However, the downside was an unpleasant smell in the room, and a sudden power outage one night. The emergency lights were bright, making it hard to sleep, though power was restored quickly. Overall, I still recommend it, especially with the hot springs which were very relaxing. Great stay!"

"This hotel is super convenient, less than 2 km from Gotemba Premium Outlets, and a taxi ride is only about 1000 yen. There's a 7-Eleven and a McDonald's nearby, plus a really delicious local cake shop (see picture). On a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji, and it's much quieter and less crowded than Tokyo. The hotel manager at the front desk is so welcoming and helpful, and the female staff member was also very friendly to foreigners – it really felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was good too, especially the local milk and yogurt; they're incredibly rich and definitely worth trying!"

"This hotel is suitable for self-driving as public transport stops are quite a distance away, making it inconvenient with luggage. Checking in very late felt a bit odd, and I mistakenly went to an old building nearby which was quite a fright! However, many staff appeared the next morning and everything was sorted. The breakfast was plentiful, and the front desk staff, who spoke Chinese, were very helpful in assisting us with taxi bookings, which was a huge plus."

"A perfect hotel to stay if you want the best view of Mount Fuji! I opened my eyes with Mount Fuji view! Pyjamas provided and is super comfy! Premium outlet located at 10mins away! I will stay at this hotel if I were to visit Mount Fuji again. Just one disadvantage, this hotel is located an hour away from a few tourist spots."

"I wasn't particularly particular about what I wanted, but I just wanted a place to sleep in a bed and have breakfast, so I found this place and booked it that day. There was a self-service coffee machine and ice maker, and plenty of amenities. There was a large public bath, so I enjoyed it with my children. The breakfast had a good selection of Japanese and Western food. The receptionist was also kind, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The view of Mt. Fuji from the window was beautiful, which was amazing. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity!"

I'd definitely love to visit again if I get the chance! Be sure to close the windows when you go out, as insects can come in. I imagine the view would be even more beautiful on a very clear, sunny day, and that makes me want to come back again!"

"The only downside was that the washing machine's spin cycle didn't work. Since it was only a 2-night, 3-day stay, I wrung out the towels by hand and hung them to dry. Because I dried them in my room, it prevented the room from getting too dry, haha."
