We have stayed at hotels located in or very near major airports. Some have been good, but we have found those actually in the airport usually practice treating guests as prisoners who don’t have other good options. Service there is usually average at best and care of the property is often marginal. Not so with the Sapporo Portom International. We wish every major airport in the world had a hotel just like it. It is new, modern, comfortable, well maintained, and run by a professional helpful staff. Our room was a Superior Twin, a typical shoe-box shaped hotel room, this one on the big side. Those who frequent hotels know the typical shoe box room will suffice as long as it’s clean and the water is hot, but you also probably notice some owners do a lot more than others with their rooms to make guests comfortable. This room has all the latest high tech, from lights to tv to curtains to outlets for charging. There’s a safe, fridge, and nespresso coffee maker. The bathroom has a little wet room with separate tub and shower. However, unlike many Japanese hotel wet rooms we encountered, the shower was western style (rather than the onsen-style with both shower and faucet, sitting stool and big bowl). However, if you want an onsen bath, the real thing can be accessed on the 4th floor of the hotel where there is everything you need to cleanse and then soak in a public bath of hot mineral water. The hotel also appears to be designed to facilitate quiet and rest. It’s purposely dimly lit and located at one end of the international terminal away from other airport services. It has black-out curtains. The location, which helps keep it quiet, is about 15-minutes' walk from the domestic terminal where most of the airport’s services are located (just a Lawson's convenience store nearby the hotel as well as a Visitor Welcome Center type place). Even if your itinerary doesn’t take you to the domestic terminal side of the airport, if you have time, you’ll likely want to peruse the many shops and restaurants over there. If you’re technology challenged, make sure to quiz the staff member who accompanies you to your room on room features and how they work. At checkout we were provided an airport cart and they loaded our luggage on it for us. This cart together with moving walkways between the international and domestic terminals removed a lot of the burden of crossing the airport on foot with luggage. We wanted to avoid rushing from the Sapporo city center to catch a 40-minute train or taxi to the airport for an early morning flight. The Sapporo Portom International was perfect, plus it afforded us a final onsen experience in Japan. Please build more.

This was my second stay. It is an older property (son was fascinated by the retro “control centre” on the middle bedside table, with the old knobs and buttons for the radio, heater etc) but it is very difficult to fault this hotel. Location is great, breakfast tasty, and it was super clean, with lots of amenities for travellers on the go. A man was turned away as we were checking out, because the hotel was full. So, best to book in advance. TIP: Lots of restaurants on the 3rd floor in the domestic terminal, including an excellent conveyor belt sushi restaurant. But everything closes by 9pm. The hotel does stock cup noodles though if you can’t get into the restaurants.

Truly a world class onsen resort! My partner and I booked a 2 night stay and was truly taken care of with dignity by ALL of the staff members we've interacted with. The minute we drove into the compound, our car was politely taken over by the valet staff, and luggages handled by their concierge - we literally completed check in without the hassle of finding a parking spot or dragging our luggages around. Every staff member, and I truly mean all of them, made sure they greeted you and ensured that you have everything you need. I highly recommend going for the Kaiseki Meal at the Japanese restaurant within the compound. We were taken care of by 中谷-san, who does his best to converse with us in English and made sure we know what we're consuming. Food was delicious, well-plated and very fresh. One thing to note - this is a superbly well-maintained onsen resort that probably has been established for many years now. Given the age of the facility, you won't be finding modern fixtures like USB outlets and cable TV in the room. Nevertheless, the beautiful and well-kept interiors would certainly make up for that. You'll also find amenities like sewing kit, nail clipper and even indigestion medicine (wow!) in case you ever need them. Highly recommended if you're in Hokkaido!

I stayed in the Bon Festival for a long time. It is only the highest peak of the Tsuruya Resort, and it is very luxurious such as decoration in the building. It was a space like an art museum such as a stacked wall in the lobby and earthenware and sculpture owned by the museum. The room uses suite sky resort. There are main roads and parking lots in front of you on the top floor of the 4 floor, but the view was good with the panoramic view of Lake Shiho and the distant mountains. The room was also a room with a room of 100 ㎡ over 々, and the open-air bath was satisfied with a large bath where four adults put in. All inclusive service allows you to eat all sake, drinks and snacks. I also handled champagne and ordered it many times during my stay. The meal is Japanese kaiseki and iron plate yaki, and it is also used in two places. We used high-class ingredients such as seasonal ingredients and sea urchin kinki, and it was delicious. The service side needs to be improved a little. * Compared to the previous time, the weekend was full, and the timing of the arrangement was slow. * Taxi arrangement time mistake (it was good because I checked in the morning and was in time...) * I bring it with a bottle without ice pale or plug at the time of champagne request... * It is the second stay this year, but I was asked to describe the inn book I received the impression that some men at the front desk were unfriendly & I couldn't get a little cooperation. Just a comfortable stay to cover it, so I would like to use it again.

1 night 2 days, special room with garden open-air bath ”Mizuasagi” non-smoking Japanese-Western style room, 2 adults (special dishes) Teppanyaki grill course / late check-out plan at 12 o'clock It's a little difficult to understand, After passing the large parking lot, go down the road to the shore of the lake, turn right on the prohibited sign, and immediately there is a lantern and entrance with the name of the hotel, turn left and put the car at the entrance. (The parking space at the front door is not very large) I arrived, but people didn't come out of the hotel easily, so when I was unloading my luggage myself, a hotel person came out and carried my luggage. I was asked to park the car in the parking space at the front door, so I stopped, check-in was done while having sweets and tea in the lobby overlooking the lakeside, and at this time I decided the dinner time and breakfast time, On the way to the room, I got a guide to the hall, the room was on the first basement floor, I got a room and put my luggage in the room and gave me a brief guide to the room, the room is quite large for two people, tea room, tatami room, bedroom, There are indoor baths, open-air baths, etc., the room is beautiful, but the lighting switches feel old, I immediately go to the large communal bath, I can go immediately because it is on the same floor as the room, a moderate size bathtub Feeling good, The temperature of the rock bath, which is a sleeping bath and a rock bath, was just right in the open-air bath, but the indoor bath felt quite cold (I told the front desk that it was lukewarm after going up), and then free homemade water jelly and coffee in the lounge on the first floor. I got a cup in the room because there was a paper cup, and there is also a lounge on the 2nd floor where you can have tea while looking at the lakeside, so I went back to the room and relaxed on the sofa. For dinner, you can sit on the sofa comfortably and sleep, have a soup stock drawn from the water of Lake Shikotsu, where you can have a teppanyaki grill at ”Moss An” on the first basement floor, in a wine glass, protrude, sashimi village, Following fish and meat dishes on the grill, I was able to choose between kettle-cooked white rice or plum-chazuke, finally dessert, it was good to have them baked in front of me and eat warm food, taraba, abalone, The Japanese beef with white old black hair was very delicious (the timing of the dishes was good). I got Inari-san to eat it for a midnight snack on my way home, returned to the room and took an open-air bath in the room. There is no place to wash your body in the open-air bath, so you have to wash it in the indoor bath, but there is a little distance (I washed my body first in the large communal bath). When I lay on the sofa after the bath and connected to the Wi-Fi in the building and looked at my smartphone, I was almost conscious of it. I decided to sleep because I was sleepy. There is a step between the bedroom, tatami room, and tea, so I operated the switch of the light in the room to sleep a little brighter, but it didn't work, so I didn't do it. Please turn on the light between the floors I slept (even this is bright), it was very quiet and I slept well probably because I didn't stay much because it was a weekday, I woke up in the morning and took an open-air bath in the room, and if there was an open-air bath in the room, you can put it in whenever you like. For breakfast, you can go up the stairs in the back of the moss moss and have a Japanese set meal at ”Kusan” on the first floor, and drinks include milk, green smoothies, tomato shoes and yogurt, and a water stove is placed on each table. It was a delicious and elaborate breakfast that was warmed with ”chip” and ”hocke” homemade fried satsuma, I had still time to go back to my room and check out, so I decided to take a walk along the lake. There were quite a few people walking along the lakeside in the same way, it was getting a little cold, so I went back to the room and took an open-air bath again, and when I was quite relaxed, there were few front desk people or a little time. It was good, you can have coffee and croissants with water in the lounge on the first floor in the morning, so you may want to wait a little in the lounge. I feel like the flow of time is a little slow, it may be good to use it for couples and couples. There is no convenience store around Tomakomai, so it seems to be careful because it becomes Family Mart or 7-Eleven from Family Mart Chitose.

This is an inn facing the shore of Lake Shikotsu. Lake Shikotsu never freezes, and the inns are open all year round. The inn was located in a corner of Lake Shikotsu, and we encountered many wild animals. (Deers, foxes, etc.) The open-air bath is linked to the water level of Lake Shikotsu, and the water level in the bath changes depending on the day, giving it a natural feel. The water is deeper than expected, so be careful when taking a bath with children. From the open-air bath, you could see Lake Shikotsu and Mt. Tarumae in the distance, which was very soothing. It's nice to have a sauna as well. It was handmade and you could feel the owner's love for saunas. Breakfast was a buffet, but some of the menus were difficult to understand, so I hesitated. I thought it would be good if you could add some explanation. Personally, I really liked the quality of the spring water in the bath. It's open all year round, so I'd like to visit in the winter next time.

This hotel is actually a resort hotel, and its location is beside Lake Shikotsu in National Park. If you catch up with the good season, the scenery there is absolutely good. The hotel is on the hill, very quiet, the service is super good, treat you as a VIP. Dining is authentic Japanese-style meals, the quality of materials is extremely high, if it is a holiday and leisure, it should be a good place. The only disadvantage is that the traffic is limited because the hotel does not provide buses to pick up at the airport or train station. There is a municipal bus stop near the hotel. It takes ten minutes to walk from the hotel down the mountain to the station. 5 minutes by car, this is perhaps the lowest cost a hotel can do. However, the journey from the city bus to the train station or the airport requires tourists to bear their own costs for a single trip of 1300 yen. The transportation costs in Japan are expensive. It may be like this. It takes less than an hour on the road. This is One. Secondly, in addition to the high cost of city buses, the time limit is very large. There is no shuttle at 4:30 pm. Once you go out and miss this point, you want to return to the hotel, or if you want to go to the hotel on the first day, only If you can take a taxi, the cost will be higher, at least three times the cost of the bus. Unless it is self-driving, it is recommended.

夫君请留步 2020.02.03
Lake Shikotsu is the northernmost ice-free lake in Japan. It has a charming view. The area of the lake is more than ten times the size of West Lake in our country. It is surrounded by four large mountains and surrounded by virgin forests. There are not as many tourist groups as Lake Toya. It is atmospheric, quiet and beautiful. . It coincides with the opening of Lake Shikotsu Ice Sculpture Festival, 300 yen per person, three minutes walk, worth visiting at night. From the north gate of Sapporo Station, there is a white, blue and green wing bus that can pick you up to the hotel for a fee. The Italian cuisine for dinner is more delicious than I thought. There are eight hotels in total, and each family can reserve two outdoor baths for one hour each. As a hot spring hotel, the full suit of the waiter is a little weird. In fact, the restaurant owner changed his job to provide hotel services. The details are still different from the old hot spring hotel, and they are not listed one by one. A reminder, don’t live in Marukoma at Lake Shikotsu. It’s just a lonely hotel on the westernmost bank. There are dozens of Chinese tourists who flew out during the wing pick-up. There are no Japanese! There are densely packed hotels on the east bank, as well as the Ice Sculpture Festival, the cruise ship dock and the hot spring street to stroll around. If the weather is good, you can enjoy the sunset. To sum up, if Cuiming Pavilion can book the only lake-view hot spring room, it is worth it. If you can't book it, then consider Song of Water. I don't think it is cost-effective near 4k here.
