 1. Stated clearly the number of bathroom/ toilet in the booking details regarding my booking is a 2 bedrooms suite. 2. More choices for breakfast, my family stays 4 nights there. Everyday, the menu is same. 3. The pool was closed at 8pm, will be better if it closes at 9pm as it was rather rush for the guests to use after dinner. Overall, I recommend this hotel to family. I will come back again.

Location was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station! Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc. the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available. The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always willing to assist when needed. Upon arriving in Zermatt and taking the Gornergrat Bahn, it is highly recommended to call the hotel in advance so they can arrange luggage pickup at Riffelberg station. Pulling luggage by yourself can be quite challenging, as the path involves walking through snow and crossing ski areas. One of the highlights of this hotel is the breathtaking and unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The mountain is clearly visible from the hotel area, and there is truly no need to go elsewhere just to enjoy this iconic view. The outdoor jacuzzi is a wonderful feature; however, on some days the water temperature was not warm enough, making it comfortable to use only on certain occasions. Dinner is served as a set course menu. Each evening, there are two main dish options: one meat dish (which changes daily, such as beef, pork, or fish) and one vegetarian option. The food quality is very good and tasty, but the service is relatively slow — completing the full course takes around two hours. The hotel is well equipped with an elevator that provides access to all floors, which is very convenient, especially when carrying belongings.

Zermatt is an expensive town so we were happy we could save a bit with the hotel. We were worried at first based on the reviews saying it was a bit noisy but we had no issues up on the higher floor we stayed on. We would recommend this hotel if you're staying for just a night or two and are looking to control your budget while in Zermatt because eating out and the activities here are expensive. The room was just a place to sleep. We had two twin beds with slats underneath that were a bit loose and they fell out when I sat down but after we fixed it we found the beds to be comfy enough. The rooms are dated with older furniture and a mix of furniture and lighting. There was a small TV and a DVD player but we saw no need to use them with all the things to do and see in Zermatt. We did hear a little bit of noise from the bars at the street level but it wasn't too bad. If you get a lower floor you may want to consider bringing your own earplugs. The bathroom was interesting. There was a pretty big jacuzzi style bath tub with a shower head attachment - I am tall and I had to sit down to shower but my shorter wife had no issues. The bathroom had a towel warming rack with an interesting extension to hang light clothing but it did not warm. The lighting was a little dim but the lights above the sink did not work and those would have helped. The breakfast at the hotel was nice and they had a nice variety of fruit, breads, Swiss cheese and some hardboiled egg. They had juice, milk and could make coffee to order as well. The hotel had laundry machines and some popular restaurants on site. The location is the best part about this hotel. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station and very centrally located. It is close to the Gornergrat Bahn, Matterhorn Museum and the church Eglise St. Mauritius. The viewing platform of the Matterhorn at the church is great to watch the sunrise hit the tip of the Matterhorn and it is not too busy so if you have a clear day it is worth the short walk and getting up early. We went in early November so not all the hotels, shops and restaurants were open yet but there was more than enough open to keep us happy. The hotel does not have an elevator and the stairs are a little narrow so do not bring too much to visit Zermatt. We loved Zermatt and appreciated this hotel for its affordability and location. If you are not looking for anything too fancy the Hotel Helvetia will work for sleeping and some down time. It is important to note that Zermatt does not allow cars but we found parking affordable and accessible at Täsch railway station and very frequent train service to and from Zermatt.
