Hotel Butterfly ★★★
"Very nice hotel and very clean Breakfast is very good I like this hotel and if I come to Zermatt next trip , I will choose your hotel absolutely"
3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat ★★★
"Fantastic"
Alpenblick Superior ★★★
"It was relatively inexpensive compared to other accommodations in the city. I was very satisfied. The staff's service was warm, and the breakfast was great, with cheese tasting. The interior was also nice. The balcony of the guest room is shared with other rooms. Matterhorn is covered by trees, so you can't see it very well from the balcony. However, there is a nice view spot just a short walk from the hotel towards the mountain, which I liked. The sauna can be used from 4:00 p.m. In case of bad weather, it will be opened before 4:00 p.m. It is a place where you can do 90-degree self-loyly, and there is no cold bath, but towels are provided, one shower room, a rest area, a water dispenser, and a toilet in the area. There are no separate changing rooms or lockers for men and women. We each used the clothes rack in the room or the chairs in the rest area, leaving our belongings there. There didn't seem to be any particular rules about wearing swimsuits, and there were both men and women wearing swimsuits. The location is a little far from the main station (about 11 minutes), and if you go through Oberdorfstrasse as per Google Maps, there is a long cobblestone area on the way, so it is difficult to carry a suitcase. However, if you walk along the river (Bachstrasse), which may be a little longer, it is a flat road, so I think it will be a solution."
Alpenhotel Fleurs de Zermatt ★★★★
"The hotel does not provide kettles. When asked, they said it was not allowed. I have been to three or four countries in Europe, and almost every hotel is equipped with kettles. This hotel told me that it was not allowed. It feels strange. In addition, the service attitude is a bit impatient. I suggest going to an apartment about 200 meters away. The facilities are modern and spacious, and there is an induction cooker, which is very convenient. The scenery is not bad, and you can see the top of the Matterhorn."
Hotel Jägerhof ★★★
"Room was a good size and has everything you can need. Hotel is in a quiet area and has a pizza place right round the corner which we patronised daily :) Would go back again!"
Beausite Zermatt ★★★★
"The rooms were very clean. The facilities and amenities were excellent, and there was even a spa. The location was great, with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was also delicious, considering it was a Swiss hotel. I felt that this hotel was of a very high standard for a hotel in Zermatt."
Hotel Simi ★★★★
"SO BEAUTIFUL & we got a free upgrade upon arrival..🥹 Nice view, high level & super cosy environment, HUGE ROOM!! Would love to stay here again the next time I visit!"
Peaky Riders Self Check-in Hotel ★★
"I'm very satisfied with the price of this stay in Zermatt. The window is open and the breeze outside is very cool. Everything is self-service, which is very suitable for me! It's a ten-minute walk from the city center, which is acceptable."
Hotel Phoenix ★★★
"The Hotel Phoenix is exactly what you hope to find in the Swiss Alps – a quaint, family-run hotel that truly embodies the spirit of hospitality. The location is unbeatable: an easy walk to town, the ski lifts, and the train station, making it incredibly convenient whether you’re hitting the slopes or exploring Zermatt. What sets this place apart is the genuine care you feel from the moment you arrive. The owner is there from sunrise to sunset, and it shows in every detail. They’re deeply committed to both hospitality and sustainability, taking energy conservation seriously without compromising comfort. The breakfast spread is excellent, and the dedicated ski room at a separate entrance makes storing your gear effortless. The balcony views of the Matterhorn are absolutely spectacular – worth waking up early for. We can’t recommend Hotel Phoenix highly enough. It’s the perfect blend of location, comfort, and heartfelt service that makes a ski trip truly memorable."

Schweizerhof Zermatt - a Small Luxury Hotel
"Very nice hotel in the center of the village, very pleasant welcome"
The Omnia
"The hotel room has a direct view of the Matterhorn. After arriving in Zermatt, you can contact the hotel to pick you up at the train station. Otherwise, it is difficult to find the hotel entrance. It is a small alley and then a cave. The room is large and comfortable. It would be nice if I could stay in the town for a few more days."
Grand Hotel Zermatterhof
"The room is very nice. The location is excellent. You can see the Matterhorn mountain view, sunrise and sunset. The surrounding transportation is convenient. It is not far from the train station, about 500 meters, but it is all uphill. The hotel itself has a shuttle bus, but I didn't know it when I booked the hotel, so I had to drag my luggage for several hundred meters to the hotel after getting off the train. The breakfast was okay. The service staff was satisfactory. There was a capsule coffee machine in the room, and a few bottles of water were given. There were free soft drinks in the minibar, but alcohol was charged. However, unlike other hotels, it would not be stated what was free and what needed to be paid. I still called the front desk to find out. I think this should be improved. It is more warm to have free chocolates and red wine. Overall, it was not bad. The deduction was that the items mentioned above were not written very clearly."
Riffelalp Resort 2222m
"beautiful location, have to pay for train up to the resort but the facilities and everything are well worth the extra cost."
Zermatt Budget Rooms
"The reception staff were very polite and helpful. Although I'm not fluent in English, they explained everything slowly and clearly. My room had a bathroom in the basement. It was hot in Zermatt the day I stayed, so it was stuffy and humid unless I kept the windows and doors open. The room had a kettle and a coffee maker. The cleaning staff showed me how to use the coffee maker. Thank you! The bathroom had both a bathtub and a separate shower stall. The spa also had a pool, sauna, and hot springs, and included complimentary drinks, making it very comfortable. If I ever go to Zermatt again, I would like to stay here again. Breakfast was delicious. The vegetables tasted fresh. The menu varied daily, which was enjoyable."
La Perle Apartments
"Great location, big and clean room with great kitchen, nice balcony. Enjoyed this hotel a lot. 4 mins walk to sunrise photo taking spot."
Alpen Resort - Spa & Dining
"Enjoy my stay in this resort during my zermatt trip. Can see nice matterhorn view in the morning from the room. Nice breakfast. Will recommend."
Arca Aparthotel & Spa
"Overall, I had a great experience with the Hotel Arca Solebad & Spa ; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful and clean."
Naco Aparthotel by Arca Spa
"Stayed here for six days and was very satisfied"
Hotel Capricorn
"The location isn't exactly close, but it's alright. Room"
Hotel Antika
"Very nice, you can see the Matterhorn"
Hotel Pollux
"The hotel in Zermatt is relatively small. It is not as good as the one we stayed in before, but the cleanliness is not bad. The only dissatisfaction is that we booked a room for two, but the front desk told us when we stored our luggage. It was said that it could only accommodate one person. If two people wanted to stay, we would have to pay extra. The front desk said it would cost 50 Swiss francs. We agreed. Later, when we officially checked in at the hotel, the front desk said that we would have to pay 69 Swiss francs and waited for us to check out. At that time, they said the total was 77 Swiss francs. In the end, we gave a total of 77 Swiss francs. I think the front desk here needs to be trained uniformly. It makes us very unhappy to keep adding money."
Zermatt Youth Hostel
"Great location and nice views. The service was excellent! Remember to store your luggage at the train station, as there are many slopes around the hotel, and carrying your bags can be quite tiring."
Hotel Adonis
"The hotel is a bit far from train station which you need to walk up some slope but it is perfectly clean and equipped. I live the little kitchen at the basement. Front desk are always friendly and helpful. Though the breakfast area is not big but the food variety had more than I expected and the quality is good. Thank you."
Hotel Ambiance
"Clean and Comfortable room, also friendly and helpful staff:)"
Hotel Parnass
"The hotel is not far, within walking distance from the train station. The room i chose has a balcony that can see the Matterhorn directly."
