"The hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from American Village. The surrounding area is quiet at night, but sometimes it gets noisy when people practice motorcycle stunts on the side road. Closing the balcony door eliminates the noise. The hotel facilities are adequate, but you have to borrow a stove from the front desk to cook. The room has a strange smell, which is slightly improved after turning on the air conditioner, but the smell is still there. There are black spots and a musty smell on some of the walls. Sometimes there is an unidentified small insect crawling on the counter. The mattress is half hard and half soft, which is hard to get used to. The insulation between the upper and lower floors is very poor. If someone pulls out a chair on the upper floor, the person on the lower floor can hear it very clearly. I hope the hotel can issue a notice to tell future guests not to use the washing machine to do laundry between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., as it is very annoying and makes it difficult to sleep."

"10 minutes walk to American village , there are coffee and convenience stores nearby, the hotel charge extra fee for car Parking 1000¥ /day , there is not watching machine in hotel room, you need to go downstairs for laundry. The front desk services are from 3pm till 12 midnight . Overall good experience."

"Mango Resort was a great find - conveniently located close to Sunabe sea wall, American Village, restaurants etcc at a great price! My double bed room was compact but is cozy and worked great for a solo traveler (refrigerator, kitchenette, hot shower etc) Unit even had a washer/dryer but it was out of service during my stay. Check-in is via call center once you arrive at the property - make sure you have the door code to the building to enter!! Overall, excellent stay and I plan to return 😀"

"Traveling solo was great! The bathroom was super clean, and my roommates were quiet. It's conveniently located for walking or cycling to many places, and it's quite close to Kadena Air Base. Plus, there are some good food options nearby."

"Hands down, this is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The only minor drawback is its location near American Village, which can make getting around a bit inconvenient if you don't have a car. However, if you're able to rent a car for independent travel, it's absolutely perfect! **Pros:** 1. The balcony was incredibly comfortable. In summer, you can sleep with the balcony doors open, letting the refreshing sea breeze in without needing AC. It really brought back such nostalgic childhood memories. 2. The room itself is very spacious and fully equipped with everything you could need – pots, pans, dishes, a microwave, and even a convenient in-room washer and dryer. A huge plus for families with children! 3. We stayed here for two nights. As we were on a family vacation with our child, we mainly explored American Village and its immediate surroundings. Aeon Mall is just 3.4km away, and there are plenty of fantastic food options nearby, like yakiniku and ramen. I especially recommend the Indian restaurant right next door – it's delicious and really affordable! 4. Our kid was absolutely thrilled, spending an entire morning on the balcony watching fighter jets fly by!"

"I didn't check carefully, but there was only a shower and no bath, and the toilet didn't have a washlet, so this will be my last stay. The room was kept clean, but I felt a bit uneasy having the sink and toilet next to my pillow. If you're just looking to sleep, I think the price is reasonable and sufficient for the area. There are also chain restaurants and cafes just a short walk away. There's parking right in front of the hotel, and the front desk service was satisfactory."
