We stayed here for our honeymoon! All the staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a bright smile whenever we passed the front desk, which made us feel really good. We were also thrilled to find our room had been upgraded! Thank you so much! The honeymoon towel art was a lovely touch as well. The hotel is nestled deep in the mountains, so access isn't the best, but that means you're surrounded by nature. I'm honestly terrified of bugs, but even though we were in a jungle setting, no large insects ever got into our room, which made it very comfortable (a few ants are to be expected, of course!). We booked a plan that included breakfast for two days, and the buffet was absolutely delicious! On our second day, I really wanted to try the floating breakfast. We requested it, but it didn't count as an upgrade; instead, our existing breakfast plan was canceled, and we had to pay the full price for the floating breakfast, which was a little disappointing. If you're considering the floating breakfast, it might be more cost-effective to book a room-only plan and add it on site. Overall, we were extremely satisfied! This hotel comes highly recommended. ^ ^

Great stay! The rooms were clean, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic. The overall hygiene in the room was excellent, making for a very comfortable experience. The environment is beautiful, the room itself is spotless, and the hotel front desk staff are incredibly warm and provide thoughtful service. The rooms are cozy, the front desk staff are gentle and polite, and the hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. Overall, it's fantastic. The rooms here are spacious, and the layout is very comfortable; my kids loved it. It's cozy, peaceful, and the soundproofing is good. The front desk staff are enthusiastic. I'll definitely come back again. The hotel environment is tidy.

The villa itself is of incredibly high quality, but what truly stole my heart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. It was wonderful to see how the local staff from the village worked together like a close-knit family, yet maintained an incredibly high level of professionalism and systematic efficiency. They operate like a well-oiled machine while keeping a warm, welcoming vibe. I especially want to give a massive shoutout to “Anggreni”—management absolutely needs to recognize what an invaluable asset she is to this property. Even though her shift officially ends at 10 PM, I personally saw her working well past 11 PM, going completely above and beyond to look after the guests with unmatched attentiveness. Her professional mindset, pure dedication, and genuine human-to-human kindness left me in absolute awe. It wasn't just good service; it was inspiring passion. Thank you to Anggreni and the entire Sanglung Villa team for making my stay unforgettable. I will definitely be back!

Amazing and flawless 10/10 stay at The Westin Ubud Bali. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is pure serenity—nestled in a lush rainforest setting with a breathtaking centrepiece infinity pool that feels like it’s floating in the clouds amongst the serine jungle. It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down and just breathe and experience a place you can relax, be well and rise every day feeling better than the next. The food is exceptional across the board—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. Every meal felt like a highlight and Sebastian takes pride and care with his team and the high food quality standards. What truly sets this property apart, though, is the passionate Westin associates that Go Beyond! The entire team operates at an incredibly high level, and it shows in every interaction. A special thank you to General Manager Saraswati, whose hands-on leadership is evident everywhere; you can feel how much she genuinely cares about both guests and her team. Darma at the lobby bar is a standout… his attention to detail and craftsmanship behind the bar made every visit memorable. Yana ensures the restaurants runs like clockwork, delivering a smooth, polished, and faultless dining experience every time. And Arta and Crisna—your work ethic and standards are simply outstanding. You consistently go above and beyond in a way that truly elevates the entire property. Cleanliness is absolutely next level—impeccable in every possible way with an amazing housekeeping team. The hotel is in a Balinese style, surrounded by meticulously maintained greenery. Each room is a standalone villa with tables and chairs outside the door. Breakfast can be delivered, and it closes at 12:00 PM, which is a huge plus for someone like me who doesn't wake up early. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool, not very large, but sufficient given there are only about a dozen villas. The restaurant has a particularly nice ambiance; it would be a social media sensation in China. The staff greeted me warmly. In my opinion, the hotel deserves 4.5 stars. I stayed for three nights, and everything I needed was in good condition; I didn't encounter anything bad, which was a pleasant surprise and shows the hotel takes great care in its maintenance. However, the rooms looked a bit old, which is a common issue with wooden rooms. Those who mind this should be cautious. Regarding other aspects, the location is very close to Kuta Beach and Baechwalk, but you need to walk through a narrow alley in front of the hotel. This alley is difficult to navigate, requiring you to navigate between pedestrians, motorbikes, and even cars, making continuous walking impossible. You constantly need to dodge vehicles, which slows down the actual walking time.

Everything at this hotel is absolutely delightful to the eye. The breakfast was incredibly tasty, and we even made it in time for the meal after our dolphin watching trip. The omelette and authentic Balinese coffee were absolutely delicious highlights. The property is just a short few minutes’ walk from the beach, which is super convenient. Most importantly, I mistakenly misread my schedule and accidentally caused trouble for the hotel staff, yet they treated me with such warm, patient hospitality and went out of their way to help me. I truly felt their kindness throughout my stay. Huge thanks to the whole hotel team, especially front desk staff Madie for all his thoughtful assistance. The cabin was small but cozy, clean, and everything worked perfectly. The view wasn't spectacular as the rice paddies surrounding the cabin hadn't grown yet when I visited, so it was just mud. In the evenings, there were many insects outside, which meant we couldn't sit out. However, overall, it was comfortable for spending time inside the cabin.

We booked for 2 nights and then extended for another 3. We wanted to extend directly at the hotel, but it was more expensive than through Trip.com. The breakfasts are very meager, not worth the extra ~500 rubles, especially since we had our own kitchen. We rented a scooter for all 5 days at 100 rupees a day. It makes life easier and gives you more flexibility with your time. There's a local market about 3 km away where you can find a good selection of fresh fish, vegetables, and fruits in the mornings (we went around 7 am). I already wrote a review about the room. We chose the Deluxe (it's better not to skimp on the standard room). The difference is only 200-300 rubles, and you get your own private area with a kitchen. The only downside is there's no electric kettle.

Great hostel to stay for 2-3 days near Batur! The price-quality is ideal! The room is modest, but that's enough. The territory has a beautiful view and a caring owner. During the day there are a lot of flies, but not only in this hostel, but in the whole village near Lake Batur. I recommend for such a price.

For a couple of days, a good hotel. You can rent a bike at the hotel for 70K, there is a diving center nearby. You can order a transfer to the airport, since it is difficult to find a taxi in this area. I ordered to the airport for 700K. The room is spacious, there is air conditioning, hot water and that's it. The room is not cleaned. You can eat in the cafe near the hotel. The prices are reasonable. The cafe is open until 10 pm. The ocean is about 40 meters from the hotel.
