Good
SSophie W⃣A very satisfying stay.
Cleanliness: Apart from the small space, the cleanliness and service were excellent.
Environment: It's also very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and the surrounding area, with many snack shops, which is super convenient.
Excellent value for money.
Would come again.
KKristinaa_kmI stayed for three nights. The hosts was polite, the room was clean. The bed linen and the towels were disposable, there were shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. No hair dryer was provided :(
The location is super - it is in the old town and it takes a couple of minutes to get to the sights.
If I stayed in Macau again, I would choose this hotel
GGuest UserMy girlfriend and I stayed here once before, and I still choose this hotel when I'm on business trips alone. The location is quite convenient for getting around, and there are many good restaurants nearby. Overall, I think it offers good value for money.
CChenchendemeihaoshenghuoI chose the Hou Kong Hotel this time and was very satisfied. You can take bus 25 from The Venetian to Shui Kang Mei, and the hotel is right across the road. The soundproofing is excellent; with the windows closed, you barely hear a thing. A special thanks to the two front desk staff, Picky and Edie, who were very kind, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude! There are also plenty of dining options around the hotel!
GGuest UserThe place was very convenient and highly accessible to Senado Square. There’s a nearby 24/7 convenience store and the place is surrounded by plenty of food options. The place was clean, and everything worked perfectly during my stay.
I arrived close to midnight, and while the staff when I checked-in was a local with limited English, I was still able to go through the check-in procedure smoothly. The staffs were friendly and accommodating, especially the morning shift, which was a fellow Filipino so it was easier to ask for some recommendations around the area.
Overall, I highly recommend this place! For directions, simply search Naughty Nuri on Google Maps. The alley on the left side will lead you to the accommodation.
BBcaaaChoosing to stay at Macau Oh Be Cheerful Inn was absolutely the right decision! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the access control system made us feel very secure. The location is excellent, making it convenient and quick to get to all the major attractions. What touched us most was on our last day when we were leaving, the owner was incredibly warm and helpful. Not only did they help us carry our large luggage downstairs, but they also personally called a taxi for us and saw us off into the car. This kind of personal touch is really rare in Macau, and I highly recommend it!
CClaire ArranguezThis was our second time checking in at this hotel. First was in 2018 and it's way cleaner than it is now. However, location's right in Senado Square, close to main attractions in Taipa. The room was also spacious, as well as the beds. Another big con is the floors reeking of cigarette smoke despite the signs of NO SMOKING. They should impose it stricter to avoid affecting non-smoking individuals. The carpets need a good replacement. If this hotel cleans their room better, the standard will so much better as well! A small fridge will also be very helpful. Every hotel room should have them now, I believe. Nonetheless, it's enough for a place to rest.
GGuest UserIt is my first time to book through trip.com and i will rate 5 star for our trip.Happy Family Hotel or Hotel Familia Feliz is in good location, walking distance to Ruins of St Paul, Cathedral of the Nativity of our Lady, St Dominic etc…. As well to senado square to Casino’s it is at the back of Lisboa ****** Hotel very accessible to buses, the room is small but it is very clean, the front desk is english speaking, they are filipino even chinese front desk can speak english they have wifi and some complimentary water, you can make your coffee they provide electric kettle in every room, what i really like is the elevator, it can wait long time even with out pressing the button, plus the staff or fronk desk very polite and approachable, Mr Sraul filipino front desk even help us to get taxi outside, when we go back to Macau airport,we check out early and left our luggage at the front desk during our last day, since our flight is 19:00 Pm we got back around past 15:00 Pm,i recommend this Hotel to those who want cheaper hotel ,more power to Hotel Familia Feliz hope we can go back soon i will bring my family
AAnonymous UserWe stayed here for one night and it was quite an experience. The hostel has its charm, and we appreciated that the bathroom was kept clean with good water pressure — that's always a plus when traveling!
However, as someone who values comfort, a few things made our stay a little challenging. The room was quite cozy — perhaps a bit more compact than we had hoped for. The bathroom door has a small gap that allows water to splash into the room, so you might want to be mindful of that. Slippers are thoughtfully provided in the room, which is great since the flooring isn't quite barefoot-friendly — a small but appreciated touch! There was also a mosquito that kept us company through the night, which wasn't the most restful experience.
One thing worth noting for future guests — towels and water are available at an additional charge, so it's good to come prepared or set aside a little extra budget for those essentials.
Overall, it's a decent option if you're looking for budget accommodation in Macau, and the cleanliness of the bathroom is commendable. That said, for those who prioritize space and comfort, it may be worth exploring other options. We're grateful for the experience regardless, as every trip teaches us something new! 😊
AAlex Vohn Co Del RosarioUpon my arrival, I met a tenant that was wearing pajamas and she seems to have an annoyed expression because probably I arrived at around 1 a.m. to check in at that time. And there's one document that she asked me to give her that has some sort of QR code and I'm not sure what it is. Luckily she let it slid by and led to my room. There was no elevator so you have to walk by stairs and unfortunately my floor is at the highest floor and the corridor around it is so dark. The room itself seems clean. However, the walls had no color so it gave me an eerie vibe as well as the bathroom. They gave no water bottles so you have to get the glass cup to get water outside the door because the dispenser is outside. Overall, the room is ok but eerie at the same time. Will I come back? Probably not
