"The hotel isn't very conveniently located. It's relatively close to the Tomei Gotemba bus stop but not close to the Outlets or any convenience stores.
On a clear day, you can see Mount Fuji from the window, and also from the breakfast area, which is a nice touch.
The room was small, and the bathroom was just average.
However, the Japanese staff at the front desk had a terrible attitude!
Also, the Ctrip page isn't clear enough. It should clearly state in large font whether it's a double bed room or a twin bed room! My friend and I were shocked to find a 1.35-meter bed. We went to the lobby to ask for a room change, even offering to pay the difference, but the front desk was unhelpful, coldly stating it was either book another room or no!"

"### ⚠️ Disappointing Breakfast Experience Despite Booking Info
The price was reasonable and the room itself was okay, but I had a very frustrating experience regarding the breakfast, which ruined my mood for the day.
* **The Issue:** The Trip.com booking page **clearly stated that breakfast was included** in my reservation. However, upon arrival, the hotel staff insisted it was not included and demanded an extra charge.
* **The Incident:** When I went to the restaurant during breakfast hours, I was stopped and barred from entering. This miscommunication between the booking platform and the hotel created a very awkward situation and really put a damper on my morning.
If you decide to book this place, I highly recommend double-checking your breakfast inclusion directly with the hotel beforehand to avoid this kind of unpleasant surprise."

Especially in the early morning, the golden yellow mountainside bathed in the morning sun is a supreme view that only those who visit this place can enjoy. After a comfortable sleep in a Western-style room furnished with a bed, enjoy a breakfast buffet of Japanese and Western dishes.
"I stayed at Hotel Ontei Fuji Gotemba for one night and had a pleasant experience overall.
The hotel is relatively new, clean, and comfortable. The highlight of the stay was definitely the view of Mount Fuji from the room. The scenery was beautiful, especially on a clear day.
Both breakfast and dinner offered a good variety of choices, and there was enough selection for different tastes. The facilities were also well maintained, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.
One thing to note is that the hotel is located in a rather secluded area, with very few shops or restaurants nearby. This may be inconvenient for guests who want to explore the area on foot, but it also makes the surroundings peaceful and less crowded.
Overall, it is a comfortable hotel with excellent Mount Fuji views and a quiet environment. I would consider staying again if I visit the area in the future."

"I stayed here for a business trip. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. It's close to the station, and there's a large supermarket right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. The room rate was affordable, but I was satisfied with everything. P.S. The nearby supermarket doesn't provide free chopsticks, but the hotel thoughtfully placed disposable chopsticks next to the microwave, which was a very nice touch!"
