"My kid insisted on a hot spring hotel for Chinese New Year, and since we'd pretty much stayed at all the ones in Nanjing, we opted for Hantian in Tianmu Lake. **Cleanliness:** The hotel's overall cleanliness was really good, from the rooms to the hot springs and the restaurant. **Environment:** The environment is genuinely lovely, nestled by mountains and water. The resort is also quite spacious, perfect for kids. **Facilities:** The room was big enough, but the facilities felt a bit outdated. There's plenty of parking, but spaces near the main building are scarce, so you often have to park at P4. Although there's a shuttle, it still felt a bit inconvenient. **Service:** The service was genuinely excellent. Before our arrival, a dedicated butler contacted us, sent us the location, and reminded us about breakfast times. **Welcome Fruit & Minibar:** We stayed two nights, and they provided these daily. We didn't finish the fruit on the first day, but they still replenished it on the second. The minibar also had a good variety, including two cans of beer, which saved us a trip out. **Couple's 180° Lake View Half-Mountain Hot Spring Tickets:** They also included daily hot spring tickets and trampoline park tickets. The hot springs were indeed fantastic, with many pools. The lakeside pools offered breathtaking views, and with the good weather these past two days, we could even see the Big Dipper."

"It was a very satisfying trip. My family of three checked in on October 8th, booking a two-bedroom, one-living room room at Taoxie Viewing Bamboo. Our housekeeper, Li Sipeng, contacted me a day in advance to confirm our arrival time and provided us with detailed and clear information about the hotel. When we arrived at the parking lot, Li was already waiting for us and upgraded us to Taoxie Viewing Mountain. The experience was incredibly comfortable. My son and I each had our own suite, offering stunning views and an outdoor hot tub and swimming pool. The hotel also provided many helpful perks. The front desk, restaurant staff, driver, and staff were all courteous and helpful. Li was incredibly thoughtful and considerate. Our photographer, April, was also a fantastic photographer, and I was thrilled to capture so many beautiful photos. The restaurant's cuisine was also delicious and suited our tastes. Overall, I had a wonderful impression of Bamboo Valley and will definitely return when I have time."

"Food: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean."

"The service exceeded my expectations. The staff at Chang Le were incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service from the moment they drove me up the mountain in an electric cart, to the explanations along the way, and even the patient explanations of the facilities in the treehouse. The service was exceptionally attentive and meticulous. Both the hot springs at the summit and the private hot springs in my room had excellent water quality and were very comfortable. The environment was quiet, and the hiking around the mountain provided just the right amount of exercise for a relaxing vacation. A very satisfying trip."

"The B&B is located near Nanshan Bamboo Sea. It can be said that it is very convenient for eating and playing. The hotel has just opened. The facilities and rooms are very new. The design is mainly white and looks bright and comfortable. I also chose this place because it is pet-friendly, and the hotel staff love puppies. Very kind and the food cooked in the kitchen is delicious! You can discuss with the proprietress to choose small portions according to your appetite, so you won’t waste food! The private hot spring in the room is very comfortable, you don't feel cold at all, and you feel refreshed after taking a bath. It was a pleasant two days and one night. I would like to take my parents here to relax if I have time~"

Because I'm a bit lazy and missed breakfast, Xiao Rui even packed some breakfast and delivered it to my room – I'm very grateful! (Haha, I think for a relaxing vacation hotel, offering more flexibility with breakfast options would be better, catering to those who like to sleep in but still want breakfast). Overall, it's a good choice, and I'd consider staying here again sometime. Also, the service at the Thai hot pot restaurant was quite good."

"A small fresh homestay in the mountains. It is really a highlight of the trip, and people can't help but want to share it. From the moment I stepped into the homestay, I felt the warmth and comfort of home. The location is extremely convenient, with plenty of parking spaces and charging equipment. It is surrounded by green mountains, and the environment is elegant and quiet, as if you are in a paradise. Because we are two adults and two children, we were upgraded to a loft room on the second floor for free. It is spacious and bright, with excellent lighting, clean and tidy, and a fruit and beverage basket was given. The details show the care of the homestay owner. In terms of facilities, the toilet drains slowly and needs to be pressed for a longer time. But other homestays really have everything, and they are all very modern. The swimming pool is just under the outside window👇, which is great! It is particularly worth mentioning that the homestay owner also provided thoughtful service and suggested that we go to the hotel for dining and swimming, saying that the swimming pool there is larger and more comfortable, which makes people feel very thoughtful. In addition, the staff of the homestay are all handsome men and beautiful women, and they will say hello, which makes people feel full of enthusiasm. In the B&B, you can not only enjoy the comfortable accommodation environment, but also taste the local fruits, which is really a pleasure to stay in. "The pool suite is a two-bedroom, one-living room type, spacious enough for four people and one dog. I especially loved the balcony; it's a 270-degree view, directly facing the lake, with the pool right on the balcony, just like the pictures. The entire hotel is surrounded by mountains and water, with beautiful scenery and a quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Dinner needs to be booked at the front desk one day in advance. On the downsides, the room's drainage had a strong odor; the staff sprayed a lot of air freshener, but it wasn't very effective, requiring the exhaust fan to be constantly running. There were few and small trash cans; there was only one in the large living room, which filled up after three water bottles. On the first night, hot water for showering didn't come on until almost 10 pm. We brought a pet, and since we were going out during the day, we left it in the room. We asked the staff to clean the room upon our return, but when we came back, they hadn't even swept the floor, only provided replacement towels, and still no bath towels. This happened for all three nights. Luckily, we brought our own towels, so we didn't ask the staff to bring more. Overall, it felt like there weren't enough staff. Parking spaces were limited. Before we left, they gave us some black glutinous rice."
