"Brand new apartment, excellent location, great value for money."
Fatumaru Lodge ★★★
"Lying down to the sound of the waves with my partner, I felt so happy. It's just that the accommodations in Vanuatu are all pretty much the same – rather primitive, but still very beautiful."
Iririki Island Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"The room was clean and tidy and Iririki island has a lot of things to do. Every day they have a What will we do today letter that gives you options on all the events happening on a certain day so you won't lack options and if you don't feel like doing anything you can relax at one of their two pools that are both equipped with bars."

The Moso
"From the moment we stepped in off the boat, we felt like we had landed in paradise! We were made to feel incredibly welcome from the start. The staff were amazing and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was beautiful - clean and very comfortable with views of the ocean. We used the kayaks and stand up boards provided and snorkeled. An utterly relaxing break. We walked to the local village and the local school as we had taken some school supplies. The locals were lovely, loved our experience with meeting the children too. We both felt incredibly emotional when we left and are still talking about our holiday. We will definitely be back. Thank you Joel and Antoun for creating such a wonderful place."
South Pacific Memories
"Unique, elegant, and welcoming - South Pacific Memories is filled with flowers, art, and charm - with delicious food, gentle staff, and excellent dive instructors. The rooms are polished, bathroom and bed are up to European standards, and the handpainted murals make the space divine. I can’t say enough about the ambience - huge trees, Turkish lamps, and great conversation. If you find yourself there, you are among good company. There is room to park at the resort, and right outside the gate is village life Vanuatu. You don’t have far to go to see local lifestyles, but keep your eyes open when looking at the water as well - whales, dugongs, and rays are among the frequent visitors to the cove out front."
Mangoes Resort
"The room was a bit old, but otherwise fine; suitable for couples."
Waves at Surfside
"Since the moment we stepped off the plane we have done nothing but smile, relax and be immersed in the beauty of this country. Waves at Surfside was a truely magical experIence, beach at the front door, falling to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing, own swimming pool and beautiful amenities. A big shout out and thank you to Katia and her thoughtful, kind staff. Katia booked all our jaw dropping tours! Zip lining, horse riding, snorkelling with turtles, visiting a neighbouring island learning about their culture, seeing beautiful lagoons and finishing with the fire show at the Beach Bar to name a few. Our tour guides were exceptional, knowledgeable and so friendly. Always on the look out how to make our time with them memorable. We loved how we were not treated as a number and were constantly thanked for coming to visit their country. We were also able to use the washing machine and cooking facilities which saved money but also dine out if we wished. If you are looking for a place to make memories look no further Waves at Surfside is your place. Thank you Jacquie, Richard and Helena"
Mariner Apartments
"The apartment is close to town and within walking distance to all major attractions, dining places and important buildings"
Le Life Resort
"My son and I stayed at the hotel in cottage #4 by the sea in July 2026. The hotel itself is decent, and the price matches the quality – it's not expensive. We only had breakfast at the hotel (mostly omelets with vegetables and hot chocolate). We didn't opt for lunch or dinner because we had read previously that they were expensive. I pre-booked the airport transfer via email with the hotel; they replied promptly. A one-way transfer cost 12,000 in local currency, which we paid by credit card upon arrival. We also booked the return transfer through the hotel, which cost 120 USD. Honestly, I think the transfer was pricey, but I couldn't find any online taxi services, and the hotel is over 60 km from the airport, so I had to go with this option as there were no others. After leaving the airport, we stopped at a supermarket to buy food to replace hotel lunches and dinners. The cottage has everything: hot water, good bedding, and towels. There's also a gas stovetop, dishes, a kettle, plates, spoons, and forks, so you can cook your own meals. However, there's nowhere to buy groceries near the hotel, so we stocked up at the supermarket upon arrival. There's no safe or slippers in the room. The hotel grounds are large, with plenty of places to walk and a long beachfront. The staff are polite and pleasant, and the hotel grounds are well-maintained. Overall, that aspect was great. What I didn't like: there's no internet in the room, which was a significant issue for me. Internet is only available in the hotel lobby, where the reception and dining area are, which is a real shame. Luckily, our cottage was right by the reception, so that was convenient. Also, be aware that there are very strong low tides on the beach until noon, though this wasn't a major concern for us; we just walked along the ocean, which was wonderful."
Trees and Fishes Private Retreat
"The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the city center and is not very large. It has its own beach and small pier. Guests can use canoes and SUPs for free; masks need to be rented. It's recommended to rent a car. The hotel charges 7000 VAT for a one-way trip to the city center, and 30,000 VAT for a full day's use with a driver. They don't give room keys; they say it's only for staff and guests, so there's nothing to worry about. Even our room door was difficult to close properly, so we just left it open. The food at the hotel wasn't very good. Breakfast was okay, but the penne pasta we ordered for lunch was extremely salty, and the fish burger for dinner had a bread as hard as a baguette. The pizza was okay, and the fries were good. The scenery is beautiful. We stayed for four nights, but lunch and dinner were the most inconvenient."
Coconut Palms Resort & Diamond Casino
"Facilities: Extremely outdated Cleanliness: Dirty; cockroaches, mosquitoes, and ants every day. Even after using insecticide for a day, there are still a bunch of dead ants in the room every day 😪 Environment: Average; there is a swimming pool. I didn't use the free airport shuttle service. The hotel's location is okay; it's the cheapest in the area. Hotel management: 👎"
MG Cocomo Resort Vanuatu
"Hate to say it but since the Chinese bought it the place is going downhill. Reception staff are great but it stops there. Bar/Restaurant staff look like they don’t want to be there. Food was OK. Cocktails are nice. Pool was nice. Lagoon was average. Couldn’t swim in it. It’s infested with spiky star fish. Watch your step. TV in the room didn’t work. No A/C in lounge room/kitchen downstairs. Only a ceiling fan that barely spun.aster bedroom was nice and comfortable with working a/c and fan. 2nd bedroom no a/c but fan worked. Owner needs to spend more money on the place to fix it up a bit. Rooms included. A new kettle won’t do it mate. They were fixing up the kids pool area which is good. Main pool was fine. Bar/restaurant right next to pool is good but you can see that area needs a bit of love. The grounds are lovely and there is a kids play area with working equipment. We had room 11. Location is OK. Kava bar across the road if you’re keen. We did. No issues. Supermarket right next door is handy. I wouldn’t stay here again and would choose another place sorry."
Coco Beach Resort
"Disgusting and a rip off! The locals know about this scam, but there is nothing they can do about the poor visitors who are tricked into thinking this is a nice place to stay."
Erakor Island Resort & Spa
"This facility is pretty good in an island country! Super nice sea view room, 24-hour hotel ferry, all the staff are very friendly, I will come again next time! This is the photo I took for you"
