"Our family's stay at the Shantou Oriental Century Hotel with our kids was absolutely fantastic! The location is right in the heart of the East Coast, just a short walk to Jinwan Park for a stroll. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a heated infinity pool that includes a shallow area for children, and a free indoor kids' playground that's perfect for letting them burn off some energy. The overall service quality at the hotel is incredibly high; the front desk staff were efficient and thoughtful during check-in, proactively offering travel tips. Housekeeping cleaned our room meticulously, and any requests were handled promptly. Every staff member we encountered on our way through the hotel greeted us politely – they truly deserve a thumbs-up!"

"I won't say anything else, just the lady at the front desk. We originally wanted to try other hotels this time to see how they were. It wasn't the first time we went to this one, so we wanted to try a different view. But they didn't answer our calls or reply to our private messages. Later they said we just needed to go there to check in. I asked them who they were looking for to check in, but there was no one. The lady here is nicer and the view from the room is better too. This is the one from now on."

"Facilities: The facilities are quite well-established, no bad reviews like some mention of messy toilets or anything like that – everything was very neat and orderly. Hygiene: Very clean. I just felt the room was a bit small, but it was already quite good. Environment: Very beautiful and close to the beach. However, for meals, you have to walk about 5 minutes to another villa. But I think the breakfast was really plentiful, delicious, and the portions were generous. Unlike some places where they don't replenish food after it's finished, here they would immediately bring out a new dish even if there was still a little left. Service: The service attitude was exceptionally good. When they were mopping the floor, I slipped while holding my child and my foot and knee swelled up. They immediately brought me some 'Huoluo Oil' (a traditional Chinese liniment) – it was the first time I'd seen the 'Huoluo Oil' mentioned in songs, hahaha – and also some ice. Be sure to try the restaurants recommended by the butler; you won't be disappointed. Especially that seafood place – the seafood is incredibly fresh and delicious. It costs around 150 per person, but you can't get that level of freshness anywhere else. It's truly delicious. We initially thought this place looked a bit scary, so we booked the cheapest room. Later, we found it wasn't scary at all; it didn't live up to those terrible reviews. Everyone should definitely give it a try! If they had bed rails for infants, it would be absolutely perfect! I will definitely bring my family to stay here again. It's truly super, super beautiful. The healing feeling of being able to see the sea right from your bed is something you can't experience elsewhere. We only stayed for two days because it was fully booked afterwards, so we went to stay somewhere else, but it didn't feel as good and was even more expensive, hahahaha."

"My stay at the Shantou Masuland B&B was beyond expectation and I have to give it a thumbs up! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I felt a sense of genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was incredibly quick. They also provided detailed information about the hotel's facilities and nearby amenities, making me feel instantly at home. Our room was even more pleasantly surprised. It was spacious and bright, warmly and elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean, even down to the corners. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were the perfect height, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The room was also well-equipped, with excellent air conditioning, excellent heating and cooling, and reliable hot water. The toiletries were fresh and fragrant, and every detail was meticulously thought out. The hotel's restaurant is also worth a mention. The breakfast menu is diverse, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, catering to every taste. The dining environment is also clean and comfortable, and the waiters promptly cleared the table, providing attentive service. The hotel's location is also excellent, conveniently located near subway and bus stops. Numerous shopping malls and restaurants are also nearby, offering everything from entertainment and dining options. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The service, cleanliness, and facilities were impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the city, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip!"

"The B&B owner was super friendly and gave us a free room upgrade, plus complimentary coffee upon check-in. The room looked exactly like the pictures, with a lovely blue and white Santorini-style decor. The cat chilling by the restaurant entrance looked so relaxed, just like the vibe of this place. The B&B's location is also excellent, and the sea right outside is incredibly blue."

"The stay was great. This hotel has a projector that can be used to watch movies and project screens. The price is very cheap. The surrounding scenery is also good. There is a lot of food and it is cheap. Friends who came together are very satisfied"

"My childhood dream of living in a log cabin has come true!!! This was definitely the hotel I was most looking forward to on the whole trip! It truly didn't disappoint—and this isn't just a fake review!!! From the butler's service and breakfast to the overall stay experience, everything was meticulously planned. Even this detail-oriented person was won over! The fridge had drinks, the table had fruit, the toilet had a seat cover, the bathtub had a cover, and there was even body lotion. They even provided a huge bottle of drinking water, and so on… The floor was spotless even when I was barefoot. The toiletries had a refreshing bergamot scent (such a relaxing smell!). Sleeping on the second floor with the window open, listening to the rustling of the leaves in the wind, and watching the children playing happily… maybe this is what happiness is all about. ^_^"

Breakfast featured a rich variety of options, with the Chaoshan粿条 (guǒtiáo, a local noodle dish) and Cantonese dim sum being authentically delicious. The pool water was crystal clear, and the gym facilities were comprehensive. Overall, it was simply perfect. I would definitely choose this hotel again when my friends from overseas visit."

The accommodations were well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable and hygienic. The view from the window was beautiful, facing the sea, with spring flowers in bloom – a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. We brought elderly relatives and children, and the kids had a blast; there were plenty of play facilities. Sitting on the beach, gazing at the vast, boundless ocean, was a truly memorable experience. Our whole family loved it, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we're in Shantou."
